How do you 'connect' your ipod to Itunes, to make it updated?
Im really stuck here.
I got an older Ipod touch a few days ago and its REALLY Old, ex- no camera.
I dont know what genration it is because its a hand-me-down and I dont no what you guys mean by connecting it to itunes.
Could you guys give me step by step help?
Oh and i have a VISO computer.........:)

A 1G (orignal iPOd tpuch) can only go to iOS 3.1.3 and you get that here:
Purchasing iOS 3.1 Software Update for iPod touch (1st generation)
A 2G, secondend gemeratioon can only go to iOS 4.2.1
A 3G and 4G can go to the current iOS 5.1.1
Malke sure that you have the latest iTunes which is 10.6

My itouch recently froze, i was told the only way of saving it is to reset it to it's original settings. I have important photos & notes on there that I can't lose. When you connect your ipod to itunes does it save that information?

You can sync with one and only one computer at a time. Sycning to another will indeed erase the content from the ipod and replace with content from the new computer.
You should copy everything from the old computer to the new one. -
