How do you convert arabic format to English format in InDesign so bullets are on the left side?

I received a document from a client to work on that was created in InDesign with english format. For some reason, when they sent it to me the bullets were converted to arabic format, so they are on the left side not right. Is there an easy way to convert it back?

  • How do you convert a movie in .DAT format so its iPhone ready

    I'm on a current MAC BOOK PRO syncing with a iPhone 3Gs. I can play the .DAT movie in VLC on my MAC BOOK but cant work out how to get it into my iPhone. I cant open it with QT
    Any idea anyone?

    Does the DVD play like on a normal DVD player? Trying to find out if you have a real DVD formatted video.
    If you just copied off the data, that is not how to take a DVD to a computer. It has to be converted off.
    You said it is a personal video he made so if that is the case, look up Handbrake on Google as it can convert it for you. Even has setting for iPhone.
    Use the DVD he gave you as I don't know what is up with that DAT file.

  • How do you convert numeric values into english words?

    I am interested in creating a field in adobe acrobat that references a total dollar amount field. I want the java script to convert the numeric number into a written word, such as $59.59 as Fifty Nine and 59/100. I have no experience writing java script code and would really like some help on how this can get done. Its also important to embed in the programming that if their is no numeric value to reference, then nothing get referenced. This means an empty text box. Thanks for any help.

    Im using the below script...... I'm a complete novice at this and helping a friend out with it.
    Any info is appreciated.
    aTens = [ "Twenty", "Thirty", "Forty", "Fifty", "Sixty", "Seventy", "Eighty", "Ninety"];
    aOnes = [ "Zero", "One", "Two", "Three", "Four", "Five", "Six", "Seven", "Eight", "Nine",
      "Ten", "Eleven", "Twelve", "Thirteen", "Fourteen", "Fifteen", "Sixteen", "Seventeen", "Eighteen",
      "Nineteen" ];
    function ConvertToHundreds(num)
       var cNum, nNum;
       var cWords = "";
       num %= 1000;
       if (num > 99) {
          /* Hundreds. */
          cNum = String(num);
          nNum = Number(cNum.charAt(0));
          cWords += aOnes[nNum] + " Hundred";
          num %= 100;
          if (num > 0)
             cWords += " and "
       if (num > 19) {
          /* Tens. */
          cNum = String(num);
          nNum = Number(cNum.charAt(0));
          cWords += aTens[nNum - 2];
          num %= 10;
          if (num > 0)
             cWords += "-";
       if (num > 0) {
          /* Ones and teens. */
          nNum = Math.floor(num);
          cWords += aOnes[nNum];
       return cWords;
    function ConvertToWords(num)
       var aUnits = [ "Thousand", "Million", "Billion", "Trillion", "Quadrillion" ];
       var cWords = (num >= 1 && num < 2) ? "Dollar and " : "Dollars and ";
       var nLeft = Math.floor(num);
       for (var i = 0; nLeft > 0; i++) {
           if (nLeft % 1000 > 0) {
              if (i != 0)
                 cWords = ConvertToHundreds(nLeft) + " " + aUnits[i - 1] + " " + cWords;
              else
                 cWords = ConvertToHundreds(nLeft) + " " + cWords;
           nLeft = Math.floor(nLeft / 1000);
       num = Math.round(num * 100) % 100;
       if (num > 0)
          cWords += ConvertToHundreds(num) + " Cents";
       else
          cWords += "Zero Cents";
       return cWords;
    You can use the following script for the custom calculation for the words field when the number field is named "Number":
    event.value = "";
    var f = this.getField("Number");
    if(f.valueAsString != "") {
    event.value = ConvertToWords(f.value);

  • How can you convert an image to ydbr format?

    Hello all. I can not work out how to simply input an image and convert it to ycbr and save it as a new image.
    Can anyone help please?
    Kind Regards

    OK I have also found this code:
    public static void rgb2ycbcr(int r, int g, int b, int[] ycbcr) {
              int y = (int)( 0.299 * r + 0.587 * g + 0.114 * b);
              int cb = (int)(-0.16874 * r - 0.33126 * g + 0.50000 * b);
              int cr = (int)( 0.50000 * r - 0.41869 * g - 0.08131 * b);
              ycbcr[0] = y;
              ycbcr[1] = cb;
              ycbcr[2] = cr;
    However I have no idea of how to use it. The source did not specify what all the parameters are. How can I use this in my code from a bufferedimage to displaying the new image?
    Thanks again.
    Looking forward to your answers (3 more Dukes added)

  • Converting an MP3 to WAV -- How can I convert an MP3 to wav format, 16 bit

    How can I convert an MP3 to wav format, 16 bit, 44,1 khz? I like the program Switch which I know can convert MP3s, but how to I set it up for the specific settings that I need?

