How do you add a small video into the Presenter Panel on the top right

I'm using Presenter 7.01
I cannot seem to add a video of a taking head to the Presenter Panel.
I can add video to the main slide no problem but there does not seem to be any option to add video to the top right panel and then display a presentation slide for the duration of the video.
If I go into the Slide Properties, and click on the Slide, the Edit button stays greyed out. I can only get the Edit button when I choose multiple slides, but then the options are limited.
Any ideas please?

Adding THV is now done using 'Import Video' dialog. There is a small set of radio button to specify if you want the video on slide or on the the sidebar (top-left).

Hi. The updated to iOS 4 erased one of my albums where I had a photo of Mother Mary in green monochrome as my wallpaper (green and black look for the iPhone). How do I add a new album into Photo App, put the image in that album and set it again as my wallpaper using Setting App? Thank you in advance.
(I'm using iPhoto, 10.6.4 and iMac i7 (8GB))

You create a new album in iPhoto, put whatever pictures you want in it, and then resynch to iPhone. You cannot create albums on the iPhone

"Add Folder to Library" is still in the file menu, but you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the file menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:

I'm new to Dreamweaver, so please forgive me if this is a noob question. I've done some searching, but I can't seem to find a simple answer.
I'm a video editor building a new site for myself. I'd like to have some thumbnail-size videos that work as buttons to open a new page and play the full-size version. I can create these button-sized videos as either Quicktime or Flash and place them in an AP div to position them where I want. But how do I make them clickable? I can't seem to draw an image map over them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some of the folks here would discourage Flash navigation, but one way to do it easily would be to export your small movie from Premiere CS4 as an *.FLV or *.F4V. Start a new Flash document and make the Background color the same as the area on the Web page you want the video to appear. Import your video to the stage then create a new layer in Flash above the layer your video is on. Create a button in Flash. On the last of the four button key frames draw a colored rectangle. The color only represents the area that will be mouse sensitive and will not show over your video. Drag the button to the Stage and make sure the colored area (that will not show, as I mentioned) is large enough. Adjust if necessary. Give your button an instance name. Click the keyframe on the Flash timeline on the button layer and open the Action Script panel. Paste in (if monkey_bump is your instance name):

I wasn't trying to be smart @ss with the webpagesthatsuck URL. According to Vince, Flash navigation sucks.
One could be creative in Premiere by placing a PhotoShop "mat" over the video in Premiere prior to export. The PhotoShop document could have a transparent center and an outward color that matches the color of your website. This way you could have a custom shaped navigation video.

For my ski club, I'm making a short single 3 min video with footage from 3 different camera's. The video frames from one camera are 320 px by 280 px and the frames from the other two cameras are 640 px by 480 px and when shown full screen on a monitor, the footage from the two 640 px by 480 px cameras look OK (if not great) but the footage from the 320 px by 280 px is obviously grainy. I would like to embed the smaller into the larger at 50% so that the picture will be sharper, even though just filling up half the screen. Help please. With your Premiere Elements 10 Mac,
a. have you set your project preset for NTSC DV Standard
b. have you imported your 640 x 480 video into this NTSC DV Standard project via Get Media/Files and Folders and now have it on Video track 1.
c. have you then imported your 320 x 280 into this same project and placed it on Video track 2 above the Video track 1 content
d. have you then scaled the selected 320 x 280 on Video Track 2 using either
....Properties Palette/Motion Panel expanded and its Scale slider (check mark next to Constrain Proportions)
or
....Click on Monitor to bring up the bound box of the image and then clicking and dragging on one of the handles of the bounding box to scale the image
There are also some PiPs (Picture in Picture Effects) under Edit Header/Presets that you might want to explore. They are for 25% and 40%, but are adjustable.
Please let us know if any of the above worked for you or if you need supplemental information.

How do you put a youtube video into keynotes

Hi,
I'm doing a presentation using Keynotes and would like to put some you tube videos in it. How do I do that. I've searched in google, but can't find a method that works.

