How do you correct error 13019, my iPod won't sync with my Library?

I keep trying to sync my iPod and at first I thought it was due to some songs that wouldn't load from my computer, so I deleted those. But it still keeps popping up saying "iPod could not sync due to unknown error 13019" how do I fix this? Help me out, bros!

  • 2nd IPOD won't sync with original library

How do I sync with an existing library. I bought a second Ipod to travel with but cannot copy over any of my purchased songs.

Why not? What happens when you plug it in? It should be able to sync out of your library just like your other iPod. So tell us how exactly you are trying to do it and what happens when you do.

how can you upload a movie to I tunes then sync with Ipad2?

There are several options to choose from its either you will buy directly from itunes which go directly to movie. Another option is that convert first your movie to mpeg4 by using any converter software, then after converted drga the file (movie) to itunes library. Next thing you will do is to click your account (your ipad device) then look movie tabs then check sync movies.

  • I am trying to put the music from my ipod onto my new computer. After installing itunes and connecting my ipod touch a message comes up saying that my ipod is already synced with another library. What can I do to sync it with a new library?

I recently got a new computer and got rid of my old one. I am trying to put the music from my ipod touch onto my new computer but keep getting a message saying that my ipod is already synced with a library and cannot be synced with more than one. How do I access that library on my new computer and if I can't are their other ways for me to put the music on my ipod into my new computer?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.
There is 3rd party software out there, but not supported by Apple, see this thread:http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2013615&tstart=0

  • IPod Touch "already synced with another library", Corrupt Backup?

I plugged my iPod into the only PC it's ever been plugged into today, and it came up with "This Ipod is already synced with another library" when I tried to sync it. I tried a variety of solutions I found on the internet, but none seemed to work.
So, I decided to give in and do "Erase and Sync". Before I did that, however, I created a new encrypted backup of the iPod using the option in the iPod summary window. I erased the iPod and re-synced, so it has all of my music and apps on it now.
However, whenever I try to restore from the backup, I get a message akin to "The restore cannot complete due to an error" (with no identification of the error. Immediately following this, the iPod begins to say "This iPod is already synced with another library" again, and I'm forced to start over.
The iPod is in a workable condition - all of my music and apps were saved, after all. However, none of my settings are in place, and I would really like to avoid having to set everything up again. Is there a way to un-corrupt the backup (or undo whatever has happened to it) so that I can get my settings back? Or am I out of luck?

I think that, for some reason, none of the backups that were being made are listed any longer. The only ones listed are four that have timestamps after I erased, one with the earliest timestamp that's the encrypted backup, and another without a time stamp that I'm also assuming is later. I might give that one a try, but I'm not sure that it will work...

  • My library says my Ipod has been synced with another library, but it hasn't.

My Itunes library is saying that my Ipod isn't synced with that library and I have to erase and sync it. I haven't synced my Ipod to another library. I already erased and synced it again once, and now it's doing the same thing (and it deleted all the playlists I created on my library, but they're still on my Ipod). I don't want to have to erase and sync again, and lose my playlists. Why is it doing that?

  • IPod won't sync with iTunes on Windows 7/64 bit PC

I just updated my PC to Windows 7/64 bit. iPod will not sync with iTunes. I have uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes, and tried all the suggestions on the Internet (except restoring the iPod, too scary; and modifying registry on the PC, too too scary). The device thinks it has the most current software. The iPod tries to connect and appears briefly but then disconnects. A Windows message appears asking the following: "Do you want to scan and fix My iPod? There might be a problem with some files on this device or disc. This can happen if you remove the device or disc before all files have been written to it." If I tell it yes to scan it gives another error message that is it not recognized. If I tell it to skip the scan, the device disconnects and nothing happens. No syncing. I am at a loss as to how to fix this. Has anyone encountered this type of issue and if so - how did you resolve it. I don't want to restore the iPod as I do not know if it will ever connect and sync again and all the music on it now would be lost and the device would be useless. Thank you in advance for your suggestions. Tikimom

  • 5th Generation iPod won't sync with iMac iTunes 9

PLEASE help.  5th generation 8GB iPod will not sync with iTunes 9 on my iMac OSx 10.4.11.  Hubby rebooted system and now I have zero songs on my iPod. I have restored iPod to factory settings and still zero songs.  Itunes says sync complete everything looks good but iPod still says zero songs.  Tried using new user account on iMac and going into iPod disk mode...no success.  Also tried restoring playlist from PC running windows 7 still nothing.   Please help...must have my tunes back asap...THANK YOU anyone who can help.

Have you had a chance to look at this troubleshooting page? If not, have a look at the bottom section that covers what to try if the message keeps reappearing: iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode - Use iTunes to restore
Towards the end it says "If after restoring your iPod, the message described above reappears, the iPod drive letter may need to be reassigned. See the "Change the Drive Letter" section of this document for steps to assign a different drive letter" which contains a link to this article: Windows confuses iPod with network drive and iTunes may exhibit strange behavior in relation to the iPod.

  • 3rd Gen Ipod won't sync with Itunes since upgrade to Snow Leopard

    Hi,
I upgraded from Tiger to Snow Leopard and since then my trusty 3rd Gen Ipod will not sync with iTunes (9.0.3). It mounts in Finder, but does not appear in iTunes. The iPod will still charge, but it constantly displays the "Do Not Disconnect" message until manually ejected.
    Any help gratefully received.

  • Ipod won't sync with Itunes even after restore

    Hiya,
When I plug my ipod into my computer, it recognises it's there, but it won't sync with the ipod & update the music on it.
I restored the ipod using itunes so now there's absolutely nothing on my ipod at all, but it still won't sync with itunes, so I have a completely blank ipod...
I've only had it for about 3 months so am not impressed...
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Miranda

My was doing the same thing. But I figured out how to fix it. My computer was not recognizing the IPOD so I had to reset the drive letter. Click on Start, then go to the Control Panel, Click on Adminstration tools, Click on Computer Management, on the left hand side of your screen pick Disk Management from the box, it will take a few seconds then it will pull up a list of all your computer drives, highlight your Ipod, then right click and change drive letter or path, I changed it to "I" for ipod. My computer then recognized my Ipod. I opened up itunes and my sync worked then.