    Just import into a logic session. Then bounce at the specs you require. Logic or Waveburner, iTunes and even Quicktime I think can each do this easily.
    A question though. I am assuming you are converting an MP3 to 44.1/16 bit just so you can play the file in a consumer quality CD player?? IF so - that makes sense.
    But if you are doing this because you think it will improve the sound quality of your MP3, I will save you some time here. It won't improve the sound quality at all. It will just turn the MP3 into a larger audio file.
    44.1/16 bit resolution enables you to have a much better sounding file than MP3 formats, but not by going at it this way.
    No offense to you if you know all of this already. I am assuming that you may not know this - because if you did you would also likely know how to convert an audio file.
    Cheers
    Darrell

  • Final Cut Express 4.0.1 How do I convert MP4 to a usable format without loosing quality

    Final Cut Express 4.0.1 How do I convert MP4 to a usable format without loosing quality

    If you shoot in one of the following modes you should be able to Log & Transfer directly into FCE:
    HD:  1920x1080/60i (FX or FH mode)
    HD:  1440x1080/60i (HQ or LP mode)
    SD:  720x480/60i
    1080/60p (PS mode) seems to be the default mode in your camcorder.  FCE only supports progressive video in 720p50 or 720p60.   That's probably why you have had to import via iMovie.
    It would be better to upgrade to Final Cut Pro X, the version currently supported.  FCE was discontinued over 18 months ago and is not supported on Lion or Mountain Lion.

  • HOW DO YOU CONVERT IPHOTO 8.1 TO APERTURE FILE FORMATT

    how do you convert iphoto 8.1.2 photos to aperture file formatt?

    I believe this is still possible if the iPhoto library has not been up graded.
    No joy, Frank. This is what I get, when I try to import an older iPhoto Library into Aperture 3.4.3 using "File > Import > Library":
    Aperture 3.4.x insists on the library being converted to 9.4.x. To be able to import earlier iPhoto Libraries you would have to fall back on Aperture 3.2.x; temporarily install a second, older Aperture version, create a new Aperture library with this version, import the iPhoto Libraries, then open this Aperture library in Aperture 3.4.3 to convert it to a current version.
    bertpa, how many iphoto photos are we talking abourt? If you are having several iPhoto libraries with thousands of edited photos, it really would be worth it to upgrade to iPhoto 9.4 to convert your libraries. iPhoto 9.4 will convert your library to a format with Master-version pairs like aperture uses. If you import this to Aperture, you will be able to import each edited image as a single image with two versions (original and edited)- importing from previous iPhoto versions you would be importing each edited image as two separate images - an edited image and the original. This would be wasteful, if you have many photos in Aperture, and it would cause a lot of additional work to get these duplicates sorted out. But if you only have a handful of iPhoto images, launch iPhoto and use the "File > Export" command to export your photos from iPhoto to a folder. You will have to do it twice - once to export the originals and once to export the edited versions. Then import your exported iPhoto photos into Aperture.

  • How do you convert a Modbus Datatype TIME in Lookout

    How do you convert a Modbus Variable with a Datatype of TIME in a Lookout Expression to display MMS.

    The URL provided above must be an internal N.I. link - for us folks on the outside it's
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/1A3BB7B3299C11C78625680C004DA744
    I use a time_to_word function in the modicon when I need to display a data type of time in Lookout. What you get when looking at the register with the modbus object in Lookout is the time in msecs - just divide by 1000 to get the seconds. But you must 'build' the display for minutes, hours, etc. The numeric displays in Lookout are not
    based on seconds, they are based on days as the above knowledge base article indicates. The following will work on a word read from the modicon, and may or may not work with a data type of time. The expression
    (Modbus1.400001/86400000)
    first takes the number in msecs and divides by the number of msecs in a day. This puts the number into a fraction of a day that Lookout can then display using the numeric formats such as "HH:MMS". I know it’s a little clumsy to divide that number for every time value – but hopefully you don’t have a lot of these expressions. Hope this helps.