Here's what I just did, and it works:
1. Open Firefox, which already had DownloadHelper installed, went to youtube, tried to DL a video, didn't work. Strange, because I'm sure I'd DL'd youtube videos that way before.
2. Looked around on Firefox's site for other add-ons, and found *1-click YouTube Video Downloader 1.3*, DL'd and installed it, and read the directions.
3. Back to YouTube, clicked on a video, clicked on MP4 (immediately under the video window, on the right). The video DL'd with no problem.
So now I had this MP4 file on my Mac.
4. Opened KN, made a new test file, on the second slide: +Insert > Choose+, navigated to the MP4 file and inserted it.
5. In Inspector, I tried 2 different settings, one to start the video automatically after transition, the other to start on click. Both work fine.

How do you add personal movies/videos to iTunes

I have repeatedly tried to drag/drop my personal videos into itunes on my NEW iMac (mountain lion) with no success. They are .mov videos. It appears Apple is forcing you to purchase their products in order to get it into itunes to play on apple TV. I hope this is not the case.

Try importing them using File > Import to Library, more info here -> iTunes 11 for Mac: Import music and video already on your computer
You may want to try playing the video in QuickTime Player, to make sure it's compatible with iTunes.

How do you put mpeg type videos into i tunes???

Hi. I have windows XP as well as iTunes 6.0. However I have some videos in mpeg format that I would like to put onto my iPod video. The problem is that I can't get them in to iTunes. If anyone can help me solve this problem I would really apreciate the help.
Also if anyone knows how to convert midi files to AAC format that would be helpful. I use to be able to but now whenever I try it gives me a message that says "an unkown error occured {-50)".

hmm. get a file converter like audioconverter. i'd suggest going to a torrent site, like torrentz.com, and searching for "audio converter." if you have a bittorrent downloader, download the file with "crack" in the name, so that the bastards who made audio converter wont take the program away from you after 30 trial days. if you don't have a bittorrent downloader, google search azureus, download that, and then you should be able to download the cracked audio converter. follow it's instructions to un-trail-period it, and then use the program. odds are, you'll try to convert the file and it'll say it failed to convert because. ask for details and it'll take you to some site where you can download additions to the file converter, so you can, finally, convert mpeg movies. and midi, and all that.

How do you add a function to an existing Rules Dictionary via the SDK?

The how to SDK describes creating a new dictionary and adding functions and other items. However, in reading the Java API docs, it is not apparent how one would add a new function to an existing dictionary.
Once you have a reference to the RuleDictionary, there is a getDataModel method, but it returns a oracle.rules.sdk.datamodel.DataModel instead of the oracle.rules.sdk.editor.datamodel.DataModel. It appears that this DataMode class is different than the DataModel class in the editor sub-package. Further this DataModel class is not described in the API docs.
There is an addFunction method, but I do not see how to create an instance of the Function class.

I tried exporting my Motion video into Quick time but the quality is horrible. The images and text are blurry.
How can I export this video into a DVD or CD and keeping the best quality of the video?

Try this - export the Motion file as an animation and import into FCP - then apply color correction, if necessary. Then push it through Compressor and onto DVD.....

How do you add calculation columns to a table Region by using the Footer?

I have a requirement to add some aggregate metrics at the bottom of my "tableRegion". The "TotalValue" property value for the table is not going to work for me since I the data I'm calculating is more complicated then doing a simple "sum".
My first try (simple test case) was to use "OATableFooterBean". However, when it tries to find the table bean, it comes back as "null":

I'm guessing it is due to not defining a "footer" region for my "table" region. When I click on the "Table" region, then due "New", I dot see "Region" listed as an option. So my question is how do I add a region "footer" to my "table" region? Once I have that, I'm sure it will solve the "null" exception I'm seeing for trying to get the table footer in the above code.

For this create a transient attribute in the VO.
Perform your required logic on this new transient attribute.
Now create a footer region and create a styledtext and assign this transient attribute.
