im trying to restore my iPod. How do i get my data back on it from the Icloud ?

To restore from and iCloud backup you have to go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings (which will erase the iPad), then go back through the setup again process as you did when it was new. When given the option, choose to Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your external charger as restoring from an iCloud backup can take quite a while to complete.

i tried to make a list item without any values assigned to it...but i got the below error.

then according to some docs, i tried the the following for the trigger

for list items you need to values in the record group, one is the shown value and one is the returned value.
Check out the online help for the populate_list built-in.
You'll need something like select ename,ename from emp as the record group query.

To be honest, that sounds about right.
For example on my 8Mbps (megbits) down service I get around 0.4Mbps upload. That is the equivalent of (very approximately) 3Mb (megabytes) per minute or 180Mb per hour. Over 7 hours that would be just over 1Gb.
Obviously, it all depends on your connection speed, but that is certainly what I would expect, and that is why I use my computer for backing up, not iCloud. So much quicker.

There isn't currently any iCloud music streaming, if that what you mean.
iTunes Match will be coming, probably late October, early November. That will provide streaming.
If your just talking about music you bought on, say, your iPhone and want it to appear on your Mac, go into iTunes preferences (on your Mac), click the "Store" icon and make sure that Automatic Downloads are turned on. That will keep your Mac iTunes library up to date when you buy on your iDevice.
If you've got older stuff that you need to download, you can go into your Purchased section in iTunes and click on "Download Previous Purchases" which should show you everything you've bought. You can re-download from there.

How do you remove purchased songs from the iCloud?

There are a bunch of songs that I have bought over the years that I have no intention of listening to again. Since I have signed up for iTunes Match, they now all appear again on all my devices that I use the iCloud on... Apple says that I can simply go into my "purchased" list on iTunes and hide them, but that does not work as they still show up... what am I doing wrong, or how do I really accomplish this? Once you have a secure backup of your Song files you can simply delete a Song, selecting the option to remove from iCloud.
It is worth turning off all other libraries and devices associated with the same Apple Id / iTunes Match service first.
Once the deletion request is confirmed, 'Update iTunes Match', close your local library - allow 20 - 30 mins for synchronisation across the Apple infrastructure, restart the library and confirm that the Songs have really gone - once confirmed you can start the other libraries and iDevices - the deletions will be applied to all.
A second library is an easy way to store all your 'deleted from iCloud' Songs but it is not necessary.

How do you access data on a Time Machine backup for a different computer?

The hard disk on my daughter's computer is having problems - it may be broken. If so, it may take a while to get the computer working again.
The information on the disk has been backed up to our Time Capsule using Time Machine. I can see the backup file sitting on the server.
How can I get access to the information in the file from my computer?
I have read that it is possible to browse other user's backup files from Time Machine by holding the Option key when clicking on the Time Machine icon in the status bar. This produces the menu choice "Browse other backup discs ...". When I select that option, I am given a choice of backup files, including my own file and my daughter's file. When I select my daughter's file, I go into Time Machine.
However, there is no data available to me. There is no timeline, and the windows behind the current finder window are all black. The same thing happens if I select my own backup file. (Entering Time Machine the normal way works fine.)
So, as far as I can tell, the "Browse other backup discs..." option is non-functional.
Is there some other way to access the data in that file?
I'm also concerned that when I finally get her computer working again, which may involve erasing the disk and re-installing the OS, or perhaps even replacing the disk entirely, that the repaired computer won't be able to access her backup file because I might not be able to recreate here username/uid with the same credentials as originally setup.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, following the directions on that page does not help.
As I interpret it, I should be following the steps in the green box. I can get to the point where I am asked to select a backup file, and my daughter's backup file is one of the options. When I select that file, I am taken to the Star Wars interface.
In that interface, I can see a finder window in front. Behind that finder window are a series of other finder windows, as one would expect in the interface, but instead of being normal finder windows, they are simply black rectanges of the same size. I can browse within the front finder window, but that browsing is limited to the contents of my computer.
However, I did discover something interesting. If I follow the instructions in the pink box, which tells how to mount the disk image of the backup file, I am able to browse within the mounted backup file using a Finder window without entering TimeMachine at all. (Which to me is a big plus, since I think that the "Star Wars" interface is very bad.)
Of course, my daughter's file system is a mess. I'm going to have to give her some organizing advice. I'll also have to sit down with her after school to see if we can access the files that she needs.
Bottom line - I don't know at this point whether this is going to work, but mounting the backup file seems to have produced some progress.

How do you access data within a public class?

This is my problem. I have a class which is used to take in user input. All methods and variables are public becuase I want to replicate this class over and over. (like a word processor that can have many open documents).
What I want to be able to do is when I click on a saveAll toolBar icon not in the class but separate, I want to be able to tell each class that I have instanced to save it's data. Is this possible when I'm using public methods and variables? I don't think getting each class to listen for the mouse click on the saveAll icon is the way to go, for I will have all classes trying to save at the same time.
Any suggestions greatly welcomed as I can't figure this out.

Well, under special circumstances, you might consider having a desktop (the contentpane of your frame should be a desktop), and your input classes (which are like documents in the word processor) should be internal frames. The menu belongs to the frame. Now when the user selects a menu item, you may use the getAllFrames[] method of the desktop pane to retrieve all of your internal frames.
Then it needs no extra efforts on your part to keep track your document classes; instead, you have to add or remove your documents to/from the desktop. That is, when a document is closing, it must remove itself from the desktop.

Secondly you seem to be getting storage capacity/app size mixed up with RAM. They are two different things. The 64GB you have on your iPad is for actual storage of content whether it be apps, books, music, podcasts, video etc. RAM is the volatile memory that is used during the running of the iPad including the apps.
The system requirements including the amount of RAM needed to run are not simply because unlike computers all iPads are the same regards the internal system specs. The only differences being the actual storage capacity and whether they have 3G capability or not.
If you get an error message regards lack of system memory or RAM then doing a reset may help clear this problem. Unfortunately some developers do not optimise their apps properly for the iPad and it's not the first time an app has not run or crashed due to a lack of RAM. The best thing to do is to report it to the developer using the link on their iTunes app page.
Regards memory leaks these do occur with both software on computers as well as apps on the iPad and iPhone. These are also due to badly designed apps or software and would need to be fixed by the developers.

What data do you want to transfer ? Music, films, tv shows, photos and ibooks are done by syncing in iTunes (for which there is some help in the iPad manual which can be downloaded from here http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad). Documents can also be done via iTunes, but it depends upon the app and the transfer method(s) that it supports e.g. file sharing via the bottom of the device's apps tab on your computer's iTunes, via your wifi network, cloud services, email attachments etc
Edit : have you got the Keynote app on your iPad, or any other app that supports keynote presentations ? Without a 'suporting' app you can't store a document/file on the iPad (unlike computers files have to be stored within an app)..
