How do I view my iCloud backup?? I have tried for a week and can't seem to get it. Please help!
I don't understand how I can view my backups.

It isn't possible to see the individual files included in your backups if that's what you mean. You can only see what you have elected to include in the backup (in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage...tap your device under Backups, then look under Backup Options), but not to see the actual data.

When my 6 year old daughter plays the free games that I have downloaded for her IPAD and IPOD, I am now getting upgrade charges on these free games to my AMEX Card. Why is this happening and how do I get my AMEX card off of the IPAD and IPOD?
She is making in app purchases. Probably not knowing what that means to your monthly credit card bill. Use the Settings app to enable restrictions and turn on restrictions for iTunes, App Store and in app purchases, mabe some others too. The restrictions will be set with a passcode to prevent your daughter from changing them.

I currently have the Mac OS X v10.5.8 and want to get the new operating system but I don't know how to do it. I don't have the Mac App Store and can't get it because of my version. What do I do?
The Early 2006 model 1,1 Core Duo can only run a maximum of 10.6 Snow Leopard. The models Late 2006 Core 2 Duos 2,1 through Early 2008 4,1 can only run a maximum of 10.7 Lion. The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody through the Mid 2010 White Unibody model 7,1 can run 10.8 Mountain Lion.
To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
The Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD should still be available from Apple for $20. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775 to purchase it. It may still be in the Legacy Products list.
If they no longer have any in stock you will have to buy it from eBay or Apple resellers that still have stock. But you will have to pay a premium since the DVDs are no longer being made. Snow Leopard DVDs are already up to $100 on Amazon.

Once you are at 10.6.8 Lion is still available from Apple. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775. to purchase it. Then within 3 days you will get an email with a code which you can use to download Lion from the App Store. The price is still $29. You must have at least a model 2,1 MacBook.
Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.

Also Lion doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Lion.
Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications. -
How can I fix error code 131:4? Licensing for this product stopped working. I have windows vista home edition and CS4 Design Premium. I downloaded licensing zip file for windows but I can't seem to get it to launch. Look forward to help from anyone

I appreciate your answer. While it might work, I'm a bit hesitant to remove the other programs as a possible solution since they are all currently working.
With Acrobat 9 Pro failing with the OS 10.7 upgrade, I'm hoping that there is a less severe solution.
Since the trigger appears to be 10.7 and may have something to do with the discontinued support of Rosetta, I could be spending a few hours working on a reinstall without a change. Yes, it might work. The "might" is the part that makes me hesitate.
Is anyone else out there on OS 10.7 and running Acrobat 9 Pro? Any issues with anyone else?

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have been trying for 2 days to connect my home camera dvr to the internet through my Airport Extreme. I have read several previous posts on this topic and have not been able to get this completed. I secured a Dyndns account and registered a host domain. I am not clear on which ip address to use and really which is which. Seems like the ip address for the router is different from the ip address that showed up when I secured my dyndns host name. I used the one that was listed on the signup that staed " your ip address is". I have read up on port forwarding and watched UTube and still no luck. Can someone walk me through a steo by step process on how to get this completed? I want to be able to watch my cameras from my iphone, ipad, macbook pro and the internet. I do have a manual that came with the DVR but it seems everything is setup for Windows and a different router, seems like the AE router had different settings. I can usually figure these things out eventually but I am really stuck this time. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Apple Support does not seem to be available here in Mexico...given phone numbers don´´t work. No local Apple Store. Meanwhile my IPad refuses to open, even allow me to connect to WiFi until I update my ICloud...which can´t be done till I´m connected to WiFi...chicken and egg story.

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -

Sounds like you have a firmware password set.
As you can't do that accidentally, you surely must know the password (which is different from your admin password)? -
I have changed the AppleID, updated it in ITUNES but am unable to change icloud and the app store. Any suggestions?

Hello all,
I am looking for assistance with this. I have iTunes 11.1.5.
I want to play movies I have purchased from the iTunes Store without downloading them as my storage is limited. I seem able to do this on my iPhone and iPad but it does not seem to be available on this MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9.2.
I used to be able to do it as the film appeared as a box with a little cloud on the upper corner but they are not there anymore.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I think no. I think the movie is going to have to download. I believe the only place to which movies stream is an AppleTV or if you are providing a source with Home Sharing. Changing the preferences setting will only cause iTunes to leave items you add to the library in their original location instead og what it usually does which is put a copy in the media folder. However, in the case of a download it will go there anyway since it will have to go somewhere and won't stay in its original location (i.e., Apple's server). -

The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

Why can't I view my icloud backups on a new apple device using the same icloud id? Unluckily I lost 4 iphones in 2 yrs. all had same icloud acct on them, so when i log on to locate my current iphone on my macbook or on new iphone, it shows a list of all the lost iphones and their data take up.
When i click on settings on my ios> go to icloud > storage & backup> manage storage:
LOST IPHONE 1- 4.5 GB DOCUMENTS & DATA : it shows PREVIEW 1.2 MB PAGES1.6 MB TEXT EDIT91.6 KB PHOTOS 3.2 GB
LOST IPHONE 2- 3.2 GB DOCUMENTS & DATA: it shows same thing just different gb's mb's kb's
LOST IPHONE 3- etc.......
but you can't click on those documents & data to show what exactly they are so you can move them or save and delete. If I go into icloud there's nothing there from that long ago. is that data deleted? if i were to get that certain iphone back and turn it on would the pics, docs still be in icloud? it says all that room in my icloud is still taken up so where can i view it?? anyone know??
THANK YOU!If you haven't already, you could force-quit Quicktime by using the menu option from the desktop (finder) and choose Quicktime.
Not sure what you have frozen on the screen, be it a failed movie, or some unusual screen shot. If you can find by date (created) you may be able to look for .mov or quicktime suffix name or other video file content to delete it.
And you may have to restart your computer and perhaps run repair disk permissions from Disk Utility's first aid on the hard disk drive in your computer.
Not sure if all that would help now, but it is something a few days late...!
