How do you clear the Camera RAW settings?

When opening a photo in Bridge, the photo opens in it's original state but then Bridge quickly applies settings to it and it looks darker. How do I stop this from happening? Can I easily turn it off and on? I tried Edit>Apply Camera RAW Settings>Clear Camera Raw Settings but it did nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi and tanks for your answer
I´ve done it . I ´ve put all the settings to zero (brigthness, contrast , expose, etc..) and I´ve saved it as new CR default values, but the images continue "getting worse" (although not the same situation , now they lose all their "strong", i supose cause the zero values)
In my bridge thumnail i see the image as i taked it, right with the light and the color i want. but in the moment i select with my mouse the image to see it in preview mode, the image "gets worse".

Try the easiest way first:  simply select the Updates menu item in Photoshop's Help menu.
You want to be on version 6.7 of Camera Raw.
If for some reason the auto updater fails, you can download the updated plug-in and install it yourself by following the instructions on the download page, here:

How do you apply the school proxy settings to the ipad to filter website searches?

    Hi Stebop1987,
You will want to apply a configuration profile with Global HTTP proxy settings to your proxy server. Use Apple Configurator or an MDM to deploy the configuration profile to your fleet of iPads. I recommend you contact your web filter provider for detials on what proxy details to enter in the configuration profile (type, server, port, username, password).
    Hope this helps!

Check to see that it isn't set to video recording (which doesn't zoom).  Otherwise you may need to restore your phone to fix this if it's a software problem (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414).  Restoring replaces the iOS with a fresh copy of the latest iOS.

  • Where do I find the Camera Raw settings file?

I've been running Creative Suite 3 on a MacBook Pro. I just bought a Mac Pro so got my disks off the shelf to install on the new machine. That's when I found I have to deactive the programmes on the laptop in order to install them on the tower. (Which strikes me as outrageously restrictive. How many people work on a tower at home and a laptop for the road?)
Having gone throught the deactivation/activation process, I opened Photoshop to process some NEF files, and then remembered that my Camera Raw settings were somewhere on the laptop - but where ??? I assume there must be a file somewhere, but have not so far been able to find it.
    Any ideas gratefully received.
    Thanks

By "Camera Raw Settings file", I take it that you are looking for the develop settings for each raw file. These settings can be stored in two ways. The first and most common method is to store them as sidecar *.xmp files in the same directory as the NEFs. The other method is to store them in a centrally located Camera Raw database. One can change these methods via the Edit Preferences menu of either Photoshop or Camera Raw. Further information is here:

The storage location for this central database as well as the storage locations for other settings are shown in this Adobe link:

  • How do you read the camera position in the 3d picture control?

    Hello,
There is a method to setup the camera position, but how do you read the current camera position?  e.g. the user uses the mouse, ctrl, and shift, to change the camera position.  How do you read this new camera position?  There don't seem to be any properties to do this.
    I've read this thread:
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=214629&requireLogin=False
but the question was never answered....
From the comments in that thread, even if you had the proper documentation for the "Model Matrix" property, you couldn't get the information necessary to calculation the camera position.

    Lorielle,
    Thanks for the VI.
Could you point me towards a more detailed description of the "Modelview Matrix" property?  I've attached a screenshot from the online help.  It is not very helpful.

  • How do you clear the download queue?

I've reached the 3,333 track limit on my device (Android phone) and keep getting the message every time I go switch off offline mode, because I have tracks queued to download but obviously can't.How can I clear the download queue, to stop the message (and download different tracks after I undownload some others)?

I've ran into that buying a movie. You cannot cancel it. It has to finish downloading then delete it. I tried emailing apple, they told me to do it that way. I also heard they can clear your queue(apple), but that didn't happen to me. Sorry, I looked everywhere as well. I would buy a movie on my iPad to watch on atv and I had to do it that way. I just purchase from tv now and download later on MacBook or iPad if I want it.

  • How do you change the nominal range settings from 0-10v to 0-1v

Currently using a PCI-6052E with Mac OS, how do you change the resolution accuracy? In other words from say
0-10V full scale for an AI to 0-1V full scale?

