How do you delete a web site out of bookmarks?

How do you delete a web site completely out of browser bookmarks. I had a website (snapfish) that I put in browser and saved as favorite then put a widget on homepage for easy acceess and I put a screen name in instead of my email address and everytime i try to log in the screen name is on log in and I erase and put in email address but when I hit log in it reverts to wrong name again so cant access my snapfish account. I dont want all my sites to be erased out of browser favorites so is there a way to erase snapfish account out of browser bookmarks and then start over so I can put in correct  log in names?

Open browser.
menu button.
press bookmarks.
Looonnnngggg press on the bookmark you want to delete.
Scroll down window.
Press Delete bookmark.
that should do it.

If you mean from the Safari menubar item "Popular"
Choose "Show All Bookmarks" from the Bookmark menu in the main menubar, or click the icon for that in Safari's menubar -
The page that opens should show a list of Bookmarks. In the Left column, click the item under Collections named Bookmarks Bar.
In the new view, locate the folder named Popular and click the reveal triagle to the left of its name - it will open and reveal all the items listed in Popular.
Find the one you want to remove, click it once to select it, then press the Delete key on the keyboard.

    Hi,
My version of "your Starter for ten.."
Some websites are able to override the tab setting you may have set and open a second window behind the current open one.
Use the Red/Close button top left when this happens.

  • How do you add a web site to a folder in the iMac Bookmarks Bar?

Safari 6.0.5 does not have a "+" left of the URL. According to the Apple Safari video, that is how you add a web site to a folder in the Bookmarks bar.

Drag the website "icon" from the URL bar into the folder in the Bookmarks Bar.
When you start draging, a green + will appear.
    Best.

  • How can I delete old web site designs from Muse CC 2014.1. (13 Aug. 2014)?

Having recently installed the latest update to Muse and been obliged to re-name my web site file I thought it only appropriate to clean up the desktop.  In DW there is a message window where a site can be deleted but I do not see a similiar method in Muse.

    Hi,
You can look your computer for the .muse file of your site and delete it. Once you have deleted it, try to open it from Muse. You will get a pop up, which says the file/site is missing, would you like to remove it from the list. Click yes and it will be gone.

  • How do you delete the saved sites

I deleted browser history and cache. but the sites are still there. thanks

I have had this problem first turn off two suggest sites options.
    1. In the upper right side of firefox start page notice the google search box - see the tiny arrow pointing down, click on it. At the bottom of the list click on manage search engines. Then uncheck the "show search suggestions" box.
    2. Upper left corner click on firefox then options then privacy at the bottom of the privacy see location bar - when using location bar suggest - click on the arrow on the right click on nothing click ok
now you have turned off all new suggestions the old suggestions are still there - the only way I have found to remove them is when they appear move your pointer to the top one - do not click it just highlight it in dark blue and press your delete key - press delete multiple times and remove the whole list.

    Hi turintest2
Thanks for taking the time to respond - however your reply didn't really help as you haven't explained how to delete the compilation album that had been created.
I managed to sort it out by doing the following (I'm posting this so that it may help others).  I don't know if this is the simplest/most elegant solution - but it works.
In iTunes, find the compilation (in my case, the 153 songs) and, starting with the first song, follow this procedure:
On the iPhone go to 'Songs' and scroll down the list until you find the first song that was listed in iTunes (above).  You should notice (as in my case) that the song will have the correct title (and artwork too if you'd found this previously before making the compliation) but the wring artist.
Swipe LEFT and press the 'Delete' button.
Repeat with second song in iTunes list, deleting the individual songs from the iPhone, one by one.
Although tedious, this seemed to work for me.  Reason for doing down the iTunes list is that it is in a pseudo-alphabetical order and I wanted to make sure I'd got every one.
Now busy re-importing the original albums from CD.
Thank you APPLE for making this such a laborious process.  Why can't designers actually TEST the products they design so that they can appreciate first-hand the likely problems?
Anyhow, thanks turintest2 for trying to help me - it was appreciated.

  • How do you delete an itunes account when you don't have the password.

My partner's itunes account was hacked. She cannot get into it.  Neither her id nor her password work.  Apple has said they will put a "hold" on the account, but this renders itunes useless and it seems you can't start a new (second) itunes account on the same iPad/iPhone/iPod.  How can you delete the itunes account altogether so that she can start a new one?

I assume you're using an iOS and not an OSX device here. If not, then let me know.
Go to Settings>Scroll down to iTunes and App Stores>Click Apple ID>Click Sign Out
Then, create a new account on the web and sign in
    I hope this works

All I want to do is delete the current web site and start from scratch. What do I need to delete to start all over? I want to reset up the web services and wiki sites to integrate with podcast producer. any help would be appreciated.

How did you delete your sites?
You'll want to use the 'Server Admin' tool.
The page you're seeing is the /Library/WebServer/Documents/index.html file.

How do you delete an app on an iMac? Easy to do in iOS, but can't figure it out on an iMac.

Usually you can drag it from the applications file to the trash.   But there are some exceptions and those may require you to consult the developer's site.   The rule is, never install an app before you have details of how to uninstall it.   Being wise after the event, I suppose, but worth thinking about.

  • HT4528 How do you delete 'SAVED MESSAGES' on iPhone 5s

How do you delete 'SAVED MESSAGES' on iPhone 5s?  It's taking up about 10GB of 32 GB capacity.

After much searching on the web and reading many (sometimes amusing) posts on this topic here is what I have found.
In Settings>General>Usage my saved mesages were using 3.2Gb and no apparently immediate way of deleting them.
However as the good book says "seek and ye shall find".
SO this is where I went:
Settings>iCloud>Account> then scroll down to ADVANCED and select Mail; again scroll down to the bottom and select Advanced and yet again scroll to the bottom (well at least to DELETED MESSAGES) and tap on the line called Remove.
Here at last you will find a setting that enables you to select the period after which iOS will remove your deleted messages.
The shortest period is one day so you will haev to wait 24 hours to finally have that memory back but it should work and is a nice feature in iOS although it is well burried!!
