How do images embeded in InDesign link when using Creative Cloud on more than two desktops?

If I am understanding your question correctly, you shouldn't have to worry about embedded images in InDesign. Once embedded, the image is stored within the file.
If you are wondering about linked images... InDesign will follow the path on your computer and, if it does not find the image, you will recieve a notification. Edit: To prevent this, I would suggest packaging your file using File > Package... This will create a folder with all of your fonts and linked graphics so that you need not worry about broken links. I just remembered that you cannot upload folders directly to Creative Cloud so a packaged folder wouldn't be very helpful unless you wanted to upload each file manually.
The best solution I see right now is to either embed the graphics in the document, or upload the images with your document to relink.

No. You do not need to go to 10.10, but it’s probably best to so to avoid this again for some time.
That said, any machine still running 10.6 has got to be pretty old and lacking power to run the new apps.

I create the Creative Cloud Library asset in illustrator and give it a name such as "camera-icon". It shows up in my Creative Cloud Library pane in Photoshop as "camera-icon". When I use that asset in Photoshop the layer is randomly named "a56bd81d-d81f-4815-82b3-5795d410b527". Why is this happening? Shouldn't that layer resolve the name back to "camera-icon" so that when I extract files for use in my application the naming convention is correct. Right now I have to manually rename that layer again. Is this a bug or have I just not done something correctly?

I think you have pasted the entire crash log. In case of such issues in future, please paste the error screenshot.
Seems to be a permission issue. Lets follow the below suggestions:
Solution 1: Rename the following folders on your machine:
'/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Profiles'
'/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Recommended'
Solution 2: Rename the following files:
'/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps/Media_db.db'
'/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps/pdb.db'
Make sure you dont touch caps.db under the same folder. Now run the installer again. Let me know if you need more help.

Please Run following commands on terminal on the machine (this will remove the corrupt fonts and should allow you to run the installer successfully) -
sudo mv "/Library/Fonts/ACaslonPro-Bold.otf" /tmp/
sudo mv "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SavedFonts/current/AdobeArabic-Bold.otf" /tmp/
sudo mv "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/HelpCfg/de_DE/goURL_lr_photoshop_de.csv" /tmp/

How to Add an image to an href link when using html

I am creating specific links that redirect to specific pages using java script and want to add an image instead of using text.   Here is an example of the anchor tag

This is a logout function that redirects to the home page. Not sure how to attach an img. I have uploaded the image to the ftp but cannot get it to work.
Is there a way to attach links using the current hyperlink tool in Muse or is there a way to load the image asset into muse.

Hi CSchonhaut,
There are two ways that I can suggest.
     1. Apply the fire image to the rollover of the Menu Item,
     2. Use the Composition Widget - tooltip. Place the trigger on the hyperlink and target behind it, so that once you hover the trigger, target with the fire image in it pops up.

You've not specified how you're generating the Excel file. Are you using POI? JExcel? What?

When using Creative Cloud (CC) with yearly subscription where are the programs downloaded to?

Hello to All. I'm ignorant of this and need to learn Adobe. I installed the CC on my tablet. When I install any of the programs (Ps, Lr, etc.), are these installing to the cloud or on my tablet's hard drive? If hard drive, I think I will run out of space. In my head I envision the CC as the gateway to the apps in the cloud this leaving the sizable programs in the cloud. Please let me know; I will truly appreciate it. Have a super day! ~ Karen (krkos)

You're allowed to activate the software for use on a maximum of two computers at the same time signing in to the Cloud with the same Adobe ID.

How can I increase the thumbnail size when using Safari to upload an image to a website?

I upload many images to multiple websites and when using Safari to upload these images, the thumbnails are so small I can barely make out what the image is. I can easily figure out how to increase the thumbnail size when viewing them in Finder and set the default to my liking, but I cannot seem to find a way to do this in Safari. The last topic I saw on this was form 2013 and have not seen any update. Is there a way to do this?

Delete all unused, invisible layers.
Sometimes zip compression is better than jpg compression (in the pdf output settings). Zip is lossless, and works better with non gradient colour or no images.
Flattening the image before you save it to pdf can reduce the file size if you are using jpg compression.
Post a preview of your pdf and we can comment further on how to reduce the file size.

I am a new Indesign user and a Creative Cloud member. I was using the Window/Pages drop down window to view my pages alphabetically or by page number and also to determine whether or not my JPEG files were sufficiently HI-Res for the printer. I don't know how I did it but somehow the window has changed so that now it does not have the alphabetical/numerical/Hi-Res information. It just shows the pages in a two page spread in numerical order. How can I restore the window so that I will be able to view the information as I did previously.

The pages panel is not the place where you see this information. You can customize the Links panel to show all sorts of things, including the page number, effective and actual ppi, and whether the link is OK or needs updating.

I talked to the developer of the db adapter - and he told me this feature will be available in BPEL PM 10.1.3 (which is supposed to be production later this year, and a public beta soon). If this is an emergency I would recommend going throug Oracle support and have them file an enhancement for 10.1.2.0.2
