How do you combine 3 different itunes libraries from 3 different computers to 1 computer?
Can you keep it from creating duplicates? These libraries have some duplicates.
How do you deal with duplicates?
I'm talking 50GB.
All computers are authorized.

You can't.
If accounts could be merged, then everybody could merge their accounts with everybody and there would be no need for anyone to buy anything.

You can't "merge" users, you have to transfer the files using intermediate steps to deal with Permissions issues.
You found out first hand that you should use Setup Assistant, rather than Migration Assistant to perform the action that is now causing trouble, and time.
1) Log in to the A account.
2) Locate all the files you want to move. Move them to /Users/A/Public. Note: Don't move any System-created top-level folders, like Documents, Pictures, Music, Movies, etc. Just move their contents.
3) Log in to the B account.
4) Navigate with Finder to /Users/A/Public. Drag the files to the Desktop. This will make new copies of them that will have the correct permissions for User B.
5) Put the new copies of the files away in the appropriate places in B's home folder.
6) Delete the A user account if it is no longer needed.
Doing it this way will ensure that there are no permissions headaches with the files after they are moved.
Also, make sure that you BACK UP all of your data before starting.

If it's for another person with different tastes, then use Windows to create another User account.
iTunes will be there, just need to move content to the other user using a external usb key or drive.
Please, make backups of your data. If Windows or the hard drive dies it's very hard and expensive to recover your data.

I got a new iPad for Xmas to replace an old laptop not realising I would still have to have a laptop or PC for my main iTunes library. I have got round ths by creating my own area on my partner's laptop & have installed my iTunes library on there. Before you connect any device to a new library go to the Devices tab of the the preferences panel via Edit > Preferences (Windows) or iTunes > Preferences (Mac) and ensure the box next to Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically is ticked. You can now safely connect the device to your computer without the danger of media being automatically deleted or overwritten.
To get all your content off your connect your iPad to your new computer.
Then use a 3rd party piece of software to transfer your content

Merge 2 iTunes libraries from 2 home computers

I have an older iMac running 10.5.8 (newest OS possible on this computer) in my bedroom and a 1 year old iMac running 10.6.8 in the family room. My old iMac has the bigger and daily used iTunes library on it. Unfortunately I have used the new iMac's iTunes to purchase a dozen songs and to download several CD's that have been lost since. I now would like to merge the two libraries onto my new iMac as one and only download to the new iMac in the future. I don't care if playlists don't make it across. Once set I will use the old iMac to listen to iTunes on the new iMac via Home Sharing. So what are the steps to get the iTunes library on the old iMac onto the new iMac and merged into one library without deleting the new songs on the new iMac? (I'd appreciate a quick note to me at ************* in case I lose track of this thread. Thanks for your time and trouble.

How do you roll BACK to iTunes 11 from 12.

In a nut shell, version 12 of iTunes is a MESS. My Ipod HATES it as I can NOT delete nor add play lists and I've tried everything. 12 is a bug fest.
I had no problems what so ever with version 11 and would LOVE TO roll it back. Anyone do it with success?
If so please help the hundreds of us out in cyber space who would love to roll back too.

If you really want to roll back to 11.4 uninstall all iTunes/Apple components, restore the pre-upgrade version of the library as described in Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash, then download and install from one of these direct links:

I have tried to copy and paste the two projects, both in the project library and in the timeline. In the timeline the paste option is not highlighted and paste does not work. In the project library I highlighted the project and copied the project, but I was unable to paste into the other project. Is this done in the project library? The paste option is hightlight but each time I paste it does not work.

if the computer cannot be turned on, one option would be to remove the hard drive and put it in an external enclosure that can be connected to the working computer.
