How do we know who apple people are on discussions?
I'd like to know how we can recognise apple staff on the discussions, thanks for all your help.
On the old discussion software, they had distinctive avatars and identifiers under the avatars. They could have adopted distinctive avatars with the new forum software but they didn't. The reason that they didn't, I assume, is because the new software allows secondary icons to identify users. Every level had its own icon, the Hosts had their own icon, and Apple employees had theirs. This identification system was temporarily disabled along with the rest of the levels and reputations because of the performance hit that was being caused. It may come back if they can fix the performance problems.
Until then, Hosts and Apple employees have been using text signatures, such as "Apple Discussions Host" to identify themselves. There may be Apple employees who have not gotten the word about the text signatures.
BTW, to see what I mean by the identification icons, look at how Jive has implemented this feature on their own support forums. On this forum page, look to the right in the box labeled "Legend".

The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

II'm constantly getting emails from Apple telling me my account has expired, I need to update my iTunes account, my account will be suspended if I don't update deta, etc. how do I know if this it's real? It's been going on for years and I've always ignored it without anything happening to my account (I can still purchase apps, movies and music) but seeing as i get an email at least once a week I'm really sick of it and want it to stop.
Any ideas? I don't open the emails or click on links which is why I think I've been fine.It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message to Apple.

How do I know if the apps are free or not if I already have them on my ipad?? I have an ipad and it was open by another person's Apple ID and all the applications too. Now I have change the Apple ID by my name and I wanted to update the apps and I can't remember if the apps were free or not, and I don't want to delete them without knowing if they are free.
When you buy an app the app is permanently allocated to the AppleID account you bought it through. You can then download that app on up to five devices, as many times as you want, without buying it again. So deleting an App is not a big problem, you just log into your account in iTunes again, find the app, and instead of showing you a 'BUY' button it shows you a 'DOWNLOAD' or 'INSTALL' button.
If you change the AppleID account you use in your iPad then Apple will think you sold the iPad to someone else, and all the apps with that name will stop working anyway.
But you can change the name and email address for an AppleID account, without moving to a new AppleID account, by following these instructions:

There are no rules or guidelines for finding the table but i will share some of the tips used generally.........but i am not sure if we can do it for a tree structure..but try anyways....
Double click on the structure name seen on the F1 pop up window...
in the structure screen, try to analyse the field which is very important something like a key in that set of fields or do the same for the fields which we feel are more important,then click on the domain for that field....once in the domain..click on the "where used list for the domain" on the top...
it will display a pop up -> select only "table" and then press "Tick/OK"..A list will be displayed with the data element and table name ..from this we need to find out the right one we need either by going for text of the table or going through each and every one
It takes time but does the job.....

How do i know if both cameras are water damaged
i dropped my ipod in the toilet. it was in the water for about 3-5 seconds. EVERYTHING works just fine EXCEPT the camera. my ipod was dead when i dropped it in the water but it turned on when it was in the water. i dont know how to tell if both camera's are broke or not. when i go to the camera it just goes to the shutter thing and freezes. but when i go on instagram or anything where i can turn the camera, it doesnt turn. i'm not sure if it doesnt turn because the front camera is broke too or not. it's sitting in rice but i dont know weather to send it in right away or what.
