That's a good question. How long ago did you delete the message? What model phone are you using? If you had your messages backed up with the Verizon Cloud application, then you'd be able to retrieve this message when restoring from the Cloud.

I would like to resend a previously sent email but my iPad is only showing my inbox. How can I see my sent folder?

In your email inbox, hit the back arrow in the top left.
Underneath where it says "Accounts" select the one that you are using.
In there, you will see the "Sent Mail" folder.

On your devices check Settings/Messages/Send & Receive to ensure the "reached at" addresses are the same. I would also set the "new conversation" option to the same address on both devices as well unless you specifically want to keep them separated.

The organizer is not a browser, it is a database : even if it can show photos in your folders structure, it only works on the files wich have been 'imported' and registered in the catalog. It can show your registered pictures displayed according to the real folder structure based on the paths registered with each present file, but you'll have problems if some upper level folder is empty.
On the other hand, the items registered in a catalogue can't be duplicates, and the Organizer prevents duplicates to be registered. There is no simple one click way to override this constraint, which would mean a different database 'key', that is to rename the duplicates you want to register.
Practical way : since you have to rename the duplicates before importing them, you could do this directly in Windows or any other freeware like Faststone photoresizer.
Or you could open those pictures directly from the editor, browsing in your folder structure.
Imagine you have duplicates in a folder and want to rename them and import them using only PSE :
- From the editor, use the 'process multiple files' to export the files from this folder and rename them, for instance 'IMG_0012.jpg' + 'dupl' stating the same destination folder
- Try again to 'get files and videos' from the organizer.

How to get soap message sent out

Hi,
I used a client proxy in ABAP to consume a web service.
However I got errors saying there is 'Unexpected elemement' in SOAP message.
To find out the root cause, i would like to get the soap message sent out from the proxy.
Is there any way to do that?

How can I access messages sent to .mac email aliases?

First off, I apologize if this has been addressed earlier. It appears that search is disabled right now and I don't have time to sift through the entire discussion.
Has anyone determined a way to read email sent to a .mac alias through the iPhone? I'm only seeing messages sent to my primary email address. When I try to add the alias as a separate account on the phone, it is rejected by the mail.mac.com server.

I have sucessfully set up my .mac alias (using .mac mail).
First make a note of your primary account information:
Username & password
Incoming mail server
Outgoing mail server
Ports etc...
You will be applying these settings to your new account.
On iPhone go to:
* Settings/mail/add account/choose "other".
* Sellect type: imap
Name the account (name you want to appear in "from" field of email).
Type in your .mac alias address.
Description: Name of mailbox (i.e. personal, work).
Incoming mail server (enter info from your primary account):
* Host Name: mail.example.com (or mail.mac.com)
* Your primary account username
* Your primary account password
Outgoing mail server (enter info from your primary account)
In my case, for out going mail server I am using:
smtp.att.yahoo.com, port: 465
My username & password
Now, on my iPhone mail, I can select which account to send & receive from.
Personal or work.
Works for me, hope it does for you!

All messages sent but still says 'sending'

Hi everybody,
I'm facing an annoying issue with one Message/iMessage conversation I have on my iPhone... So here is the deal. I have sent a few iMessages to a person but some of them have been sent as SMS text messages, probably because of bad network. Anyway, all of them have been read (that is what the read receipts account) and yet the line on the top of the screen says 'Sending...' ! But there is nothing to send anymore!
I've already tried quitting the app and turning my phone off/on and since I would like to keep that conversation, I'm not really keen on deleating it... Does any of you know how to solve this?

Never mind, I solved the issue myself! Thought perhaps sharing would help others that would be have facing the same thing... So here is what I did: I deleted the messages that had been sent as SMS text messages (which were indeed sent and recieved) but my iPhone did not seem to agree with that...
Everything is fine and sent now .

Mail Messages Sent but not Stored in Sent Box

As of this morning I have sent probably a dozen or more e-mails but none of them are appearing in my Sent Messages Box. I have tried using both of my computers to send e-mails (which sync via .mac) and I have looked on .mac using my web browser but there is no record that the e-mails were sent (although is appears that they are going through). Any suggestions

Report the names of the files and folders present at the first level of the ~/Library/Mail/ folder in the Finder.
In order to post the exact file names and avoid typing mistakes, proceed as follows. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/. With that folder open, if you’re looking at it in View > as List mode, first collapse any expanded folders so that the Finder only shows the files and folders at the first level of ~/Library/Mail/. Now, do Edit > Select All (⌘A), then Edit > Copy (⌘C), and paste it in your reply to this post.
Before actually posting that information, edit it so that the file/folder names do not reveal any details you should keep private, e.g. replace any real username with “username” to hide your real email address. Other than that, report the file/folder names as accurately as possible.
Now, go to ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/. With that folder open, repeat the procedure to let me see the names of the files and folders it contains. Again, you may disguise any mailbox names you wish to keep private. Be careful to not alter any suffixes, though.
Finally, report the names of the files and folders present at the first level of the ~/Library/Mail/Mac-username/ account folder.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.

But, once again, whatever software you are using for a proxy server, is the place to get this information, and that has nothing to do with Java. Read that proxies access logs, and its documentation so you can can configure it to give exactly the info you want, if it is not already.

BBM All messages sent - BUT only some delivered

I am a long-term user of BBM who recently purchased a new Z10. Great phone; however when I am sending BBM messengers to my partner, only about half the messages are delivered and read (D and R) , the rest are marked as sent only (grey tick). I have tried the usual tricks of taking the battery out, deleting contact etc, but no luck!

The contacts that receive just a checkmark, do you receive messages from them? Also if you connect to the Wi-Fi network do you see a difference? Also when you delete the contact, do you re-add them via PIN?

Solution found- messages sent but not received

For those that have had the problem of sending texts on your iPhone, but they are not being received at particular numbers, a friend of mine had success with the following procedure:
1. delete all contacts
2. initiate a message to a problem receipient using xxx-xxx-xxxx within messages itself. Do not make a new contact yet. Do not include a 1 as a preface in the number.
3. If successful, choose "add to contacts", and rebuild your "contacts"

Verify that the contact you are attempting to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up orforward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and re-create the contact in the Contacts application. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.
Back up and restore your device as new.

How do I view messages chat history?

I have been using my Ipad to message with friends. I wanted to look at the history of a recent chat, but don't want to click at the top of the chat to load more. Is there a way I can see all my history?

skype histories are saved locally, or in the computer where the chat conversations happened. If you no longer have access to your old machine, there is no way to restore your chat history.

Iphone 5 Picture Messages Sent But Not received

My iphone 5 will send picture messages and say delivered (iMessages) but not received by that person. The person will only get the picture if it was through SMS. I need help on fixing this ASAP

HT3529 how can I get messages sent to me to stop showing up on their ipods.

My children and I share one Itunes account. How can I fix my settings so that when people message me on my iphone from another Iphone, it won't show up on my kids Ipods. I rather my kids not see what people are sending me for messages.

Make a new Apple ID for each of your children, and use that for iCloud, FaceTime and iMessage.
You can keep the 'old' Apple ID on their devices for iTunes and App Stores.
This should allow you to all share the iTunes/Apps, but keep the messages separate. Also, you can enable iCloud backup for each device under the unique Apple ID, and set it to automatically do a backup on a regular basis.
