How do you convert a swf or mp4 file into flv using creative cloud programs?

I am trying to embed a video as HTML5 with Flash fallback into my Dreamwaver site and only have the swf file of the video.
Please let me know if you have any ideas about how to convert a swf or mp4 file into flv, without loosing pixels and quality of the swf file.

If you have MP4 video, you can use Pickle Player which has built-in Flash fallback for Mozilla. No conversions required .

When I upgraded from LV 2012 to LV 2013 SP1 my NI OPC Servers 2012 was also involuntarily upgraded to 2013. Now my shared variables don't work. How do you migrate or convert a 2012 *.opf file to 2013? The only clue given by the software Help file is a hint that ProgID Redirect can be used, but there is no explantion of how or where to find this feature or how to use it!

I set up a system that had LabVIEW 2012 along with NI OPC Servers 2012 and upgraded it to 2013. I found that the .opf file I created from NI OPC Servers 2012 was able to be opened by NI OPC Servers 2013 without any issues and I was able to access the tags from a LabVIEW project. However, one difference between our setups is that I did not upgrade my project from LabVIEW 2012 to 2013 - I create a new project in LabVIEW 2013.
Are you getting any error message when you try to open the .opf file in NI OPC Servers 2013? Or did it seem to import correctly? What if you try to create new bindings for a few shared variables rather than using your existing shared variables (just to see if it works)? Perhaps some of the references just need to be updated.

What codec to convert .MXF and MP4 files into to use with alpha channels in Ae and Pr CS6?

When I import .mxf File, shot on a Canon C300, into after effects, the alpha channel options are greyed out, when I look in, interpret footage, main. This also is the case importing .MP4 files, shot on a Gopro hero 3. I used to use final cut and using compressor convert the files to pro res 4444 or 422. What's my new workflow for preparing files with alpha channels to use in After Effect and Premiere and do I use Media Encoder to do it?

Better question: Where do you expect that Alpha channel to come from and contain any useful info for transparency? You're making a fuss over a non-issue. Unless you apply keying or other methods of creating transparency, even if there were an Alpha channel it would be fully opaque and then what's the point?

How do i convert a Logic 4.7 file into a Logic 7.2?

I've recorded an album with my old G4 using Logic Pro 4.7 and a Korg 1212 audio interface a few years back.
Now i've loaded it into my MacBook Pro using Logic Pro 7.2 and the MOTU Traveler. it opens the arrangement but obviously all plugins aren't working because i used the Korg 1212 interface before. Once i change to CoreAudio, all the plugins on that channel strip disappear. I realized that Logic uses AU now but how can i convert the 4.7 songs with the VST plugins into 7.2 songs?
Would it make sense to open the 4.7 songs with Logic 5.5, then save again and re-open it with 7.2?

You would have to have EVERY VST plugin available also as an AU plugin.And it still probably would not work,because logic is SO different than what it was in version 4.The code for most of it has been optimized for g5 and Intel processors,which weren't around in version 4.That alone will change it too much to just open it up straight away.
I would open the old version,if possible,on the old logic version,and then render each MIDI into audio,and get the settings for each plugin.Tons o' work,but if you really MUST do this,to me,it's the only way to ensure it plays back the same as before.
Personally,I like to render each track after a final mix into it's own track,with FX included except for reverbs/delays,as an additional copy of the song.Afterwards,I can playback these copies,all at 0dB on their respective faders,and get a very close facsimile of the mix.I just have to add the reverb and delay effects,and I'm there.

This Apple function from Numbers '08 Help "Importing a Document" does not seem to work:
"You can create a new Numbers spreadsheet by importing a document created in Microsoft Excel or AppleWorks 6. Numbers can also import files in comma-separated value (CSV) format, tab-delimited format, and Open Financial Exchange (OFX) format."
No amount of experimenting with Import, Export, Save As, Paste and Match Style, or using other applications will enable importing CSV, tab, or OFX files into multiple Numbers columns. Instead, all data is imported into a single Numbers column, which then has to be manually and tediously parsed one data element at a time into columns, one row, and one column at a time.

