How do you completely remove all Logic/Soundtrack/etc content in it's entirety?

I've been trying to find out for hours where these **** files are hiding. I've just tried to install Logic 9 with all the additional content when my installer failed at the last moment and left everything strewn uselessly around my system. I've deleted all the files I can find associated with logic.
I have deleted all these files, except ones in red I can not find (because this is from a guide in 2009 and I'm running mountain lion so the extentions are different), though I am still missing 30 odd gigs of space on my harddrive, where is all this audio content hiding???

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as this is frustrating the **** out of me. Why can't the apple installer automatically delete the files following an incomplete installation? It's times like these that I wish I was on a PC.
Thanks a lot!
I'm running on a Macbook Pro mid 2012 with the latest version of Mountain Lion.

Took me a while but I figured it out. Sorry for being so aggressive it hasn't been the best day.
Cheers!

I think I finally got rid of it.  I searched drive C for "beats" and "beat" and erased all of them that appeared to be related to Beats Audio.  I had to do that three times, each time deleting any Beats files tht showed up in a search.  Finally, after the third boot, nothing showed up in the search.  My audio is working just fine, and no more Beats Audio.  I imagine I could still run Beats through the motherboard but, as long as i don't try to run Beats, it's no longer automatically loading at boot.
    Thanks for your time.

  • HT4314 How do you completely remove "Game Center" from an iPad?

How do you completely remove “Game Center” from an iPad? Disabling Game Center is a joke because even after you disable it, it continues to reappear frequently prior to your game and “Demands” your attention before it allows you to play your game, this is very annoying. Also, if you are off the grid (e.g.: OCONUS) with no connectivity and the “Game Center” pops up you are blocked from playing your game(s) entirely with no recourse to include being blocked from doing the Game Center multiscreen dance of Canceling and finally Disabling Game Center (yup, they have a button for it on one of the last popup screens But that button to Disable it is completely ineffective because Game Center will still reappear in a day or so). Kindly note that I play single player games like solitaire that should not require the Game Center and some apple tech agree. Apple support techs also have not been helpful with my “Case” number. And no, under the General Settings even when you switch off both Game Center toggles it still overrides them et al. I bought this iPad because it looked like something fun to do and it is BUT I ignored the warnings that it would be a socially invasive toy with a forced unalterable protocol; next time should I listen more closely? Thanks for any understanding and assistance.

Let apple know how you feel

beyond that your only recourse is to look for games that are not game center games and only use those. The ability to disable game center was removed with iOS6 I believe. All you can do is block multiplayer games and game invites. Everything else is unalterable.

  • How do you COMPLETELY Remove Programs?

Is there a way to completely remove a Program and all of its traces?
I have a program (Sorenson Squeeze) and I installed the Trial Version and it immediately says that my Trial has expired. The companies support, Sorenson, told me to remove the program and all traces of it and then reinstall and all should be well.
In Windows you can Uninstall and do a RegEdit to get rid of everything. How do you do the same in OSX?

  • How do I completely remove all of firefox and give it a clean install?

Every time I go to yahoo.com one of the plugins I have installed crashes firefox. I can't quite figure out which one it is, I deactivate them or run FF in safe mode and it still crashes. I've uninstalled FF and reinstalled with the newest version and all the plugins and bookmarks carry over so I can't get a clean install. I was able to install an older version of FF and it worked fine. So short of running old unsafe software or trolling through my registry and potentially messing more things up, I am at a loss.

Anything that is involved with LSP (i.e. links itself in the network connection) is suspicious.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

  • Completely remove all traces of Photoshop CS3 Extended

I have recently installed Photoshop CS3 Extended but there was a problem with the serial number on the box. Adobe have issued me a new serial number to use. I uninstalled it all but when i reinstalled it, the original serial number is still there. How do i completely remove all traces of Photoshop CS3 Extended from my computer so that i can reinstall it with my new serial number? This is a full retail version used on a Windows XP system. Many thanks.

don't forget to read the instructions! :)
on that page you'll find this note:
    >Start out at Level 2 and advance to Level 3 only if you still have issues installing your CS3 applications. Running this script removes shared components created during the installation of CS3 applications.
    >Note: Level 3 is a hidden option and thus is not listed in the main interface. To access Level 3 just type "3"( without quotes) when prompted for the level.

