How do you clear the recent history list (as this function was lost in one of the last app updates )?

Since this function was apparently lost in one of the last adobe reader app updates, how now are you supposed to clear the recent history, but retain the files on my nexus tablet?

That explains why I am no longer able to clear the recent history list...
I understand that removing/deleting the files from my device will remove the files from my list. However this in not ideal for me, as I would like to be able to go back and look at the papers that I have previously read and then be able to clear the recent list. Also, if I can clear the list without removing the files from my device, I can keep track of what I have recently read, and move those files into a second folder on my device to say that I have read the papers at least once. That way I would still have the papers on my device but can clear the list and know that I have read the papers. Thus I really would like a way to clear your history from the recents list, ideally with the option of clearing individual files from the list, as well as a second option to clear all files from the recent list, while retaining the original files on the device.

Every time I import new photos, previous imports are duplicated.
Either delete the photos from your camera card (using the camera Format command is recommended) after importing or click the hide photos previously imported square in the import window
And for every photo I import, a new import file is created.
Please explain - you should not be looking at files within the iPhoto library - the only information that you should be using is that displayed by iPhoto - no file information is available or needed via iPhoto

Again importing does not create folders within iPhoto - folders can only be created by user action and folders do not contain photos - they contain other folders or albums
If you are looking with the finder - do not. There are no user serviceable parts in the iPhoto library.

So you need to explain more clearly - I know that language can be a barrier but since we can not see anything exact, clear and detailed descriptions using standard English and iPhoto terms is very important - and do not use the finder to make any changes of any sort to the iPhoto library

The last import is not a file - it is an album showing the photos last imported - albums do not duplicate photos - they point to them and take virtually no space

In Safari, use the open book symbol to go to bookmarks. At the top of the list is "History", tap history and then tap the clear button on the bottom left of the screen. That clears the search history as well.

Nick, you had the right idea. Success! I changed my email address on my Apple ID. Then went to my Iphone and under Settings, iTunes & App Stores, press on AppleID: (I.D.inserted), Sign Out, Create New Apple ID. Used the original Apple ID email address to create a "new" Apple ID, going through the whole set up process again, including billing info. Then, when opening the App Store app there are no Purchased apps to display, because there are none on this "new" account. The old account still exists in Apple cyberspace, but it is not tied to my iPhone or iTunes anymore. There does not appear to be any way to delete an Apple ID. Maybe after a few centuries Apple will discard it. Maybe not.

I got the latest version of itunes, the latest version of software for ipod touch but I still can't find the "APPS" tab in the preferences setting. How do you get the 2.0 update? I had the same problem with the other update when I first bought this thing. Apple is really ******* me off.

I've ran into that buying a movie. You cannot cancel it. It has to finish downloading then delete it. I tried emailing apple, they told me to do it that way. How to you stop the new Health App from running in the background? Its its always running collecting data on how many steps I have taken and how far I have walked.. I walked 12000 steps and travelled 4.1km DRIVING my kids to school this morning according to the app.

I never intend to use the health app because I do not need an app on my phone to help me live a healthy lifestyle. Therefore I find it intrusive there is no way to stop it from tracking my steps or whatever else it may be doing. I found a way to force the app to crash and maybe this will stop it from running in the background. Open the app, tap "Health Data" at the bottom of the screen, tap "Fitness" then "Steps" and tap "Add Data" type in a huge number - a very huge number with 30 or more characters, you can even add more than 1 decimal point. Repeat this for "walking + Running Distance". From this point forward the app will crash when you try to look at the data. Maye this prevents it from recording new data, I'm not sure but I really like the fact the app crashes. Hopefully Apple will add a feature to allow us to turn off data collection altogether or even better, allow us to delete this app.

Is there a way to uninstall the last Bluetooth Update dated June 19th version 2.1.6f8? Since I applied this update I have difficulties putting my computer to sleep. When I select the Sleep command the computer goes to sleep but then wakes immediately. The option "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer" isn't checked. Before this update, I never had that problem which started minutes after applying this update.
I use both Apple wireless mouse and keyboard.
I wish I could revert to the previous version of the Bluetooth drivers because shutting down the computer instead of using the Sleep option isn't fun.
Am I the only one to have this problem?

I would like to know how to delete the history of names on the BBZ10 please.
You know like on outlook when you dont want an address to appear again you bring up the address and then highlight it and then hit the delete button and its gone from your history for good.
Well how do you do it with BB's?
I have email addresses that I have deleted from the contacts list and yet they still come up when i start to type up another email?
Surely this must be a no brainer but I'm missing something.
