They changed the map on Find my Phone!! Now you can't "center" it. I have had to span way out to find the green dot. How the heck do we center it now?

How are you liking the new calendar with the new os?

I am trying to work with the new calendar on my ipad. this new system has added steps that I think are not necessary. for example when I want to see my day I now have to go to the magnifying glass to see it, rather than just touching the day itself. more confuising. any one else?

I tend to use the control center as little as I need to, generally do as much as I can from designer. Ideally the panels and options in control center would have just been available from the designer, but it is still needed for certain deployment options and so forth. Haven't seen the component pallette
I do like the new interface, have now been using it longer than most. Interested to hear what operations you find different/unusual.
There are some changes with the menu system such as the gallery that made changes in some of the behavior like when a time dimension is created, you have to use new via the gallery to see the option to create the time dimension (as opposed to just being on the menu..new time dimension). Another example is creating a Gateway location type, you now have to use new (via gallery) to create a DB2 Gateway Location, since the new location via the DB2 node will create a location for use with the code template maps - if you create a module and use the location created via the wizard it will be of the correct type.

How do you access the new training section for the Creative Cloud Update?

I have done all of the Adobe updates, but I don't see the new Training catergory at the top of the screen when I log into the Creative Cloud Connection next to the Apps and Files category.

The training will be available very soon. Both Training and Folder Sharing/Collaboration had "coming soon" shown briefly during the video.
And yes I am just as frustrated as you with something that is pre-announced that you cannot then immediately go and try.

How do I make the new Maps app do a turn-by-turn preview of my route?

I'm not really bothered by the cosmetic changes to Maps, I figure those will sort themselves out.
BUT. I don't want real-time turn-by-turn directions. Do not want. I want to be able to make the app move step by step through my upcoming route so I can look several turns ahead. This is not something that should have been affected by the loss of Google's resources, and I'm going to be livid if there's really no way to make the app move beyond my current physical location to look at the next step. Please tell me there's a way to do this.
(I'm not referring to the text list of steps. I know I can view that. Please tell me how to make the actual map progress to the next turn before I actually get there.)

The iphone 5 manual seems to imply that the ability to swipe throught turns is limited to earlier phones:
View turn-by-turn directions (iPhone 4 or earlier): Tap Start, then swipe left to see the next instruction (pg80)
I too would be pretty disappointed to learn that the ability to swipe through the turns is no longer available. ( I suspect disappointment is in my future.)

Yes.When you click on the new tab plus sign, there are preview windows for most used websites. Mine have all disappeared. The silhouettes are there, but they will not populate with any websites. There is a help topic about it, but I followed the instructions and no joy, it didn't work.

You update the itunes version on your computer not your phone. You should not have gotten a massage to update on your phone as that iTunes version is built into the current iOS version for the phone.

I got a new macbook pro on monday this week. I just found a few of questions, but it was okay. Before I've already changed computers for many times or just went to apple store to ask what problem this computer had. Now I feel a little bit tired to go again. I have always asked myself. I picked mine up on the day they were released. The only issue I have had is two freezes and one strange sound during one of the freezes. But, I have had no issues in the past two weeks so I'm very happy. I will admit that this is the first glossy display I have owned in the fourteen years I've had a computer and it takes some getting used to.
Rather than going into the Apple Store to ask a question, perhaps posting a specific question here may help. I've read about problems people are having with the updated MB and MBP but Apple seems to be trying to fix these issues quickly.
