I just bought a new Air, after some problems that support can't figure out and learning that Maverick won't sync my contacts and calandar without going to the cloud, I want to return it. I've transfered all data back to old Air, now want to wipe the new one clean, help?

No go to dictionary objects --> copy --> give new Ztable in to table text.

As I said in your other post, it's best to restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media.
Tell us which Satellite L655 you have and we'll tell you how. There is a label on the bottom.

Oops -- the Mac's Operating System is Mountain Lion, not iOS. I will assume you mean delete all your information, but leave Mountain Lion.
To do that, you can reboot your computer holding down the "Command" and "R" keys at least till the Apple logo appears (6 or 7 seconds). Choose the recovery disk. You'll then be able to erase your hard drive using Disk Utility and then reload Mountain Lion.

Contact Apple (call AppleCare) and for a nominal fee the discs will be replaced. You can do that or purchase Snow Leopard (still availble from Apple for $20) and do an erase and install of OS X making the machine like a new machine.

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

If you have a computer with the current version of iTunes you can connect your iPhone 4s to your computer via the USB charging cable. You would then Sync / Backup your iPhone 4s to that computer via iTunes. After a successful backup is created you can then connect your iPhone 6 via the charging cable to the computer and iTunes and Restore that Backup to the new iPhone. You can always download any Apps you have purchased at no charge. If you don't have a computer / iTunes you can backup your iPhone 4s via WiFi and the Cloud. Then you can download that Backup to your New iPhone. This may be more difficult due to memory constraints on your iPhone.

How do I transfer all data from my old internal hard drive to a new internal hard drive? I have an iMac with a 320gb internal HD that is full and I am replacing it with a 2tb internal drive. I have several external drives; 1 tb, 2tb and 3 tb. The 2 tb is being used for Time Machine. Do I have to buy an enclosure? If so, where would I get an inexpensive one?
I also want to partition the new internal drive for Windows, and I'm not sure how much space to use for that. I plan to use Windows to check my work in PowerPoint created on my Mac for clients on PCs.

Do you already have Time Machine making backups onto the 2TB drive? If so, after you get the internal drive replaced, boot up into the recovery partition (hold down ⌘R) and restore the latest Time Machine backup that you have onto the new internal drive.
I recommend always having two backups. I'd use SuperDuper to make a complete clone of your internal drive onto an external drive in addition to having the Time Machine backup.
Boot Camp is what is used to make partitions for Windows. How much space to allocate depends on how much space you expect Windows to use up based on how you plan to use it.

You can restore the phone and when prompted to restore choose from icloud account. BUT MAKE SURE there is 1.) an icloud backup for your phone. 2.) you are using the same apple id.

Were you using iCloud? If you were, you can access all your stuff from iCloud.com and restore your phone to an icloud backup.
