How do you copy music one at a time without syncing to a usb drive or from phone to itunes?

How do you only copy a few songs I dont get it! Please help!!

Syncing it's one way street, computer iTunes to iPhone (except content bought from the iTunes & App Stores).
To sync muisc from computer iTunes to iPhone:
1> Connect and select iPhone in computer iTunes left sidebar
2> Select the Music tab, and select all the songs you want to sync to iPhone (As many or as few, you don't have to load all 30 GB of music)
3> Click the Sync button.
If the music on iPhone is not from/on your computer iTunes, you need a 3rd party software to upload it to the computer.

I tried connecting it to a new computer but i can't copy the music to the ipod using itunes.
No, you won't be able to do it that way. Music is intended to go from your computer to the iPod. Going the other way is contrary to the design and is not trivial. To extract music from your iPod requires the assistance of third party utilities.
If you purchased music from the iTunes Store, no worries, you can simply download it again with the one caveat that the music is still available in the Store.
Due to the prevalence of viruses and other crud that infests Windows computers, there are many questions every day on Apple Support about Windows computers that crashed, leaving iPods, iPhones and iPads without their backup. Macs are not totally immune from crashes but they are much rarer, and every Mac sold has software that makes the tedium of backing up your data completely forgettable. All you need is an external storage device - an external hard disk or a Time Capsule. The Mac takes care of everything else.
If you replace your crashed notebook with another Windows box it is just a matter of time before this happens again.
Until then read this helpful guide. There may be hope for you yet: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141

  • How do I copy music files in Apple Lossless format on to a flash drive so I can play on a digital media player.

I have an iMac 21", running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, processor is 2.7GHz Intel Core i%, Memory 8GB 1333MHz.
I would like to copy some of my iTunes music in Apple Lossless or AIFF to a flash drive which I would like to insert into a digital media player in my home Hi Fi system. How do I copy the files in these formats. Thank you.

Drag the song files there, either from the iTunes application window or the iTunes Media folder in the Finder.

  • How do you copy a Symbol to other fla without importing it?

If I try to copy or move a symbol from one fla to another, it
automatically gets imported, i.e. in the new fla the symbol has in
its properties a source pointer, to where it was taken from. How
can i copy a symbol for real, or "clone" it, into another fla
library, without importing it? If I go to an imported symbols
properties, how can I cancel the source option? I don't see a
button for removing the source pointer.
There has to be some way to make the symbol an independent
symbol without any relation to its source fla???

Funny thing is, both if i copy and paste the symbol, or drag
it from another library, the symbol in the destination .fla gets
"imported" with information about its source (in the symbol
properties). I guess either my Flash has some funny settings, or is
not working as it is supposed to?? Maybe I should reinstall it. I
have found one way to break the "import" by making "duplicate" of
the symbol, and then deleting the original, and renaming the
duplicate back to the original name. Of course, this method is too
tedious if I wanna copy hundreds of symbols.

  • How can you copy/share one mailbox? (Not all)

I use mailboxes within Mail to sort/file project specific emails.
I now need to share just one of these mailboxes with another colleague overseas (also on Mac).  If I right-click / export will this erase the copy of the mailbox on my machine?   I can't find a simple copy function.  I need to keep my copy... I am running 10.9 since yesterday...
    Thanks

I don't know how it will help you. But you could always make a Rule...
Preferneces---> Rules---> Add Rule---> and play around with the settings on there. I don't know how you would determine what gets forward though.
Perform the Following Actions---> Forward to your colleague's email address.

  • How do you Install Win XP using Boot Camp without use of an optical drive?

So I'm about at my wits end. I'm try to get Windows XP on my OS 10.5.5 MacBook Pro. I've run into what seems to be a bit of a dead in. Unfortunately my optical drive has gone stupid on me and won't allow me to get through the entire set-up. The Mac has know trouble seeing the Installation Disc. After my partition has been created and I click start Windows Installer, the computer reboots in a normal fashion up to when you get the apple with spinning progress wheel. At this point the screen goes black and I get a "-" blinking in the top right corner of the screen. I figure it's just trying to boot from Win Install disk but it just kinda sits there. So here's my question. Is there some way to boot this Windows Installation from anything else but the CD? I luckily have an image of the WinXP CD in about 5 formats. I'm going absolutely crazy because I had just Installed WinXP not more than an hour before I ran into this initial problem but wanted to change the WinXP partition to FAT 32 as opposed to the NTSC format I accidently used. I would really appriciate any help in my dark hour.
    System Info
    MacBook Pro 4.1
    Mac OS 10.5.5
    Bootcamp 2.1
Windows XP with Service Pack 2
    HL-DT-ST DVDRW GSA-S10N
System was just recently re-installed with fresh copy of a software and updates.

    Kirkdan:
I really would like to help you and get your issue resolved in your dark hour as you said. I am afraid that I do not have good news for you. This is because the limitation put on by this entire process of installing Windows via boot camp.
The answer to you question to install windows from any other medium other than your built-in optical drive is a NO. This won't work since once Windows begins to install then it will not have all the drivers installed to recognize the external CD drive (USB/Firewire) and installation will halt.

how do i copy music from one ipod to another with 1 cord?

You cannot copy content directly from one iPod to another. If the music was purchased from the iTunes Store, you have the following options:
    - sync the iPod to your computer, transfer the content to iTunes, and then connect the other iPod and sync from iTunes
    - use iCloud (which requires iOS 5).
    - download the music from from the iTunes Store to the second iPod. See:

  • HT1386 How do I copy music from an old iPod?  Why do you have to make things so difficult?  These are my files that I paid for but once I put them on your devices, I no longer have control over them.  I've wasted so much time on these stupid problems.

Thanks, Deggie. I thought Apple would see my feedback.  I would just like to know if there is a simple way to copy just a few music files from an old iPod.  I saw instructions on how to copy all of them from the iPod but it was complicated and I really didn't want to copy all the songs.  I guess I could delete all the songs but the ones I want to copy then go through that process again.  Do you know how to back up music to my computer?  I don't want to have to go through this again and possibly lose music.

  • How do you copy automation from one track to another?

How do you copy automation from one track to another? Occassionally I mistakenly blow away a track's automation. I open up an earlier version of the song to try to get the automation. It doesn't seem that you can copy and paste the data. After some struggle, I find a way. Is there an easy way?

    1. Copy the track containing the desired automation to another track. (create a track below it to keep things organized)
    2. Double click on the region and delete the notes.
    3. Now copy the region to the desired track.
P.S. Of course when Logic asks if you want to copy the automation data you say yes)
