Remove your email accounts from Mail. Quite Mail. Navigate to the /Home/Library/ folder. Locate the Mail folder and drag it to the Trash. Go to the Preferences folder and locate all preference files starting with "com.apple.mail" and drag them to the Trash. Go to the Containers folder and drag the two com.apple. mail related folders to the Trash.
Exposing the /Home/Library/ Folder
Pick one of the following methods:
A. This method will make the folder visible permanently. Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder and paste the following at the command prompt:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press RETURN.
B. Click on the Desktop, press the OPTION (⌥) button, select Library from the Finder's Go menu.
C. Select Go To Folder from the Finder's Go menu. Paste the following in the path field:
~/Library
Press the Go button.
Do not re-open Mail lest it attempt to re-populate all that information from iCloud.

How do I fully delete an email account from my Apple Mail app on my iMac?
When I go here: Mail > Preferences Mail > Accounts
I got the message that I needed to delete it from my Internet Accounts.
When I go here: System Preferences > Internet Accounts > select the account >
I cannot select or click the minus sign on the bottom left to delete the account because it does not appear in the list.
Yet the email account still shows up in my email logs with errors that it cannot connect.
The email account no longer appears in the left column where all my email accounts are in Apple Mail as I have deleted that domain and no longer use it, so the email was deleted at the server level. However, again, the email account still shows up in my email logs with errors that it cannot connect.
This is driving me bananas!

If you haven't already done so, please quit and relaunch Mail. See whether the account goes away.

I just bought the new iPad over the weekend. Restored from the old iPad backup - got everything moved onto the new one gave the old one to my daughter - wiped my 4 email accounts off of the old device and then she proceeded to delete all but about 3 apps from the thing. It had no effect on my new iPad.

I mistakenly downloaded most of my itunes library to my iphone during a "backup" and I do not want it on my Music app. How do I undo that. Delete all of the Music in that Music APP.......and or better yet, how do I delete that app if possible. Either or Solution will be acceptable and appreciated.

I had done that but the music was still in the App even though where you directed me, which I had already done thinking it would work, said no data. I finally found in itunes after re syncing to "On This iphone" on the top bar the "edit" command, then "slect all", then "delete". It re synced and all is gone. Guess there is a difference slightly from IOS 6 and 7 as that removed the data but not the music itself strangely enough. Thanks for responding.

I had an old computer that I was trying to sell and when I went to wipe it out before the buyer picked it up, I deleted all of the users on the device to get rid of my old files. Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If you check out page 44 of the iPod touch user guide, it says that to delete a song from an iPod touch with iOS 6.1, swipe the song, then tap Delete. This also works with Albums or Artists if you want to delete multiple songs at once.

I would like to start my Wiki again from emply blank content without having to reinstall the entire lion server.

Those terminal commands will wipe out all of the databases, not just the Wiki.