  • How can I completely remove iTunes and all associated files/programs from my Windows PC?

How can I completely remove iTunes and all associated files/programs from my Windows PC?

iTunes, along with Quick Time, iCloud, Apple Software Update, Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support and Apple Application Support can all be removed from your PC by uninstalling them using 'Uninstall or change a program' in Control Panel. The only obvious thing that will be left behind is your iTunes library which remains untouched. If you want to remove that as well it's just a question of deleting it.
    Hope that helps.

  • HT4007 I have just transferred all my raw, jpeg & tiff files into LR4 and using to opportunity to delete old raw files to free up disc space. How can i completely remove a raw file from my msc disc??

I have just transferred all my raw, jpeg & tiff files into LR4 and using the  opportunity to delete old raw files to free up disc space. How can i completely remove a raw file from my mac disc??

I'd be careful here: LR references files. It can copy them, like from an SD card to your hard drive, but it doesn't necessarily make duplicates. So when you say you "transferred" those files "into" LR it just means you referenced existing files. And if you delete those they're gone, unless you've made copies. LR does not import files by copying them into a managed library like Aperture does.

  • Updated 05 to 06 - how do i completely remove ilife 05?

have installed ilife 06 - but ilife still remains in my home> applications folder - how can i completely remove ilife 05?
or has it overwritten the previous ilife05 folders?
Ilife06 is in Mac hdd> applications folder.

    Steve:
Not sure what you mean by iLife is in your Applications folder. When installed you should have the various iLife applications, iPhoto, iMovie, iWeb, etc., in the Applications folder. When you install the next version it replaces those applications with the new versions. There should be no iLife folder in the Applications folder. Did you create such a folder and put those applications in there? If so then the iLife 06 may have just installed it's applications in the Application folder where they should be and left that iLife folder that you created alone. If that's what you did, drag that iLife 05 folder to the Trash. But make sure you have the V6 applications in the Applications folder. They should not be placed in a subfolder. Doing that will not let the updaters find them and update.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

How can I completely remove my App Store purchases ? I delete certain apps from the iPod but they still are listed under 'purchased apps'.
I need to completely remove then from history as well

You can't permanently delete any items from you purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they don't show in the Purchased tab for re-downloading : hiding and unhiding.

It is not a good idea, to manually delete registry keys. Java uninstaller removes all registry entries that are needed to perform clean future installation.
You might see some of the keys not removed by Java unistaller but they do not prevent any user from doing fresh installation of Java in future.
Java removal tool is currently being developed, but that is for removing old/unsecure and unsupported Java versions. The tool isn't really intended to remove current/above security baseline versions of Java.
Also, the tool does a standard un-install using msiexec /x. It won't specifically delete registry keys - it lets msiexec do it.

You can't. Default Apple Apps cannot be removed. If you sign out of your Apple Id in Settings->Messages->Send & Receive->Apple ID then the iPad will have no knowledge of your Phone number.

how can i completely remove a credit card from my apple id?

    Hi Craig,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Using the steps from the article above (iTunes Store: Changing your payment information), you should be able to select "None" as your payment method. This will remove your credit card from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID).
Changing your payment information using an iOS device
Tap Settings on the Home screen.
    Tap iTunes & App Stores.
Tap your Apple ID. (If you aren't signed in, enter your Apple ID and password and tap Sign In.)
    Tap View Apple ID.
    Enter your Apple ID password.
In the Edit section, tap Payment Information.
Update the information that you want to change.
Note: You can find the payment methods that the iTunes Store accepts in the Payment Type section. If you don't want a payment method on your account, select None in the Payment Type section.
    Best Regards,
    Jeremy
