How do you delete a photo or album in iPhoto on an iPad?

I want to delet some photos on iPhoto on my iPad. How do I do it?

how did you create your album or import your photos to iPhoto?
Not all photos and albums can be deleted iPhoto. If you synced the photos from your Mac, they can only be dleted by removing them from the synced albums on your Mac and syncing again. Only photos taken with your device can be deleted directly from your device using the Photos.app. Photos in the edited album, or tagged albums will be removed from these albums by removing the tags.
Delete photos
Depending on how your photos and video clips were added to iPhoto, do one of the following:
Photos and video clips taken with your device: Open the Photos app on your device, tap Camera Roll, tap to select the photos, and tap .
Photos and video clips you synced to your computer using iTunes: Connect your device to your computer and, in iTunes, deselect the photos and video clips you want to remove from your device. Click Apply, and click Sync.
Photos in the Beamed, Photo Box, iTunes, or [App] album: Tap a photo, tap (tap Edit if you don’t see the tool), tap Delete Photo, and tap Delete.

How can I delete it? It will allow me to edit the photo but there is no option to delete the photos or the entire album.

How do you delete duplicate photos in the photo section of your iPad? My iPad has duplicated n tripled my photos n want let me delete them. I can delete photos from any other section but not in photos, this is taken up all my memory. Help!!

In the case of photos it is not a question of the type of device, but of the application you are using. Both iPhoto and Photos app are applications that allow albums to be uploaded and mirrored from your Mac. If you do not want the mirroring, don't use this feature - use the Photos Stream to upload. Then you can delete.

How do you delet your photos on iPod?

I need to free up some space on my iPod so I want to delete the photos. I can't seem to figure out how to do that through the itunes interface. I hat to go into the file and delete something maybe I shouldn't have. No help from "help" files or from the manual. Everybody tells you how to put them on but they don't tell you how to remove. It's seems like a pretty basic thing to include in a manuale. Help please... THANKS!

Connect the iPod, in the summary screen click on the "photos" tab.
Remove the check mark from "sync photos". When you see the message asking you to confirm, click "yes", then click "apply" (bottom right corner).
However this will remove all the photos on the iPod.
If you just want to delete selected ones, you can remove the photos from the folder with which they are synced.
This is an option.
Create a new folder and give it a recognizable name (e.g. iPod photos).
Drag (or copy) your photos into this new folder.
Connect your iPod and open iTunes and when the summary page appears, click on the "photos" tab.
Under "Synchronize photos from" choose "Selected albums" and select the new folder you created and click on "OK".
Then you can just add and remove photos to and from that new folder as you wish.

Photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/wesites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by removing them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing (if you were able to delete them directly on the iPad, then the next time you synced photos they would be put back onto the iPad, unless you remembered to also remove them from your computer).

You delete photo library pics the same way you put them there. The sync process. Deselect them in itunes and sync.
Camera roll photos can be deleted one at a time from the iphone or all at once when you import them.

2. go to photos tab
3. deselect sync photos