Here is the information that you should follow when using DAQ with a Macintosh. I'm not sure whether you are using LabVIEW or some other programming language, so the two main references that you should refer to are the NI-DAQ Software Reference Manual for Macintosh and the LabVIEW Data Acquisition VI Reference Manual. Both of these resources are excellent sources of information and will explain to you anything you need to know about programming DAQ on a Macintosh.
The NI-DAQ Software Reference Manual for Macintosh can tell you how to configure things such as Analog Input Mode (differential, RSE, NRSE), Range, Polarity, Analog Output Range, P
olarity, Voltage Source, etc. Even reading just the first chapters of either of the above mentioned reference manuals should have you on your way.
    Hope this helps.

  • I have Photoshop Elements 11. I purchased a Canon 70D, which raw files are not supported by PE11. How can I upgrade the Camera Raw plug in? Thank you.

Please help: I cannot find any answer.

You need PSE12 to read your CR2 files. Alternatively, download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)
Windows download (.exe file) click here DNG Converter 8.2
Mac download (.dmg file) click here DNG Converter 8.2
You can convert a whole folder of raw images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:

  • How do I move the camera import settings in the list?

I'd really love to delete all of the LR import presets since I never use them. It's a long list and my camera profiles, which  I do use are always at the bottom. I want them at the top of the list...if I can't delete all of the ones I never use.
How do I do either one of these things?
If Adobe doesn't allow the presets to be deleted, they need to think about that for the next rev. It's a hassle in workflow to keep scanning this list.
    Thanks!

    Ed,
You're mixing up a few things here.
The creative develop presets are not contained in folders but built into LR. They can be removed by what's described in Sean McCormacks article I quoted (I've never tried it).
Camera Profiles don't show up in develop presets as such, but in the Camera Calibration tab in Develop. They need to reside in the folder "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles" or "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles" in order to show up in Camera Calibration.
If you want to use a specific camera profile during import, or otherwise by applying a preset, you have to assign the specific camera profile to one image and then create a preset with the settings of that image (possible by just ticking "calibration" in the settings to be included in the preset). You can then use this preset during import.
Another option would be to make the use of one camera profile a Default in LR for a specific camera model, which then would be used for all images of this camera model upon import.

I think you mean smallworld50.com.  After the intro is complete, click on the
link to find a video window that looks like this: (any Flash video window will do)
How to turn Mac camera on depends on what Mac OS X you are using.
If you are using the latest Mac OS versions, (OS X 10.8 or 10.9,) you may need to configure your Mac's System Preferences > Flash Player > Camera and Mic settings before starting the following.
Try <control>Click in the Flash video window.  A dialog box like the one in this image should open.
Click on "Settings...".  A dialog box like the one below should open.
Click the camera tab at the bottom of the window, then on the camera you want to select (unless you have more than one connected camera, it will be the only one,) the camera and its green indicator light should start working now,  and then the dialog "Close" button.
For more info on camera settings, see Adobe - Flash Player : Help - Camera Settings
If you are still having trouble making your camera to work, when you post back, please tell us which Mac OS X version you use (you can find your version by clicking your Mac's  > About this Mac menu item)

  • How do you change PS Camera Raw dialog w/ Asian language to English

I think I was moving too fast using Bridge and accidentally changed a setting.
I opened a jpeg in Camera Raw within Bridge, made some corrections in Bridge Camera Raw, then clicked Done. Later, when I double clicked the corrected image in Bridge so that it would open in PS, the PS Camera Raw dialog opened with an Asian language interface.
How do you change that back to English?
To recap: Camera Raw is in English in Bridge, but Camera Raw is in an Asian language when I double click a Bridge-corrected file and open Camera Raw in PS.
    Thanks for any help here!

  • WRT54G - How do you clear the log files?

How does one "Clear" both the Incoming/Outgoing log files?
    Thanks.

Turn the logs off and click save.  When it is confirmed that your settings were saved, go back into the logs and turn them back on.  Make sure you save your changes.  That should clear your log files.
    I hope that helps.
