How do you change the background to plain white?

Hello. I am currently using Adobe X Pro Lite and I would like to know how to change the background to plain white. This is what it looks like right now:

This makes it difficult to read and it's annoying.

Hello. I am currently using Adobe X Pro Lite and ...
Is this a new product?
In the preferences of Adobe Acrobat X Pro you can disable the entry 'Show transparency grid'.

  • How do you change the background color not of the video clip, but the background the clip is on?

How do you change the background color upon which the clip resides...
I don't want to change anything within the clip itself, but the matte(?)
from black to white or cream.
I am working with Elements 10...

Create a color matte of the desired color and place it on video track 1.  Then place your video on track 2.
from here: Adobe Premiere Elements Help | Creating specialty clips
Create a colored matte for a background
You can create a clip consisting of a full‑frame matte of solid color, which you can use as a solid background for titles or animated clips.
Brightly colored mattes can serve as temporary backgrounds to help you see transparency more clearly while you adjust a key effect.
    Click Project Assets.
In the Project Assets panel, click New Item from the panel options and choose Color Matte.
Choose a color in the Adobe Color Picker dialog box, and click OK.
A color matte clip is placed into both the Project Assets panel and the Expert view timeline.

  • How do you change the background color?

I saved a Word document as a PDF and the background color is yellow. The Word document is white. On the PDF, the background is yellow and the inserted graphics and boxes are white.
How do I change the background color of the PDF? And is there a default setting for the color. This happens every time I need to create a PDF from a Word document.
    Thank you.

    Hi Michele,
    Please check the following Preferences:
Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Accessibility -> make sure "Replace Document Colors" is unchecked.

  • How do you change the background of a single page??

I know how to change the background of a page (wrench tool- document setup- add shape- change size to fit whole page - change colour - done)
but it automatically makes every page that colour not just one page, please can somebody explain how to make it work. Thanks

    Hello Alp2001,
Thank you for the details setting a background color in Pages.  When you click on Document Setup under the wrench tool, this sets the background for your entire document.
Alternatively, if you want to add a background on a single page but not for the entire document, you can just add a shape with the background color on that page.  I also recommend locking the shape once you add it so that it doesn't move while you are trying to add other items to the page.
Follow the steps in this article to add a shape, change the size to fit the whole page, and change the color:
Pages Help for iPad - Add and edit shapes
    http://help.apple.com/pages/ipad/2.0/#/tan9ad18c384
Once you have set the background for that page, folllow the steps under the section titled "Lock objects" in this article to lock the background shape so that it doesn't move:
Pages Help for iPad - Layer, group, and lock objects

  • How do you change the background color & font in a text-only popup?

It has been ages since I did this and I can't seem to remember how. I tried to edit the style sheet but it only has options to change the text-only popup hotspot/link and I need to change the background color and font style within the popup itself. Tried Adobe's help but it had no answer for me. Any one out there know how to do this? I am running RoboHelp 7.

By Popup do you mean a link that when clicked causes a separate topic to be displayed in a seperate window (popup) or Drop Down text?
For Popups that are displayed in a new window then the font and colour is changed in the topic that is displayed. Simply open the topic and change colours / features as required
If you are using drop down text and confusing this with a popup then the font and colour is changed when creating the drop down text. Right click the text and select Font to change colour etc.

  • How do you change the background colour of the bottom part of calendar on iPhoto

I have created a few calendars and photo books from iPhoto, but can't seem to find how to change the background colour of the bottom part of the calendar (where you write) to match the top part where you insert the photos.  Consequently you end up with a mismatch which doesn't look as good.  I can't believe that apple have not considered this since here are about 5 or 6 colours to choose from on the top section.  I am not running the latest version of iPhoto (which is 11 I think) as I'm not on Lion- is this significant??

Some theme will let you change the color of both pages. The travel themes, Vintage, Seasons, Kids, Colored Paper, Modern Lines, Classic (only the border around the date area), With the Big Date theme you can change the background on both pages.
Send a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.

  • How do you change the background in an editable region?

I have created a template with an editable region in it.  I then created a web page based on the template and have added text to the editable region.  I would like to change the background color of just the editable region and just for this web page.  How can I do that?
    Thanks.

Well... am sure others will correct me if i'm wrong, but it seems fairly simple.
1/ There must be a tag identifying that editable area. Either a <div>, or a <table>, or whatever...
2/ Create a class in you stylesheet with the background colour you want to use and assign it to the tag
3/ Alternatively, if you'd rather use an inline style, then go to the tag in code view, right click, select style from the menu and then in the quotes right click again and select background-color. Choose your color and you're done.
If the editable area is a <div> for instance, your inline css should look like this:
    <div style="background-color:#CCCCCC"> This will give you a grey background</div>
    Cheers,
    JJ
PS: If you can put the page up it'll be easier to help you

  • How do you change the background color of a page in projects

I'm making a new photo book in projects.  the theme I've selected has black pages.  I would prefer white pages but can not change the background or I would like to change the theme without having to start all over again.  I have no change theme button in the upper right hand corner.  Any suggestions?

Don't know what version of iPhoto you're using but in iPhoto 8 (09) we have this to change the background in the Folio theme:
Wereas in iPhoto 9 and later we have this:
If you don't that in the version you're using try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion and Mt. Lion delete the contents the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
    Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9,  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

  • How do you change the slide background colour in the keynote app?

How do you change the slide background colour in the keynote app?

You can't (not in Keynote for iOS). The background color is a function of the template selected when you create the file initially and cannot be altered. the only workaround I know of is to add a graphic file to the slide and position it behind all other content, but this would need to be repeated on any slide you wish to "recolor".

  • How do you change the dashboard background in os x mavericks?

How do you change the dashboard background in os x mavericks? plz help!!!

I just discovered this by mistake.
Select the picture you want as background, and in the Services menu (or contextual menu) choose "Set Desktop Picture". Then immediately switch into the Dashboard while this command is being processed.
I was trying to change my regular desktop but discovered this changed the Dashboard background instead. I presume it is because Dashboard is considered a Space and different Spaces can have different Desktops.
