How do Mac OS X Calendar Time Zone Reset?

OK. I seach the problem in this site and google. but, trubleshoot is always iOS.
i want delete Calender in Mac OS.Check the Time Zone support, add other time zone.
i want reset time zone. i live korea, i want see only korean stadard time. how do mac os x caldender time zone reset?
Help, please.

I am just going to give you examples of what I think you want to do.
This just shows you a list of my calendars in my iCloud account. Note the "Hide" to the right of the "iCloud"? That only appears when you hover the mouse over it.
This shows what happens with you click on the "Hide".
Notice that I've unchecked "The Boys" calendar? That makes all of the events that are located under "The Boys" to disappear.
This just shows what happens with I re-check "The Boys", note "Joo's Medication" is now showing on June 1 at 12PM?
This just shows what happens when you click "Calendars" that is next to the "+" in the gray area.
So any of my examples what you are thinking of?

  • IOS Calendar & Time Zone Choices

I use Time Zone Support on all my devices... Mac, iPhone and iPad. On the iOS devices, to change the calendar to a new time zone, I have to go to System Preferences/Mail, Contacts,Calendars/Time Zone Support and use the search field, going through the whole search proccess with a whole batch of International cities each time. Isn't there a way of having the obviously most used ones -- New York, Chicago, Denver, LA -- just stay there in the menu choice? Or better still, simply Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific. How 'bout "Add to Favorites..." Or something. This is in need of some real Apple usability. Or am I missing something?

  • Calendar time zone on iOS 7

the time zone has disappearead on the calendar after updating to ios 7, how can it be defined? I travel a lot and this feature was very helpful in avoiding errors.

You have to enable Time Zone Support under Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Time Zone Support (in the Calendars section at the bottom).  If you enable the setting while you are in the middle of creating an event, you have to cancel and re-create it.
Now, when you create a new Calendar entry, it will have a Time Zone field under the End time setting.

  • Iphone 4s exchange calendar time zones

I have a user with an iphone 4s and the time zones are not matching up when entering calendar events into Outlook (synching via Exchange on the iphone). all events entered into the outlook calendar are set to eastern time zones and we are in st. louis (central time zone). However, our server is hosted in the eastern time zone. Now, our hosting provider has set the time zone of our server to the central time zone so that should take care of the server side. what other things can we check to determine why the wrong time zone is being set?

    FOR CORRECT TIME ON CALENDAR:
Set both the time and your time zone on the Calendar Add Event page.
Set your time zone in Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar>Time Zone Support.
Set your time zone in Settings>General>Date and Time.

  • Time Zone resets to Cupertino - repeatedly

I noticed that the clocks showed incorrect times and then found that my time zone had been set to Cupertino - I live in Switzerland. I try resetting it many times but it still jumps back to Cupertino. Now I can't set alarms and many other things gets screwed up! I reset the phone once and got the latest build I guess of the iPhone 2.0 software.
How do I get back to the older version? Is there a fix for this problem?

"mee too". I don't have a solution, just the same problem with more data.
I believe that the problems began when I updated to itunes 9.
two iphone 3gs, one US at&t, one French Bouygtel. same apps on both.
two different macbook pros running os10.5.8, itunes 9.0.2
    variables:
at&t phone - (date & time: set automatically: off, time zone set manually to Paris)
french phone - (auto set function does not exist, time zone set manually to Paris)
laptops - itunes (preferences:devices: Prevent ipods and iphones from syncing automatically is checked) computer timezone set to Dallas)
as soon as a usb connection (either mpb) is made and itunes recognizes either phone (before syncing), the phone time zone changes to match the computer (phone time zone shows Houston).
    other info:
on the at&t phone if "date and time:set automatically" is on, the problem does not occur. the phone remains slaved to the network time signal.
if itunes is not running when the usb connection is made, the problem does not occur. as soon as itunes launches, the time zone resets as before (even before syncing).
apple tech support did not have any solutions. if you have any additional input, please let me know.

