Thank you for contacting me, however I already know how to save text to
audio files via timeline using the Export feature.
So my question was not entirely clear and I apologize for that. To explain
further, whenever I save a text to audio file, captivate takes me to a
default save as folder where I then have browse back to my production
folder where I am keeping all my Txt to Aud files. This is very tedious
process when you have alot of files to save. So my question was is there a
way to configure captivate so I can make my production folder the default
file for whenever I save a Txt to Audio file through Export feature that
the system automatically takes me to that production folder, and I am
spared the long tedious process of saving the file manually to the
prodcution folder I want.
I have copy the pathway to the production folder in the URL filed in the
Save As dialoge box and that workaround as cut the work down but I still
have to paste that URL field to point the file to the right folder. So it
would be nice if I could do everything automatically. Microsoft makes this
capability in their MS Office applications, so I was thinking Adobe might
do the same thing. Your help with this would be appreicated,

every time I do it it comes out at a fraction of the size and not even an A size...

A0 is pretty big if you go at a high DPI for printing. It's about 10000 x 14000 pixels at 300 DPI.
PS Touch can handle about 12 Megapixel image imports (which is about 4000 x 3000 pixels). PS Touch, interestingly, can create 4096 x 4096 pixel projects from scratch.
Adding to that, PS Touch always exports at 72 DPI. Take note that this is probably due to tablet hardware. Tablet hardware is "getting there" but it still has a ways to go before it matches its desktop cousin.

No, not at this time, sorry. (Be aware that even if it did, I wouldn't expect you'd get to work with many layers due to the hardware limitations of tablets. You can only work with 12 layers max as it is. Just a heads up.) JPEG, PNG, GIF, PSD, & PSDX are supported.

You have to purchase the app separately if you want to use it on a tablet. The "Photoshop Touch for phone" would be the correct one for the Note2

QUICK QUESTION: how do you create letter designs in Photoshop or Illustrator to acrylic cut?

I don't want to create this exact design but this is what I am looking to do. I want to cut and design acrylic and i was told to use photoshop or acrylic but I am not exactly sure how to do this. If you would like to help, We could just use the simple word: "bunny". How do I create that black outline as well?

Illustrator is probably the better program to do something like that in. However I don't have Illustrator and Photoshop has layers, text tools, fonts, layer styles and shape layers. CS6 even let you convert text into shape layers. So something like that would not be that difficult to create in Photoshop. You may want to look at Linked Letters [Logo or Monogram ]which was done before CS6 at that time Text Layers could not be converted to shape layers.

Sorry you can't remove the label of a field. When the Label is on the Left (either left aligned or right aligned) then you can resize the label (using drag and drop) but there is still a min width that the label must have. You can also change the Label to be Above but that might not work with your spacing either.

How do you create a text link to jump to a row in numbers

Short: How do I create some simple link from Row 1 Cell 1 showing December, to jump my screen down to row 300 for example?
I want to do this because I use numbers for a 365 days per row long spreadsheet, and collumn A B C D E are staff names, it's alike a daily booking calendar for employees for me to see availability.
I have made the top header row of staff names frozen, so when I stroll down I see the staff names above each collumn, useful. I have also added a row under this and want to write each month, e.g. Jan, Feb, Mar and turn those to links, taking me directly to the row in the spreasheet. How on earth does one do this?
I have searched: internal link, simple link to a row, internal shortcut, internal link and others, can not find it in this forum, google or the help.

This script isn't based on a Numbers 09 script so I don't know if it works the same way, but it seems to work ok in Numbers 3.5.
The dates (Jan 1, Jan 2... Dec 31) must be formatted as text, NOT as date and time.
For ease of reference the table is called Holiday Planner. The script must be updated if this is changed.

One cosmetic problem is that when you jump "onwards" in the calendar as opposed to "backwards", the first row of the month appears at the bottom of the window rather than at the top. I'm not sure there's any way of fixing that.

