How do I view my backed up photos from icloud?

I am trying to figure out how to view the photos that are backed up on iCloud. My real issue is I don't have enough storage to back up my phone so I've been deleting things and saving my photos to my computer, but I'm still not able to back up iClouds.

iCloud.com does not have a photo's tab. Photo stream is intended to stream images to your computer via iPhoto 11, or to another iOS device. See this article for more detailed information - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486.

Hi you can take to Apple Store they may Replace with a Refurbished, one but you will need to pay part of cost. Make an Appointment, if you do get Another iphone when you set it up Just use the same Apple, id & password then you will get all your Apps & Data back. Cheers Brian

I would like to see the photos I have backed up, and don't understand how to access the backup.

You can't view photos in a backup. A backup is just a pile of data on the icloud servers that can only be accessed when performing a restore to a device from that backup. But you can't "look" inside a backup to see data that is stored there.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

My hard drive failed on my first mac book pro, I have a time machine which has restored all my data on to the new hard drive. However all my photos/videos have not been restored.

Ok, my confusion. The songs are still all on my computer? Only the devices are backed up to Cloud?
I was worried that if I turned off Match and Cloud that my music would be gone. They sent me a message that all my songs were on Cloud.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content & Settings. This will bring you back to the initial setup screens, and allow you to choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as restoring may take some time to finish.

Unfortunately, you cannot view, edit or delete selective data from a backup. You can either delete the whole backup or use the whole backup to restore your device.

backed up and synced are two different things.
Backed up -you can find in settings icloud -storage and back up -when you tap your backup, you ll see files inside your apps, that are backed up.
Synced -mostly your iworks suite (pages, numbers, keynote)

How do i get contacts back to outlook from icloud

I have a new ipad air and a pc with windows 7 and office 2010. Apple store advised me to download the iCloud control panel so I could sync contacts etc with the ipad. Also I have an iPod Touch (second Generation). I sync'd the iPad and now when I go back to the pc my Outlook contacts are gone to iCloud. I need the contacts in outlook (as well ?) so that email from Outlook is seemless. Also all my contacts in my Ipod touch are now gone. Help!

As far as I know, Outlook will always default to My Contacts when you open your contacts. Just click your contacts in the left sidebar to view your iCloud contacts.
If you need to get a copy of your contacts to your iPod, download the app My Contacts Backup to your iPad. Use the app to back up your contacts as a vCard attachment to an email. Send the email to yourself, then open it on your iPod and tap the attachment to import the contacts to your iPod. They will not sync changes you make on your iPad or in Outlook, but you'll have a copy of your contacts.
(If you really need to be able to sync contacts with your iPod, create a Gmail account and add the contacts to Gamil from the vCard backup. You can then add the Gmail account to your iPod, iPad and Outlook and sync contacts with Gmail across all your devices instead.)

This is an extract from one of our regular participant; hope he doesn't mind me reproducing it here
1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.

I have tried resetting and following the on line instructions.
It backs up my contacts. A clue might be that it downloads only a couple of phots I took on this device. I made sure to back up from my previous device before setting up the new phone.

For Mavericks you need to upgrade to iPhoto 9.5.1.
You cannot buy this version from the AppStore, since the current version is iPhoto 9.6, and that requires Yosemite. The easiest route for you would be to upgrade to Yosemite. You should call Apple Support and give them your Apple ID so that they can verify how many photos you actually do have backed up in iCloud...
Also, are you able to do an iTunes backup at all? Because that would save all of the photos and allow you to get them onto the new device.
