How Do You Create Artist Separation In iTunes Playlists?

I find that some of the time the same artist will play back to back in my Playlists on iTunes. How do you adjust 'Playlists" to NOT play artists back to back and give the playlist "artist seperation?

Once an item is in your download queue, you cannot stop it.
Let the download complete and then delete the unwanted item.

Well, I don't want to buy an optical drive if I buy a new Mac without one. However, iTunes will not allow "burning" a playlist to anything except a real optical drive.
Now, I am not running Mountain Lion so I don't know if iTunes for Mountain Lion allows it or not - could someone please let me know if it is possible.
For me, on Snow Leopard, I cannot find a way to burn, create, duplicate - whatever you want to call it - a playlist to a virtual drive, a USB drive - nothing but a physical drive.
It just makes me wonder if iTunes provides (will provide) an alternative when there is no physical drive included.

For Example my parents have used the same itunes login to download all there music and apps, since before iCloud came into existence but now that they both have 5S' they dont want to share all of there icloud stuff like photos and app downloads because they dont all the same apps.

If you go to the artist's/group's page in the store then you should be able to do it e.g. search for the artist in the store, and on the right-hand side of the results page there should be list of content categories that match that search, and below it a link for the artist
Click on the artist's name to go to a screen listing their items, and at the top right of that screen there should be a 'share' icon'
Click on that and on the popup you should have an option for 'alert me' (I haven't used it but I assume that it works).
You can see what alerts that you have, and remove them, by logging into your account via the Store > View Account menu option - on your account's screen there should be an Alerts link

My daughter and I both have Ipods, and want to setup SEPARATE accounts. Itunes 7 worked great, but now when we 'upgraded' to 8, it MERGED all our files. First, let's make it easier to swap between accounts. In the Accounts pane of System Preferences click on the Login Options (after unlocking the pane). Enable fast user switching. This will put a new menu in the top right of the screen. You can then swap to the other account without having to log out of the current one.
Log into the original account. Select the folder you want access from the other account and choose Get Info from the file menu. There is a section called Sharing & Permissions. You will need to click on the padlock to make changes. Click on the + to add permissions for the other user account by selecting the user account from list that appears. Set the permission for that account to read only. Once you have it listed then choose the "Apply to enclosed items" from the gear menu below the list. This should give you access from the other account to that folder and any folders contained in it.
For iTunes you will want to do this to the Music folder, giving you access to the files below. From within iTunes you can select Add to Library from the file menu, and then select the music from the other account to that account's iTunes library. Once you have set up the new library whoever's library is the original can clean up the library to remove any music they don't want (now that it's in the new account).

I can download, create a playlist with both music and music video, stream that through the Apple TV with no problem. The sound and the information show up on the TV, but when it gets to a music video, it only shows the information and "artwork".
I also have a video playlist - videos play fine through the Apple TV, but will not shuffle through all videos - continues to repeat the same one. I have most definitely selected shuffle in both locations - from the playlist and on the ipod video screen while video is playing.

I finally got it... had to sync the photos with the music in iMovie, arrange the voiceover in GarageBand then export to iTunes, and then I was able to put it all together in iMovie and burn in iDVD... had a few glitches along the way but finally finished : )

OK. The easy explanation:
Mac OS X is a UNIX based operating system and like all other UNIX operating systems, its usage is controlled by permissions. Which user has some, all or no permission to read, write to and otherwise modify files and folders. Applications also have or do not have certain permissions.
In Mac OS X "Library" folder is a sub folder called "Receipts". When software is installed using Apple's Installer application it deposits a .pkg file in Receipts, containing information about the software and what it's permissions should be.
If for some reason those permissions are corrupted or changed to something they should not be, using Disk Utility to repair permissions compares what the current permissions are with the information contained in the .pkg files. Should Disk Utility find differences, it uses the information to correct those permissions.
Disk Utility does not repair permissions on applications that are installed via another routine, such as a custom installer or drag and drop. Neither does it repair permissions on any files or folders that you create.

You do not have to move it as such. Here are the steps to setup HomeSharing
1) Ctrl B to turn on the top menu
2) File > Home Sharing > Create Home Share enter your apple id and password, click create
3) repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other computer and create home share using the same apple id and password
On your new machine if you have turned on the left hand sidebar the Shared Library should be about halfway down like this.
Select the songs you want and click import at the bottom right. If you want all songs then I would select one song nad Ctrl A to select all
Finally if you have a lot of songs to transfer Switch off the wifi on the old computer. Leave the wifi on the new one. Connect with an ehternet network cable. The copying speed is way faster.
Click import and grab a coffee