How do you create a login page using dashcode for the iPhone's mobile safari that will transfer you to the next page?

     Hey I have created a login page in Dashcode for a mobile safari app (aka iphone web app) and I am having trouble since I can not find any useful info about multiple pages. I don't want to use a stack layout view because it is only a login page and I need to check with a database to make sure the user's login info is correct. Right now I have it set up so that it loads another iphone web app project once it validates the info.
     The only problem with this is I am having a good bit of trouble trying to pass values from my php code to javascript or html. For some reason calling the javascript inside the php code makes the actual code inside the app not be called and same with the echo statment for the html.
So I would like to be able to create the app in this way:
Login page > PHP > MS SQL > PHP > UNKNOWN (if I can't get the javascript or html to output both) > Secure info on the next page
     I believe It would be a lot easier if I had the option for a multiple page but instead I am having to load up an entirely new dashcode project. If anyone knows a better way please let me know. Or if anyone knows a link to good information on passing values from php to javascript, because I couldn't get any of the code I tried to work, I would really appreciate it.

OK. This is weird--but I should be used to that, and just grateful that it seems to work (for now).
What I had done is FTPd some image files to my site using Filezilla, but when I had tried to access them, I was unsuccessful. I am almost sure that I used the same url (and variations of it) as you suggested, namely,  http://mysite.verizon.net/username/filename , and it either did not work, or gave me the "Page under construction", or, in some cases asked me for my username and password.
But, when I did it this time, it worked. So I probably had something off, but I can now do what I want.
By the way, if you'll permit another question, while on the site-builder site, it said that there was a "Web Photo Manager", and said that "To download the Web Photo Manager: Open the Site Builder application and go to the All My Sites page. Click on the Web Photo Manager link (listed under Advanced Building Tools )." I can't find it--would you happen to know where it is?
In any case, thanks a lot for all your help--it solved my problem.

Check your settings in Flash before copy / paste from
Illustrator (Edit > Preferences or Ctrl U). Select 32 bits for
Color Depth. Set the size limit to a higher value. Select Best for
the Gradient quality.
And if copy / paste would not work fine, you could still
export from Illustrator as a SWF.

How do you create instruction text in a text field that will disappear upon typing in the field?

I have a form containing a text field. Can I place instruction text in a text field so that after the end user can see the grayed out instructions?
What I would like is when he clicks in the field to type text, the instruction text goes away; it is no longer seen or printed.
Right now I have a tool tip; however I believe the instruction text would be of more value to the end user.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this?

Hi Diane,
You can do this by setting a null pattern for the textfield (see the Patterns dialog in the Object > Field palette). There is an example here, have a look at the objects to the right on page 2: http://www.assuredynamics.com/?portfolio=laying-out-form-objects.
There is script that changes the font style depending on the value of the field.

I was told you could add notes to your work in Photoshop, but I'm not sure how to do it.

You use the Notes tool, which is under the eyedropper tool.
Click on the spot in the document where you want the note to appear, the Notes panel will open, and you type in the Notes panel.
If you place four notes in your document, 4/4 will show at the bottom of the Notes panel, with arrows that allow you to cycle through the Notes.

How do you create flow chart in Photoshop?

I am trying to make a massive flowchart in Photoshop but connecting the arrows, lines, etc is a total pain in the butt. Is there a template, or a better way to do it? It is very easy in excel, power point and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For clean illustrations you'll need a vector graphics program.
Adobe Illustrator comes into mind, but until some time ago a line with arrow
appeared longer by arrow length than the line without arrow....a really idiotic
behaviour.
Better use InDesign. This programm is probably not intended for these graphics,
but for me it's really very pleasant (if you redefine a plain line as a line with arrow,
then the line keeps it's length).
There are all necessary features, lines with different arrows, stroked or/and filled
boxes, typographical text in vector quality, grouping etc. etc.
