How do you convert the electronic serial number for the charger to the one printed on the charger?

I am trying to figure out how to convert the serial number reported by system_profiler for the power adapter to the serial number that is printer on the charger when you remove the plug adapter.
It appears that both are unique numbers, but I can't seem to figure out how to convert from one to the other.

I am trying to inventory and track over 300 student laptops at a school. The chargers sometimes get swapped Or taken. I can collect the electronic number automaticly but I am looking for a way to correlate this to the number we have on record from the charger.

after testing i signed the contracted and i am paying
the mail with the serial number got lost
both apps are working on my imac
now the should be installed on my book
there are no informations in creative cloud about my problem.

Berndh38291059 what version of Photoshop and Lightroom are you installing? Do you receive any specific error messages?

No... if you do not have CS3 installed, you will enter your CS3 serial number when asked for proof of a qualifying product... and then you will enter your different CS5 serial number... every version, new or upgrade, has a unique serial number

You should be able to. Just deactivate your copy of CS5 on your old computer. Open one of the applications and choose Help > Deactivate.

I have design standard and was told I can use the same serial number on multiple computers. How many time can I use it? And say I install it on the maximum number of computers, but get a new computer, can I uninstall it on one of the old computers and use it on the new one? And can I use the programs on both computers simultaneously or do I have to use them one at a time?

Sorry Fred you are wrong.
If you have a single license you can install it on as many computers as you like. you can only activate the suite on two computers at anyone time. Work and Home or as many of us do it Desktop and Laptop. You can not use the computers simultaneously. You only have 20 activation/deactivations so use them wisely. Student versions only have one activation. You can not break up the suite installs the suite is considered one application.

How do you add an additional serial number to TestStand logfile name?

I have two boards that are tested as a pair and I would like to have the log name show both serial numbers for tracking purposes. The logfile name is currently set up to show the serial number of the mainboard. I put the second serial number into a StationGlobal after it is scanned it in. How can I add the second serial number to the logfile name?

I have found a Community Example that demonstrates how to modify the report name in Report Options. The pictures may not show exactly what you see If you are using TestStand 2012, but the steps are essentially the same. I hope this helps!

My problem is that my mac is falling apart and I don't know how long it's still working - can be hours or can be months. I'm not sure if my next computer is mac or PC, so I'd like to know if the same serial number can be used with both mac and PC? I have understod that I can delete the program from my old computer and then use the same serial number in my next computer (Is it working that way?). So if I now buy a lisence for mac, can I use the same lisence later with PC?

A friend of my bought a refurbished Satallite L875D-S7232 in March 2013. Unforunately the Toshiba HD drive failed and as it had also the recovery partition on it we are not even able to reinstall win7 home onto a new hard drive.
Therefore I tried to use the Microsoft recovery download site but when I entered the product key it came up that this product key is an OEM version and I need to get in contact with the laptops brand.
Therefore I tried the Toshiba laptop but unfortunately that wants the serial number which I can't find and looking online I got the hint that you take them off if the computer gets refurbished. Now the question would be how I can get hold onto the legal version of Win7 home which my friend bought when she paid for the laptop? Maybe I have a chance to find the computers serial number somehow?
The win OEM product key would be MJ2V3-VG7V8-F4YTF-WQ672-KHRF4.

The serial numbers shouldn't be removed from refurbished models. It should be on the same label with model and part numbers.

Can you get a new serial number for Logic Studio?

so i just bought Logic Studio from a friend and i successfully installed it onto my mid 2012 13-inch MacBook Pro (entry level). Problem is that after the software was installed, i opened one of the applications that came with the bundle (Logic Pro) and it requested me to enter my serial number. I typed the right one and it didnt let me in. I tried to do that with all the other applications that came with Logic Studio but none of the apps let me in even though i tried more than a bunch of times.
So my question is: can you get a NEW serial number?
if not, then is there another solution that wont require me to download hack files?
