How do you assign profile in a format plugin read sequence

I have a format plugin that will read various image formats. I know what the source colorspace or profile (i.e. ProPhoto RGB, sRGB, AdobeRGB, whatever) is. I haven't figured out how to do the equivalent to Assign Profile from with my Read sequence in my Format Plugin.
Surely there is a way to do this. ACR does it.
Any clues will be greatly appreciated!

Well, it appears that you just fill in the iCCprofileData/iCCprofileSize fields with an ICC profile.
You can read the ICC profile for a filter plugin and you can specify an ICC profile for a format plugin read sequence.

i would like to use 6 specific buttons on my controller to toggle between patches
i know how to scroll through patches using my controller by assinging the next and previous patch functions to 2 buttons on my controller
however what i want is to just be able to push button 1 and go to my gladiator AU synth, then push button 3 to go to my sylenth AU synth. basically i want to be able to change in real time on the spot, spontaniously without premeditation or having scroll between multiple patches to get to the one i want to use.
in the previous posts it says

in the patch inspector go to attributes
select program change, then assign it a number
then assign a midi controller button to trigger that program change number
i can do everything except the last part
how do you assign a program change to a controller button? i cant see anywhere how to do this,

I am not sure about that. Do you mean that all I have to do is provide the interface <cc:attribute name="value" type="lvl1.lvl2.someClass"/> and when I run the method, the returned result will be written into the expression provided in "value"?

You need to convert the VOB files in the TS-Folder of the DVD back to DV which iMovie is designed to handle. For that you need mpegStreamclip:

Obviously the foregoing only applies to DVDs you have made yourself, or other home-made DVDs that have been given to you. It will NOT work on copy-protected commercial DVDs, which in any case would be illegal.

The installer of the MPEG-2 Playback Component may refuse to install the component in Lion. Apple states the component is unnecessary in Lion, however MPEG Streamclip still needs it.

the only way to "automate" password/user additions is to use expect - to allow you to input some meaningful password - stdin doesn't work too well as you've probably seen
Alternatively you can find the crypted value for some password and use that in a cut and paste fashion into the /etc/shadow file (as root obviously) but there are some limitations...
i.e.
echo "${newuserid}:x:${uid}:${gid}:${GCOS}:${homedir}:${usershell}" >> /etc/passwd
echo "${newuserid}:${cryptedpasswd}:0:7:90::::" >> /etc/shadow
this means that you have basically one password you're assigning to each new user, which may or may not be what you're digging after.
If you can figure out how to crypt the password (with the appropriate salt) so it fits into the /etc/shadow crypted format, you'd have your problem solved.

I created an Automator workflow to "Create new email message".
I'd like to be able to launch this with a keyboard shortcut.
In System Preferences, I can see how to assign keyboard shortcuts to menu items, but can't figure how how/if you can do this for automator shortcuts.

Hi Sindhu: Are you using the Informatica Cloud Mapping Designer? Currently the Mapping Designer does not support embedding parameters within expressions, it only supports parameterizing entire expressions.

Reader itself is free. The PDF Pack service that you can use through Reader does not have a trial. The only thing they have that converts pdf files and has a trial is Acrobat Pro.

Thanks John. I have tried solutions 1 to 3 from (-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.h tml) and they do not work. So I presume that all I can do is to remove all 25 CC applications and start again!
Incidently, ( http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ ) does not list Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 as an update even though Adobe have announced that it is available (http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2014/04/camera-raw-8-4-and-dng-converter-8-4-now-a vailable.html). The same applies for Adobe Premiere Pro 7.2.2 (http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2014/04/premiere-pro-cc-7-2-2.html). If they are not available this would explain why I cannot download them but I am very suprised that Adobe didn't mention this when I contacted them.
