How do you change your user name associated with the app store on the iphone 3G. When attempting to update, it is using an old email address that has since been changed at the apple site. The problem is that my phone does not seem to recognize this.
I have exausted my ideas, and turn to the forum, prior to paying for something that may be a 2second simple fix. Please help if you can. Let me know if you need more info to understand my dilema.

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them. You will always be asked for the password associated with this ID when updating apps, regardless of whether or not you are using this ID for current purchases. The only way to stop this is to delete the old apps from your phone and iTunes and repurchase them with your current ID.
Edit: to change the ID used for future purchases on your phone, go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using the new ID. As explained above, you will still be prompted with the old ID when updating apps purchase with the older ID.

Password for the Mac. It is trying to write to the Mac hard drive in an area that is restricted and only access by typing in the Mac Admin password.
Or at least that is how I see it.

Migration assistant really doesn't work. Even when it looks like it is working it leave you with unintended consequences.
Also there is Nothing on your Windows PC that the Mac can use. No programs or settings. The only thing you can use on the Mac from Windows are your presonal files, Music, images and office data files.
So it is easier to just copy them over to the Mac then using MA, as you may have found out. -

TS1368 Can't get into updates section in the app store on my iPhone
I can acess the app store on my iPhone but when I click on the updates tab it says "cannot connect to the iTunes store" which is weird because I can still download apps and search them.... Can anyone suggest how I can fix this?
Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
If that doesn't solve it then what has worked for some people is going into Settings > General > Date & Time and change the date to a few months (or maybe more) in the future and then re-trying -
I am unable to change or delete my iCloud ID, it is prompting sign in using an old email address that used to be my Apple ID, others have had this same problem but the answer seems to be to delete the iCloud account but I can't do that, because when I select delete account it prompts me to sign in on the old email address which doesn't exist anymore!! Welcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Before removing iPhoto (latest update crashed the app), I accidently removed it from my purchased Apps from the App Store. I accept iPhoto when I search for it, but does not put it back in my list. How do I get this back so that I can reinstall iPhoto?

I have an iphone 4 and recently changed my apple id password. I went through the verification successfully. For some reason, I can't sign into the app store on my iphone using my apple id and password.
Apple doesn't monitor here. Best we can do is to push you to contact Apple directly.

Is there away to recover a icloud keychain password that has since been replaced within the keychain??It wasnt my keychain password.. sorry i wasnt clear... a password to access a different website.. i was changing the password and apple suggested a password to use.. i accepted the suggested password and went back to login screen. It automaticlly filled out username and password with what I assumed was the new password..but it turned out to be the old one.. I thought it saved the new password within keychain as I set up the new password

When I download an app from the App Store, it jus shows "waiting" and doesn't download as it used to do earlier... Then after a day or 2 the app is downloaded... I dunno wuz d problem, can someone help me
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again. -
I am signed into the App Store on my iphone 4 and one of my apps need updating and my brother is signed into it because I didn't have any credit to make an ID so he signed in so I could download apps but its like its locked to his Apple ID I have tried signing out and turning my phone off its just not working please help.
Apps are locked to the Apple ID that was used to download them. You will have to sign in as your brother in order to update it.

Problem tranferring old iPhone 3GS (ios 6.1.6) to new iPhone 5S (ios 8.1.2) through iTunes on my iMac computer (OSX 10.5.8) . I have backed up the 3GS this way since purchase of 3GS. Try removing your sim and insert it again and make sure that its clean as well as the sim tray. insert it seucrely locked in place. See if it works, quick fix.
