How do you access updates to apps from the App store after changing to a new ID because the password on the old ID was changed and you don't know what it is now?
How do you access updates to apps from the App store after changing to a new ID because the password on the old ID was changed by the former husband and you don't know what it is now? And you set up your own new ID and account but can NOT access the updates, from the App store for the many apps that you already have, because they require that you sign in with that former now inaccessible ID and account and password? Call it a problem of modern times and changing relationships, if you want to be charitable.
So I guess it will only be new apps that I download that are allowed to give me their updates while 13 updates wait for me on an ID I can no longer access.

I was gave an Apple iPod Touch that was disabled and I called the Apple store and they emailed me how to fix it but now when i plug it up to the PC it's saying that the iPod is unable to be recognized and I don't know what to do?

The music files, were they bought from your iTunes account or did someone gift them to you after buying from the iTunes account? If they are yours you can download them again if you clear or de-authorise the ipod, it has to be done by whoever gave you the ipod to do this (the registered owner). If they were bought for you on another itunes account I don't think Apple let you use them as they are copyrighted and they don't belong to you, they belong to the person who bought them. If the music files where ripped from music cd's then click and drag them to a new folder on your desktop and have the person who gave you the ipod to de-authorise and unregister it. Then you re register it and put your files back from your desktop folder in your iTunes folder and synch. Hopefully that would work. Any files which you did not buy, I would not know how get around this, best bet is to take it to you nearest Apple Store and explain that they were gifted to you and ask how you can use them. The best way to gift music files is to buy the gift tokens and give these. Hope above helps. -

I believe its an auth error. If you tried signing in and out of the app store and downloading a free app (typical fixes) and it persists, try downloading the updates manually. If youre trying to get the Mountain Lion updates the link for 10.8.1 is here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1571 and if you already have 10.8.1 and youre trying to update to 10.8.2 the link is here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1580 a supplemental update came for the 10.8.2 which can be found here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1600
Like I said before, the error isnt that your software or hard drive is corrupt, it has to do with your AppleID authenticating the download, especially because OS updates are part of the Mac App Store. If you know your way around your system libraries or root libraries you can possibly fix it by deleting specific files that may be corrupted, otherwise you're going to want to back up your data and reinstall the OS.

I forgot my passlock and I don't know what to do now to unlock my ipod
I recently changed my passlock and I tried getting into my ipod but I couldn't remember my passcode. I tried several times and now after several times of my ipod being dessabled it says "Connect to itunes" on the screen. I've tried millions of websites,videos etc to try to find a way to unlock my ipod, but nothing seems to work or I might not be doing it right. Is there a way to unlock my divise without all my stuff getting wiped off? Please help!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.

With Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to 'Lock Rotation' have you then moved the switch on the right-hand side of the iPad above the volume control 'off' ?
Or with the switch set to control 'notification mute' you should be able to unlock rotation via the far left of the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. When making a photo book, my iPhoto freezes during uploading the book to the storey. I have attempted this 4 times now and I don't know what to do! I know the file size is massive due quantity of large image files, but I don't want to reduce the image file size and compromise quality in the book. How can I get past this?

Try to boot into Safe Mode and order this way, or sign into a different user account and try to order as a different user.