How can I import data from a csv file into databse using utl_file?

I have two machines (os is windows and database is oracle 10g) that are not connected to each other and both are having the same database schema but data is all different.
Now on one machine, I want to take dump of all the tables into csv files. e.g. if my table name is test then the exported file is test.csv and if the table name is sample then csv file name is sample.csv and so on.
Now I want to import the data from these csv files into the tables on second machine. if I've 50 such csv files, then data should be written to 50 tables.
I am new to this. Could anyone please let me know how can I import data back into tables. i can't use sqlloader as I've to satisfy a few conditions while loading the data into tables. I am stuck and not able to proceed.
Please let me know how can I do this.

Why you want to export into .csv file.Why not export/import? What is your oracle version?

How do you convert a SWF to JPEG?

We have 10,000 SWFs (and their FLAs), but need to create a
JPEG of each SWF to see a thumbnail of them in a DAM.
Aside from the very manual method (make screenshot of the
SWF, resize it and convert it to a JPEG in Photoshop/Bridge) what
are my options in order to either A) automate this process OR B)
come up with another process using either the CS2 or CS3 suites?
If there is another process to do this, what would this be?
Remember, I am starting with a SWF and I want a JPEG, but I
am keeping both. I have seen plenty of information on how to embedd
JPEGs into SWFs, but I am not interested.

You say you have their FLA's. The image should be in the FLA
right? The original is linked inside as well right so you should
already have the original somewhere that you could work from
instead of going through the FLA file. Now, if you added other
graphics and so forth to in the FLA and want to export that
instead, goto file/export/export image and select JPEG Image.
Not sure if you can automate this though. You might be able
to make an Applescript to do this, perhaps. Otherwise I suggest
getting some interns in there ;-)

How do you convert absolute paths to external files to relative paths?

I have a TOC PDF document that contains approximately 200 links to other external PDF files. The other files are located in the same directory as the linking PDF. However, when the links were done, I accidentally created the links in a copy of the PDF on the file server, *not* the one in the same directory as the target PDFs.
So now the links in the TOC PDF all have an absolute network path embedded in the link such as "/D/projects/assets/PDF/targetFile.pdf", whereas they should only be "/targetFile.pdf". Is there a way to easily change these? I don't relish the notion of having to walk through the document and manually fixing each one.
I tried forceably editing the PDF file in a binary editor, but this caused the document structure and fonts to get out of whack -- though the links worked.
Any recommendations? I will consider a commercial product if one exists!

I think you are barking up the wrong tree...
Let's say you have a 10 second clip of PAL material:
10 seconds x 25 fps = 250 frames
If properly converted to NTSC:
10 seconds x 30 fps = 300 frames
The only difference is the number of frames, NOT THE LENGTH OF THE CLIP! It is still 10 seconds long.
10 seconds of audio x 44.1 kHz = 441 thousand samples
or
10 seconds of audio x 48 kHz = 480 thousand samples
or
10 seconds of audio at 22.05 kHz = 220.5 thousand samples
The only difference is the number of samples. NOT THE LENGTH OF THE AUDIO. It is still 10 seconds long.
If you have drift, then there is something wrong in your conversion. You can't take a 25 fps clip, tell it to play at 30 fps and expect it to be the same length. There are multi-thousand $$$ transcoders that do that job.

Set iTunes Preferences Advanced Import to MP3
Select all the tracks you're referring to
CTRL-Click onto this selection - "Convert to MP3"
After that you may want to delete the non-MP3 source files

I guess that problem is the video file is not inside the "/DCIM" folder

Can anyone help me how to make this sync from camera to iphoto automatically both photo and video ?
At this moment , I do this manually by drag files from that folder ( /MP_ROOT/101MNV01/ ) into iphoto .
This problem also bother me while I am using iPod + Camera connector to transfer the file when I am out for the traveling .