  • How to "In Effect" Turn Off Time Zone on iCal AND main computer

I am hopeful that this will help those of us who don't want to have any form of Time Zone on our computers or iCal. I read some of the other posts and see that it does not appear an option to completely turn off all Time Zones on the computer and iCal.
What I am thinking about doing, is trying to "Trick" my computer & ical into thinking it doesn't ever go anywhere and thus leaves all of my appointments where they are - no matter what time zone I am actually in.
I hope those of you more knowledgable can please help me see if this will work, or not?
I am hoping that by leaving Time Zone Support turned "Off" in iCal and leaving my computer at a 'manual' Mountain Time Zone (meaning I don't have it set to have it automatically set to the right time - I will set it manually), my appointments will stay put (not move around 8 hours when I go to Italy &/or back to the US)?
I can set the time "manually" to the correct time when I am in either US or Italy so my computer will reflect the current time, but still be set in Mountain Time Zone? Will the alarms still work on calendar events?
The only drawback I can see so far, is that all of the times on emails are messed up (i.e., off by 8 hours) when I am actually in Italy because I still do have the main computer time zone set as Mountain Time - US.
I am willing to live with this (I think?) if it leaves my appointment times alone.
Someone on a similar thread had wanted iCal to function like a paper planner - that is exactly what I am looking for as well! (it looked like that thread was a bit older, so that's why I posted this new question. It is my first on this type of forum, so forgive me if I am doing something wrong - and please advise! :~)
    PowerBook G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

I am being driven crazy by, what I suppose to be, the same issue. I have used the Time Zone Support feature to somewhat limited success.
I frequently travel between different time zones am confused on how to set up iCal to show the times of my events *in the place where they occur*. When I am in LA and I have a concert in Chicago later in the week, I don't need to know what time the Chicago concert is in LA.
Syncing my Treo 650 adds another problem. Publishing the calendars adds another as the published times are not listed in the time zone where the events occur but rather what time zone my laptop is in.
This seems simple to me, but I may be missing something. Here are my wishes:
    1. As I travel with my MacBook Pro that I can change my Date and Time preference to actually list the time zone where I am. Easily done...but...
    2. That the event times in iCal are unaffected by the changing of the Date and Time preference adjustment...(after all the concert in Chicago is still at 3pm on Friday, even if I am in Tokyo on Monday. I need to know the time of the Chicago concert in Chicago time, not Tokyo.)
    3. That calendars that I publish list the time in the place where the event occurs. I have students that need to know their lesson times but are consantly confused because the published times reflect whatever time zone I happen to be in...not where the lessons take place.
    4. That when I sync my Treo the event times automatically adjust to whichever time zome the treo picks up off the network time server. When I land in a new time zone, I need to know the the rehearsal starts at 10, in the city where I have just arrived.
I have recently switched to the Apple PIM apps from Entourage...where, if I never changed the time zone, everything was fine.
Sorry for the longish cry for help.
    Thanks

  • How can I change the default time zone in ICloud?

I'm in the UK but the only ICloud time zone I'm offered is the Pacific.  I'd be grateful for suggestions on how to sync my calendar in the week view with BST. At present the nearest I can get is the Azores.
    Thanks.

Log into icloud.com, in the  account setting click onto the timezone.
click onto the map close to your home town.
Press the button below the map for a full list of time zones at the same meridian/longitude and select the closest city.

  • Calendar time zones droid2 global

Exported Outlook 2002 mountain standard time calendar to Gmail calendar, also mountain standard, but appointments come in as central time. Same on my device. How do I get appointments on Gmail desktop and device to show mountain standard?

I have provided instructions below on how to set your time zone to mountain standard time on your Motorola Droid 2:
From the home screen, select the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
    Select Settings.
    Select Date & time.
To use network provided date & time values select Automatic.
Enabled when a green check mark is present.
    Select Set date.
Adjust the date then select Set.
    Select Select time zone.
    Select the time zone.
    Select Set time.
Adjust the time then select Set.
If desired, select Use 24-hour format.
Enabled when a green check mark is present.
    Select Select date format.
    Select the date format.

