Safari bookmark bar is viewed by clicking on the book icon on the far left side of the bar, and selecting the Bookmarks Bar Collection.

How can I sort the bookmarks menu? Sorting only works in "organize bookmarks", doesn't apply to the menu.

I want my bookmarks to be listed alphabetically. I can select "sort by name" or "sort A-Z" under the Organize Bookmarks tab, but my choice applies to the Organize Bookmarks list only; when I open my Bookmarks menu, it remains unsorted. The Views menu in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) is for displaying the bookmarks in different sorting orders (hence the name Views) and doesn't sort bookmarks permanently.
Right-click a folder to open the context menu and choose "Sort By Name" in the left pane of the Bookmarks Manager or in the side bar to sort the bookmarks alphabetically or drag bookmarks to the wanted position. If dragging doesn't work then use Cut and Paste instead.
You may have to close (Firefox> Quit) and restart Firefox to make changes appear in the Bookmarks menu because on Mac that menu is maintained by the OS and not by Firefox.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Since Movies and Podcasts are not options to change to, I assume you mean change unwatched to by name or genre.
You need to keep scrolling up until the menu options are highlighted then use the left and right arrows to change selection.

How do you make the Safari menu bars at the top and bottom of the browser go away in iOS7 when you can't scroll the screen?

The menu bar at the bottom of Safari screens only goes away if you scroll the screen. But for one page content, the screen can't be scrolled which renders useless any links/buttons at the bottom of the page.
Is there a fix for this in iOS7?
In iOS6, users needed only to tap the screen to remove the Safari menu bars. This does not work in iOS6.

Acobat Pro 9 - How Do You Retain The Bookmark View?

I am using a trial version of Abobe Acrobat Pro 9. Everytime i open up a PDF file i have to click the bookmark icon to bring up the bookmarks within the file. Is there anyway when i open up a PDF file that the bookmarks are instantly shown and i don't have to click the button. Can the same be done in Abobe Reader 8 also. Basically i would like the bookmarks to be my default view. Hope this makes sense.

How do you prevent the spry menu from using the main css background-image?

(Dreamweaver CS5. Problem seems not to be browser specific)
I added some code I found online to my main css file in order to allow a custom icon to be used as a bullet in unordered lists, sitewide. It was added before the "body,td,th {" line.
The problem is that the same icon now appears on the upper left hand corner of each main menu segment; not on any submenus or during any mouse states. Just the main at-rest bar.
I know this is somehow related to spry itself being a list, but how do I keep it from showing the background image of the main css file?

How do I get the bookmarks on the dropdown in addition to the menu items?

I used to be able to click on the bookmark icon and have my bookmarks appear on the dropdown along with the menu choices. Now, all I get is the menu choices and I have to click Bookmark Toolbar and then Bookmarks to see the bookmarks. How do I get the bookmarks on the first dropdown without clicking through?

Every screen shot of Fennec I find has a bookmarks button to the left of the address bar, but I've installed it on my Nexus One, and while I can add bookmarks, I can't view them. How do you enable the bookmark button on Fennec?

I'd like to '''restore the normal function''' of the Firefox menus, to the default behavior for a Windows/Mac/Linux Application - where clicking on the menu reveals all of the valid commands as lines of text, with unavailable commands greyed out.
The "Bookmarks" menu seems to have been most affected by changes since 3.6 that were rolled out in release 4 or release 5. Sometimes, depending on the command you want, you have to trigger the bookmark menu dropping down with a keyboard command, and not the normal mouse movement.
