  • How do you set the zoom level to Inherit Zoom for all bookmarks in a pdf?

How do you set the zoom level to Inherit Zoom for all bookmarks in a pdf?

I made an account just to "like" your comment and say that you are a god among men.
I've been searching for hours about how to make the zoom level persistent throughout following links in various PDF's I have, and most sources were saying to just buy acrobat pro and edit the bookmarks manually with it.
I saw that it was possible to write an application to change the property, and considered doing it after the only pre-existing custom application I could find was asking for $50.
Thanks to you, I no longer have to worry about re-zooming every time I click a bookmark, and I'm not out $50 or the time it would take to code an app myself!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Crrystal Reports using ADO.  How do you Change the Isolation Level?  I found a knowledge base article that allows you to change it for ODBC.   But nothing on ADO.  I kicked around changing the reports to ODBC but even then the keys described in the article do no exist.  Any suggestions?
    Thanks,

Specifically to address this point: if you mouse over the audio levels' rubber band segment BETWEEN your points 2) and 3) until the cursor changes to an up/down adjustment arrow ⬍, and move it up/down, it will adjust BOTH the levels at 2) and 3), maintaining the relative difference between them (or, if points 2) and 3) start at the same level, this adjustment will keep them equal as you drag them both up/down together in one action.)

  • TS1314 How do you change the default location address (in My Pictures) of the IPOD Photo Cache ?

How do you change the default location address (in my pictures) of the IPOD Photo Cache ?

You do no specifically. It sounds like you are syncing a folder to the iPod. In that case:
From a Folder on Mac OS X, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7
The iPod Photo Cache will be located in the folder you selected to sync with.
Thus, you have to change the location of the folder you sync with.

  • How do you check the existance of a file in Linux?

    Hi,
How do you check to see if a file in certain directory exists?
    I'm trying something like.
if [ "ls fhs_jwesha_2.log" ]; then echo Here; else echo Not Here.;fibut I know that's not the right command.
    Anybody?

    Assuming from command line:
    [user@myhost /]$ [ -f /etc/passwd ] && echo "here" || echo "not here"
    here
    [user@myhost /]$ [ -f /etc/no_file ] && echo "here" || echo "not here"
    not hereFor a script, try:
    if [ -f /etc/passwd ]; then echo "here" ; else echo "not here" ; fi-troy

  • With iTunes 11 how do you see the size of music or other albums? ie number of tracks and disc space

When attempting to sync my iPhone 4s with the new iTunes 11 i get an error message " cannot sync as need more disc space" however the usage bar on the iphone shows space enough; how can you see the total volume of libraries such as music and films in the new iTunes?

It may be the disc space on your computer, not the phone.  In itunes if you click on music, movies, apps, etc it shows the total usage at the bottom of the screen. Good luck.

  • How do you know the audio level of a keyframes

I'm varying the audio levels of clips on the timeline by creating keyframes using the pen tool. I create four points:
    1) -inf = beginning of fade-in
    2) -5dB = end of fade-in
    3) -5db = beginning of fade-out
    4) -inf = end of fade-out
But when I'm going back to adjust points, how do I know what level they're at already without having to drag them away from their home position and then back?
Scrolling over them with the mouse (and not clicking) just gives me a crosshair and no info.
I want to make sure that points 2&3 are at the same level, so I can just move the envelope region between them up and down to change the volume. Any quick way to do this to speed up my process?

  • How do you check the status of your order if you ordered from ATT store?

I ordered on July the 2nd, but have no idea how to check my order's status. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Go to AT&T order status page. You can search by your order number (which they should have provided you at the store) or by the phone number you provided them at the store. If you're a current customer, it would be your current number.

  • How do you equalize the sound levels of your music

The newests ITunes interface doesn't show any way to manage your music. I want to equalize the sound levels on my libarary. How do I do it?

You should see it in part of the description once the divice is connected to the computer through a usb cable. Or you could look at the number by going on setting on your ipod touch then go to general then from there go on about scroll down until you see serial number and ther it is.

  • How can you change the volume level????

    Hi all:
I don't know if this is possible but sometimes I want to reduce or increase the volume level of several clips (10 or 20) by the same amount while they are linne up in the timeline, they are individual clips arranged back to back during the edit.  I want to either up the volume by 10db or down 10db from baseline 0db.
Do I have to do it induvidually or is ther a way to select them and apply the change to all of them at one time.????
    Your input is appreciated
    Thanks,
    AppleLou

And to go a step further, put them all into a Compound Clip, and you can apply a single filter to them all at once, plus keyframe your audio over time to them all at once.

  • Might sound stupid to some, but how do you see the master levels?

I see audio levels for every single track, audio and midi,
but for the master fader, i just see the fader. Surely there
must be a way to see the level, right?

the master fader is just a fader, basically for adjusting monitoring level. the actual channel that contains the mix is the output channel 'out 1-2' (although you can have more than just one, 'out 3-4' etc). there you'll see levels just like any other channel. if you don't see one in your environment, just create a new audio object, double click on it and then in its parameter box set this object to be an 'out 1-2' and you're done.

  • How do you check the language OS is installed in?

Is there a way you can check what language the operating system is installed in using Java? I need to know whether my code is running on a Simplified Chinese OS, a Japanese OS, a Korean OS etc. in order to set the font to one that will display the characters.
I checked out System.getProperties but may be going in the wrong direction. Any advice?
    Thanks.

    System.out.println(System.getProperty("user.language") + " " +System.getProperty("file.encoding"));