  • Notification time zone different than calendar time zone

    On the iPad...
Notification of a calendar event is displayed in Eastern time zone while the calendar event is scheduled in Central time zone.
Notifications and Calendar are both set to automatic.
How does one get Notifications to display Calendar events as Central time zone?
The MacBook Pro displays both Notifications and Calendar events as Central time zone.

"srvctl setenv database -d fawms -t TZ=CST6CDT" but it didn't work. The DB. is taken the timezone CST5CDT."
As long as you set it the timezone that way - should be good -
Just remember though if you logged in as SYS - you will not see the timezone change from your command at the crs level

  • How can I fix my calendar times? They are 1 hour early after daylight savings.

After my iPhone automatically changed to daylight savings times, it also made my calendar events 1 hour ealier than they should be. After checking threads I have double checked time zone support is on and matches my timezone in date and time. I sync with Outlook 2010 and the times are still correct here and I have tried to replace information on the iPhone with informqation from outlook, but this hasn't worked. Solutions?

Outlook (ver 2003 in my case but am sure many other versions...) and iPhone calendars cannot and will not share events with any degree of integrity regards their schedulling when synchronised via iTunes - specifically: events (recurring or otherwise) that are created PRIOR to a Daylight Savings Time event (in the UK our 2 events this year are March 25th and October 28th).
When transferred to the iPhone calendar during the sync process these events appear to be "altered" on all the incidences they appear AFTER a DST event and are displayed as either an hour ahead or behind their equivalent events within the Outlook calendar that they are supposed to be mirroring. iOS is effectively allocating these daylight-saved events a unique Time Zone of their own - this should NOT be happening.
    Real life examples:
Weekly timed event (0900hrs-1100hrs) was created on February 5th to run every week until further notice... This displays correctly in Outlook for ALL instances - e.g. 0900hrs-1100hrs and irrespective of how far ahead you check the calendar... on iPhone calendar it displays correctly UNTIL March 25th - thereafter it is showing as timed at 1000hrs-1200hrs.This is massively frustrating... Changing the iPhone Time Zone from what should be the proper local "London" zone (in my case) to UTC I found cured the problem for these "orphans" when the clocks went back an hour last October - but this was a false cure and unfortunately many people discussing similar "cures" within these forums have not taken the trouble to examine the iPhone calendar in more detail and look either back to prev DST event date or forwards to the next DST event date because if they did they would find that all the calendar entries covering those periods will have been shifted by an hour.
One-off timed events - with or without alarms... These too get pushed forward an hour (post March 25th) - I missed a dentist appointment the other week because of this particular issue. I had actually planned the appointment months ago and at that time input it in iPhone calendar at the correct time/date. Outlook and/or the iPhone (or both in combination) somehow "marked" this appointment as a GMT appointment. When clocks went forward - this GMT "attribute" was preserved and applied to it - effectively the appointment was modified (without any authorisation/involvement on my part) and rescheduled to appear an hour later. Outrageous! Recurring alarmed events suffer same problem - with the alarms sounding an hour later of course.
I have tried all the so-called "fixes" to be found within these discussion groups and others all around the web and NONE have actually worked. Unfortunately, as I stated earlier, I suspect a lot of the reported "fixes" were premature annoucements from people who may not have their Outlook sync parameters set over a long enough time period for them to be able to view events several months ahead or behind and therefore see what happens to them AFTER the clock-change dates.
I need to determine which application is screwing this all up - is it Outlook or is it iOS? The fact of the matter is - I was able to use a Windows Mobile device that synced with Outlook 2003 for several years WITHOUT this issue. All that happened when DST event came along was the clock either went forwards or backwards - the events themselves were not interferred with and remained showing at the times they were originally set for - what could be simpler??
If I were planning to use the iPhone calendar on its own - without wanting to syncronise it with Outlook - I would not be here writing this post - but I purchased this device on the basis that Apple said it would be compatible with Outlook - it was a long thought-out decision as I was moving away from a Windows Mobile environment and ability to sync with Outlook was the only feature I needed to work.
The Outlook calendar sync feature is broken and has been for at least 3/4 years judging by the many reports to be found on the web. This needs fixing - NOW.

