How do we keep the panels and the icons windows open at the same time?

Hi, I was watching a tutorial and noticed that he had the panels and icons window open at the same time as seen in this picture:
When ever I click the arrow on the right it removes one of these panels from my view.
How do I do this?

Navigator to layers is a 2nd column. The double arrow is bascially a collapse button. In the screenshot you show has column 1 of windows is collpased, and column 2 is uncollapsed.

Double click on the picture of the HD on your desktop, then look at the bottom of the window that opens.
First check the S.M.A.R.T. status on your HD: Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility > in the panel at left, select the first item in the list/your HD mechanism > look atthe bottom of the main window next to S.M.A.R.T. status and see if it says “Verified” or something more ominous like “Failing.”
If S.M.A.R.T.status is "Verified," run Repair Disk: Boot from install disc (insert disc > restart > immediately hold down c key and keep holding it until you see “Preparing Installation”) > at first screen select the language and click Continue > click on the Utilities Menu in the menu bar > open Disk Utility > select your HD in the panel on the left side > click Repair Disk at bottom of main window. Run this at least twice, and keep running it until it says “appears ok” twice in a row. If that doesn’t happen, you may need a stronger utility such as DiskWarrior or if the directory is damaged beyond repair, you may need to reinstall the OS, or you may have a damaged HD (repair utilities can only repair the directory structure, not the HD itself). When this is finished, quit Disk Utility, quit the installer, and restart. Once booted normally, go to Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility and run Repair Permissions.

I need to move home and refresh icons back to the left. I uninstalled Firefox 4 and reinstalled Firefox 6 and the home and refresh icons are still on the left. Help! (I have tendonitis and this makes my wrist move too far.)

You can right-click on the "Home" button and choose "Customize," then drag all of the icons (including Home and Reload) to where you want them.

This problem has been reported a few times. The solution is to install any new App say a free one. This seems to fix whatever has gone wrong.

There is a difference between how PE8 handles the panel and bin with Windows 7 and Vista.

In Vista, the panel bin closes wehen unchecked in the Wndows menu. The same procedure in Windows 7 collapses the panel. Or am I wrong?

getContentPane().getComponents() can be used, only if i know that new class name thats been poped up when the event happens to that main window....

How to both keep hyperlinks (Indd) and make it impossible to adjust the PDF document in Acrobat 9?

I created an Indesign (CS6) document with hyperlinks and exported it as a PDF document (Export -> Adobe PDF (interactive)).
I made 2 versions of the document. 1 full version and 1 light version (here some parts of the document are made invissible by adding white blocks over parts of the text/pictures). When opening the light PDF document in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, it is still possible to remove those blocks. What can I do to both keep the hyperlinks working and make it imposible to remove blocks or adjust the light document in any other way?
Hope someone can help me with this.

Thanks for your answer. With different (legal and illegal) programs you can (easily) remove passwords or change the document in a way so that it can be adjusted. I am afraid this is not the solution I am looking for.

Instead of removing the music from the cloud or the iTunes library why not shuffle your music using a Smart Playlist which excludes the holiday music, or tracks that are not checked. For example, use this very simple Smart Playlist:

But, I want to make sure that we are together on the details. This is my understanding of what you have written. Please review and let me
know if I am misinterpreting anything that you have written.
You have a video created in Windows Movie Maker.
How did you output the video from Windows Movie Maker...wmv or mp4, what was the frame size and frame rate of that export?
Next you import that video into Premiere Elements 12 (can we assume that this is on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit?)
From what you wrote, you have applied a pan and zoom effect to your video in Premiere Elements.
Now you go to export the Premiere Elements 12 Timeline content with your video with the pan and zoom applied.
But, the pan and zoom effect is not seen in playback of the export.
Is all of the above correct so far?
If so....we are going to need some more details from you...
a. What is the project preset that you or the project are setting to match the properties of the video coming from Movie maker? See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Rate, and Pixel Aspect Ratio even if the fields look grayed out.
b. Are you applying the pan and zoom effect with the Pan and Zoom Tool, fx Effects Presets, or keyframing the Scale (for Zoom) and
Position (for Pan) in the Motion Panel expanded?
c. What are you selecting as your export in Publish+Share/. Please give details...are you using default settings or customizing the export
setting under the Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab of the preset selected?
I am suspecting some sort of mismatch of your project settings or some problems with working with the Pan and Zoom tool. I need
your answers to help me help you. If I have written anything that you do not understand, please let me know. I will re-write if necessary
so that we are in sync to resolve the issue.

wow, that was a quick reply. lol. but i have removed everything. I wasn't even able to get iTunes on my computer for a little while. i kept getting errors on that. Now it's saying that the required software isn't installed. Hmm, could it be referring to Apple Mobile Device Support? That is supposed to be installed with when iTunes gets installed right? I would suggest you to uninstall Adobe Reader using the cleaner tool and then re-install the latest version.
