    Hi diesel vdub,
I made sure software was up to date on both Apple Smart TV and my iPad.  I still get the message, "Watching videos on mirroring isn't currently available on this app."  I have seen other people with same problem as well.   Guess I'm out of luck

how can I watch Asc.asf video on my iPhone 5

Of course there is, but I wouldn't have much confidence with this particular website developer.
YouTube coverted all video to an iPhone compatible format with the IPhone YouTube application, which are streamed to the iPhone.
The website developer can check the iPhone specifications via Apple's website for the iPhone, which includes video formats supported with the iPhone.

  • As apple does not support Adobe flash how do I watch youtube other  videos and play games?

As apple does not support Adobe flash how do I watch youtube other  videos and play games?

There is a YouTube built-in app for watching those videos. If you can't find the app (it can't be deleted), then check that it's not hidden via Settings > General > Restrictions > YouTube.
For videos on other sites then you might find that some of them (probably more so if they are news sites) have their own apps in the App Store which might let you get some of the content that you want (and there is the built-in YouTube app). Also there are browsers such as Skyfire which 'work' on some sites - but judging by the reviews not all sites. If you want to play flash games then you are probably out of luck if you want to play on-line though the iSwifter app might work on some of them, but again some flash games have app versions in the store.

  • How can I open email attachments in Pages?

I am unable to open email attachments such as Word docs and PDFs in Pages. If I select them I get "open in mover lite." Until recently, when I selected them I could open in iBooks but that is no longer an option for me. I am not sure iBooks would help anyway!

  • How to delete all email attachments to free up space?

I'm on a MBP with a 240 GB SSD. Somehow my Mail folder is 90 GB!
I'd like to have an expert tell me how to go about deleting all of the attachments from my SSD so that I can free up space.
My set up is several work email accounts, and one personal email account, on Mail.app, all IMAP via Google Apps and Gmail.
I found this, and tried it, but only freed up 4 GB, which doesn't make sense to me???

Could you break this down for me more specifically?  Hit menu after I've gotten into my email?  I don't see delete in the menu (only the box to the left of the actual email itself).  Thanks for any help!!

  • How do i open email attachments

I've seen this question unanswered on here many times - really need an answer. How do I open my email attachments in Firefox? Are there settings somewhere? I have Power Point in my computer but it isn't working with Firefox like it did with IE. Been looking all over for instructions but haven't found any yet. Please help.

Attachments do open immediately via my yahoo mail.
Really - now that's interesting because that is one of my pet peeves with my Yahoo Mail (accessed via browser): I have to download the attachments, they refuse to open within the message window. Especially one friend who likes to send 50 photos at once and I'd rather take a look before deciding which ones (if any) to download. Can't do it - can download one at a time, but it is still a download.....

  • How it can download email attachments automatically?

I want to have my email attachments automatically downloaded from the server. Outlook does it.
please advice how it could be done?

If you enable View/Display Attachments Inline, picture, html and text attachments will automatically be downloaded and shown below the message body. For other file types, you have to do it manually, although it is possible to create a filter that saves attachments to an external folder.

  • How can I watch 1920x1080 60p video in the iPad?

Background - I recently purchased a Sony Camcorder.  It records in AVCHD format 1920x1080 60p.  I have converted the AVCHD format to .mov using clip wrap but I cannot sync the file to my iPad 3 with iTunes probably because the iPad can only play up to 30 fps and this video is in 60 fps.  I can record in a lower quality mode of 1440x1080 30 fps but the quality is significantly less.  Is there a way to make this compatible somehow to play on the iPad?   Maybe convert it from 60 fps to 30? I know there must be a way.  I have a 3rd party app called Filebrowser and when I play the .mov 1920x1080 60p file directly from the source (my MacBook) it plays it on the iPad and the quality is incredible.  Only problem is that since it is streaming the iPad can't stream fast enough to play it without pausing every 5 seconds.  If my camera could record in 1920x1080 30p I wouldn't have this issue but for some reason Sony doesn't allow this.  I chose Sony because the video is significantly better than Canon, Nikon and other brands.  Does someone please have a suggestion?  I have been researching for hours so if there is another forum post that explains I am sorry I could not find it and I have a migraine from searching.  I am definitely an amateur at best trying to get great quality home video on my retina display iPad.  What good does the retina display do if I have to watch mediocre video quality.  Any help is appreciated.  Regards.

    Hi,
I too would like to know the answer to your question. I don't thnk the answer you got was what you were looking for. I would go to the Digital Vdeo Infrmation Network forums and ask there about which is the best software to convert 60p to 30p. I don't remember off hand how exactly to do it. But it is a little complecated as I recall. People over there will be more than helpful.
I took 720p 60fps footage when I should have taken 30p footage with my Canon 60D camera.
I just hope that in the next IOS6 update that we will be able to import 60d footage. But I am not holding my breath.
I can't see why 60D footage would not be possible on the ipad3. It is the same amount of data bits. 1280x720 60p vs 1920x1080 30p.

  • How can I open email attachments from an Exchange server?

  • How do I unblock email attachments so I can access and download?

I'm accessing my email from work via a secure website. Each time the email has an attachment that is type .xml or other extension the attachment is blocked. How do I unblock it so I can access and download the attachment?

    Hi Drew1005
It sounds like you have a security issue there. The agilent instrument driver that you are using requires access to some files that are restricted to Administrators on that machine. What you need to do is to give everyone full access to the instruments' driver directory. For example, if you are using LabVIEW, this will be in /labview/instr.lib. You will have to right click on the directory if you are in the Windows environment, choose properties and in the security tab, give Every One full access to the directory.
Let me know if you nee more help.

  • How do you watch 4:3 videos on widescreen?

I have a huge collection of 4:3 videos and would like to know the best method to watch these on a 16:9 screen. I heard that the best way to watch these videos is to use non-linear stretching. Does any player support this feature? I checked everywhere is smplayer but could not find this option anywhere. Is there any other alternative? Neither zooming nor plain stretching are satisfactory.

From what I know, there is currently no player that supports this feature. There may be some video editing software that would allow you to do that (not on the fly though). However, a quick (non-exhaustive) google search didn't bring anything up in that regard.
So, if you're really keen on that sort of stuff, you might want to invest in some video equipment (ie TV) that offers this functionality natively.