  • Vista Calendar time zone shift

    Windows Vista, current updates
    Nokia PC Suite 6.85.14.1
    Phone is Nokia 6120c
    Connected by USB
Vista is set to timezone (GMT+10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney
    Phone is set to
    Time Zone: Local time
    Network operator time: Auto-update
    Sync settings are
    Contacts to Windows Contacts
    Calendar to Windows Calendar
    The problem:
A calendar item is entered on the phone. When it is synchronised to the computer, the appointment appears in Windows Calendar with a time 10 hours later.
A calendar item is entered on Windows Calendar. When it is synchronised to the phone, the phone shows it at the correct time.
After you synchronise a few times, a calendar appointment appears can appear multiple times with +10 hour, +20 hour etc.
What needs to be done to make the phone / Nokia PC Suite and Windows Calendar think they are using the same time zone, instead of shifting all phone calendar appointments by 10 hours when synchronising?

I have exactly the same problem. My N80 syncs OK with Mac OSX iCal but gets confused by Vista's calendar.
Changing the recurring items in Windows Calendar to have a time zone of "floating" seemed to help a little - they are now only 1 hour out instead of 10(or 11).
It seems that the experts in the northern hemisphere are not interested in this problem at this time of year. Maybe we should post the problem again in a few months.

  • My calendar time zones are misbehaving!

I've tried turning on and off airplane mode, restarting, and going in and out of time zone support.
The whole reason I have a smartphone is to track my calendar!
This was happening before I upgraded to iOS6,
but at least before I could manage to fix it.
Now it just wont get it right -
it thinks I'm stuck on the east coast.

I don't have a real solution either. When I'm travelling I turn off automatic time zone changes, stay in my original time zone and fix the time manually. But I agree, it is not understandable at all how someone can program this in such an awkward way and not fix it in years.

    Michael

  • E70 calendar & time zones

    Here's a scenario:
    - I'm working at my office in Helsinki
    - I've got a meeting in, say, San Francisco on 10.12. at 14:00
    - I enter the meeting on the calendar 10.12. 14:00
    - I travel to US
    - I change the clock time zone to San Francisco (10 hours behind
    Helsinki)
    - The calendar says that the entries have been updated
    - My meeting is now 10.12. 4:00 AM
How do I turn off the completely catastrophic calendar time updates? This renders the handy time zone support completely useless.
Please don't even try to say that I should have scheduled the meeting at 11.12. 0:00 in the first place.
    Thanks,
    harri

I have the same problem with my E63.
I tried finding a practical way. I tried being raving mad about this... and it did not help.
The only way I found say for plane schedule is. for example.
put dep lon at LON time and put in text something like dep LON at 12:00
change you phone time to say Cairo. Put the time of arrival in the appointment time but put in the text as well (ex: arrival Cairo 15:50 12/4/11) (same for you departure )
switch the phone to next destination time. say HKG, put you appointment at the local time but put the time also in the text. (ex: arrival HKG 03:30 pm.....//. meeting with HQ HKG at 11:30 am.)
Then switch you phone back to London time.
The only alternative is the same but with correcting the appointment time mentally to translate it in LON time before entering, but still mentionning the actual local time in the text for permanent reference.
Thsi is a very time consuming process, prone to making errors. But it is the only way I could find around this absurdity.
Ta least the alarms will be ringing at the right time, and the references will be in the text and not subject to changes by the phone, and you can keep automatic time change.
