That I don't know. The CD-R was a gift from a trusted friend and contains photos of my dog, which I had to have put down two days ago How many photos, file extensions, etc. I do not know, but could find out if needed.

What happens when you try to play the actual film ? And have you tried deleting them and (assuming that they're still in the store) redownloading them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page - or going into Edit > Preferences and on the Store tab ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box so that they show in the My Movies part of your library with a cloud icon against it for redownloading) ?
(You can't store films in the cloud, whether they will show there for redownloading depends upon what country that you are in - and if you move countries or if the rights-holder removes them then you also won't be able to redownload them. Ideally you'd be taking a backup copy of all of your downloads, and not relying on being able to redownload them in the future.)

  • HT4890 How do I view pictures in photo stream online?

How do I view pictures online for photostream? I am so frustrated that I can't figure it out. Does anyone know?

There is no Photo Stream picture viewer function on the icloud.com website. The Photo Stream function is just to move pictures around among your devices and computers, not to display them.
On the other hand, there is a "journal" feature in the iPhoto app for iOS that creates somethng vaguely like a photo album that can be viewed with a web browser, and the journal is stored in iCloud, but it is not accessed through icloud.com.

  • How can I view pictures burned to a dvd?

I've been reading other support sites discussing this topic and I have yet to see anything that solves this issue.  I have a DVD from a photographer with pictures on it.  It works on a PC and a Mac running snow leopard.  Lion WILL NOT read this DVD.  It tells me it is a recordable DVD but does not show the pictures.  I am highly annoyed that upgrading to this OS has created this issue.  I don't want to go back to Snow Leopard just to view this DVD (and I don't know how to revert back to it either).  I also don't want to put it on my ancient PC desktop just to view the pictures.  Has anyone come across any fixes to resolve this issue?  My DVD player is just fine.  It will play movies but not recognize the picture DVD.

It may have a program that runs and allows you to view the pictures in a slide show type format. The program is ppc compatible and can run on 10.6.x (Snow Leopard) but won't run on Lion (10.7) because ppc programs are not compatible with Lion. There is nothing to resolve other than it's a fact and was known well before Lion was released.

  • HT201077 how do you view pictures in photo stream

Have set up photo stream on  my mac and sent some pictiures to my wife.  She has an email and when try and open the pictures says must have updated Mountian lion and iphoto and icloud
So I updated them all on her machine but still clicking on the email just brings a message saying need updated icloud etc?

Finally after three tries you explained
So you are using (or trying to use) a shared PhotoStream
Did you read the instructions in the links I posted?
What do I need to use Photo Stream?
To use Photo Stream, including Shared Photo Streams, you need an iCloud account, compatible devices, and up-to-date software:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 6.0 or later
Mac with OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2 or later and iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later
PC with Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and the iCloud Control Panel 2.1 or later for Windows
Apple TV (2nd generation) with Software Update 5.1 or later
You can still use Photo Stream without Shared Photo Streams if your devices meet these requirements:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5.1 or later
Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and iPhoto 9.2.2 or Aperture 3.2.3 or later
PC with Windows 7 or Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) and the iCloud Control Panel v2.0 or later for Windows
Apple TV (2nd generation) with Software Update 5.0 or later

How do I turn on Photo Stream?
Once your devices are up to date and you have set up your iCloud account, it’s easy turn on Photo Stream on any of your devices. Here’s how:
On your iOS devices, go to Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and turn on My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams.
On your Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud and select the checkbox for Photo Stream. Click the Options button to verify that both My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are enabled. Then, open iPhoto or Aperture to confirm that My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are turned on in the application you want to use with Photo Stream. You can also adjust your Photo Stream settings in iPhoto or Aperture Preferences.
On your PC, open the iCloud Control Panel for Windows and select the checkbox for Photo Stream. You can click on the Options button to verify that both My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are enabled and adjust the settings. Be sure to click Apply.
Does she have OS X 10.8.2 or above? Does she have iPhoto 9.4 or above?

  • HT1766 Backed up iPhone in iTunes how do you view pictures to make sure they are saved

Backed up phone in iTunes but want to see on computer before I delete off phone all the pictures I saved

The camera roll is contained in an iTunes backup but you cannot view the pictures in the backup without special third party software on your computer.
If you wish you can load the camera roll photos to your computer by connecting it to your computer and have the iPad recognized as a camera.

  • How do I view pictures on iPhone 5?

I just purchased a new iPhone 5 and I am trying to take pictures.  When I take I can't see them

When you take a pic, an icon will appear in the lower left corner of the Camera app.  If you tap it, you can see the pic you just took.  You can choose to delete it at that point, if you want to.  You can see any pix you have taken, that are still on the phone, via the "Photos" app.

You can't as far as I know.  The iCloud is for displaying photos taken with your iPhone or iPad. You can confirm this by asking in the MobileMe community: MobileMe on my Mac: MobileMe: Apple Support Communities

How does one view pictures on a disc in a slide show??

Insert the disk into your MacBook and open the disk icon in Finder. Now select all of the image names that you want to see (use Shift-click for contiguous selections, Command-click for non-continguous ones). Next, hit your space bar to enter the Quick Look function, and the first image will pop up in Finder. The controls at the bottom of the picture will allow you to view the photos in full screen and to stop/pause/play the slideshow. Enjoy!
