One of two things usually. Less often charger is faulty, try another charger. Most often the plug symbol in this situation indicates faulty battery.
Try a Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone restarts itself, ignore the "slide to power off" let iPhone restart itself.

the socalled timestamp is within the imports.. if you select a clip in iM and hit the key combo Apple-I, you can see recording time and date.
unfortunately, this info isn't delivered to any software. Bruce Gee (geethree.com, excellent plug-in maker) told us, there's no 'API' he could use for such a feature...

Pop-up menus contain fixed values in Numbers. You might be able to do this using Steppers or sliders. These produce a numerical result, which could be used to direct a second slider or stepper's output to a specific column or table.
If you can provide a map of the structure of your list(s), there may be someone here able to take on the task of constructing the tools to do the job.

How do I show and hide a popup message by the program

Hi,
I've the following problem. Sometime the program must wait to open a seriel port. On slow machines, this could take some seconds.
During this time I'll display a popup message with the message "please, be patient....".
After the port is open, the message should be hide by the program.
JOptionPane could be good, but without a "OK" button. Everthing should be controlled by the program.
I would implement the Runnable interface for the showing of the popup message.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You can use a JDialog... this will act like JOptionPane, but you can put on it whatever components you like... so no OK button!
For example:

I need to show a popup message on the click of a button.
On the click of the button I have to submit the page and do some database validation with the data entered by the user on that page.
Depending on the validation I have to give a popup which will have a value that is fetched from tha database.
I can show a popup by writing the below given code in the processRequest of my CO
OASubmitButtonBean registerbutton = (OASubmitButtonBean)oawebbean.findChildRecursive("RegisterButton");
registerbutton.setOnClick("alert('show an alert')");
But I cannot perform the database validation(using a stored procedure) in the processRequest.
I am performing the validation in the processFormRequest
Also I am not able to show the value fetched from the database in the popup using the above alert.
Please send me the code.

okay so the popup window would be some information window, where the user, maybe after reviewing the information presses close and closes the window.
i would do this using PPR, have a small content region or some other small region(which supports PPR), which would showup in some section of the screen when the user performs the desired action, and have a close button in the region, pressing close would fire PPR again and hide this region.
There maybe variety of solutions such as this depending on the requirement.

i am trying to use the usb for the xbox and it keeps asking me to format so i just need to move the files from the usb untill it is all done

where on my computer am I suppose to make the individual picture files and have them to upload on my ipod touch.... I do have a photo library on my computer, but in the photo tab in itunes for the ipod touch and there is nothing checked for syncing, cause when I do check it it always says its going to replace everything i have in my photo library on my ipod touch..... So how am i suppose to have it checked and have it NOT replace pictures on it????
Also I cannot make more photo albums into my ipod touch, it just replaces the one album every time....
I am very frustrated cause I have tried the manuals and the apple support help etc and nothing pertains to my exact issue.....

HT4528 About 30 minutes ago, my iphone 4 screen just went white. It still shows the time, signal and battery at the top, but everything else is white. I can't receive calls/text messages. My phone will not lock or turnoff, but it will charge. HELP!!

I don't know what to do. My iPhone 4 just all of a sudden had a blank white screen. It still shows the bar at the top with the signal, time, and battery life. But the rest of the screen is white. If I touch the screen it acts like it's selecting something and gives me the choice to "Copy". It will still charge when I plug it up, but i cannot turn it off or lock the screen. I tried leaving it alone for awhile to see if it will lock on its own, like it normally would, and all it does is dim the screen. I guess im going to try to just let it die, and then see what happens, but if anyone else has any suggestions (other than taking it in to be looked at or getting a new phone) I would greatly appreciate it!

Any number of things could have caused the phone to do this. If after the reset you are experiencing additional problems, the next step in the troubleshooting process is a restore from a backup. Make sure you have one before you start the restore process. If that does not improve things, then you may have to restore as a new device. Remember, restoring as a new device will delete all data off the phone. Make sure all of your pictures are imported to the computer and all other data is synced to supported applications on the computer before restoring as new. Try to find a way to reformat your iPod, again it does not matter which format (FAT32, NTFS or HFS+) you choose, the key is to erase the corrupted system files on the iPod. Reboot your computer at the normal way, connect your iPod back with it, open the iPod updater, and hopefully your iPod will appear there for the Restore.

1. . Disconnecting the Hard Drive and battery inside the iPod – Warning !! Your iPod warranty will be waived once you open the iPod.
In Hong Kong there are some electronic shops offering an iPod service for Sad iPod, the first thing they do is to open up the iPod’s case and disconnecting the battery and the Hard Drive from the main board of the iPod. Wait for 5-10 minutes and reconnecting them back. The reason behind which I can think of is to do a fully reset of a processor of the iPod. In case you want do it itself and you believe that you are good on fixing the electronics devices and have experience to deal with small bits of electronic parts, then you can read the following of how to open the iPod case for battery and HDD replacement (with Quicktimes)

Have I tried these myself? No, I am afraid to do it myself as I am squeamish about tinkering inside electronic devices, I have few experiences that either I broke the parts (which are normally tiny or fragile) or failed to put the parts back to the main case. Therefore, I agree with suggestion to have it fixed by a Pro.
