How do you delete Calender entries?

I have synced my Outlook calendar with the iPod Touch. However, since most of those calendar entries have meeting reminders, they keep popping up when I am listening to my music, interrupting it.
I can live without the calendar entries, but am not sure how to delete them without resetting the whole iPod.
Any advise is appreciated.
Windows XP Prof. SP2
Microsoft Office 2003 SP2

As far as I'm aware, you'd have to delete them from outlook, then sync. Apple allows no manual control on the calendar.

Provided that you have performed a sync. in the first place, I can think of few ways:-
1. Restore from Nokia Backup
2. Restore from Outlook (Ovi maybe?)
If you are using Outlook, on the setting, select "Nokia PC Sync Advance Setting > Direction > Only update PC data to mobile phone " to restore your data.
As for restoring from phone, if there is a "recycle bin" in Symbian OS, then perhaps it can be done.

I am new to Apple devices and I'm struggling with the Calendar functionality. I know how to remove an entry in the calendar when I'm the meeting organiser but when I'm not it appears that I can't remove the meeting. Am I missing something, this can't be right?

Any file that you have deleted to moved it into the trash will not be completely deleted unless empty the trash. For the verification you can search for the file in the spotlight that you have deleted and click get info there you will see the file is located into the trash.

In this way you will revoke the SES.If you want to delete the SES, after revoking SES click on Delete icon, So that the SES will get deleted.

How to transport deletion config entry

I have deleted payment terms in Development client and want to reflect the same in Quality.It did not ask for Transport request while deleting.I am aware in case of any addtion or modifications we select the particular new/modified entry and create a transport request by including the changes.
Here I can't do that since entry is deleted.How do I delete the entry in Quality.
Please help.

You can recreate the Transport Request in the following way
1. By seeing the entry in QA recreate the Payment Method in Development client and at the time of saving ensure that a transport request is prompted.
2. You will have to delete the Payment Method and SAVE IT IN THE SAME Transport request and then release it to see the effect in the QA client.

I was a bit alarmed to hear that someone as experienced as you had never heard of the problem !!
The bookmarks were not synced. I had entered them from the iPad 2. Before I got your last message I had tried repeatedly to edit and delete but kept getting one or other in the title of the bookmarks list but after repeated tapping I managed one by one to get these links to produce a red circle when I tried to edit and was able to delete them. The last was the Bookmark bar which kept coming as the title but I finally managed to remove it too. When I now tap Bookmarks on an empty Safari screen I get a list headed Bookmarks with entries of History(which is empty because II had deleted all history), Bookmarks Bar, Apple, Yahoo!,Google and iPad User Guide.
I tried both of your suggestions which worked of course but did not themselves sem to affect the problem.
I am grateful for your help even if your specific hints did not do the trick. You encouraged me to keep trying. Problem solved.

Hi Cynthia! If you are syncing from something like Gmail you can go into the iPhones Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>(account you are syncing)> and turn off contacts. It will ask you if you want to delete them from your phone - just click delete. Exit Settings and turn phone off by power button (not all the way OFF). Then re-open Settings>mail, Contacts, Calendars>(account you are syncing)> and turn Contacts back on - This is where you need to be careful - When you turn contacts back on you will be prompted to delete or save the contacts already on your phone. CLICK DELETE. You should now have only your synced contacts on your phone! Hope it helps!

How do you delete 'SAVED MESSAGES' on iPhone 5s? It's taking up about 10GB of 32 GB capacity.

After much searching on the web and reading many (sometimes amusing) posts on this topic here is what I have found.
In Settings>General>Usage my saved mesages were using 3.2Gb and no apparently immediate way of deleting them.
However as the good book says "seek and ye shall find".
SO this is where I went:
Settings>iCloud>Account> then scroll down to ADVANCED and select Mail; again scroll down to the bottom and select Advanced and yet again scroll to the bottom (well at least to DELETED MESSAGES) and tap on the line called Remove.
Here at last you will find a setting that enables you to select the period after which iOS will remove your deleted messages.
The shortest period is one day so you will haev to wait 24 hours to finally have that memory back but it should work and is a nice feature in iOS although it is well burried!!

How do you delete a web site completely out of browser bookmarks. I had a website (snapfish) that I put in browser and saved as favorite then put a widget on homepage for easy acceess and I put a screen name in instead of my email address and everytime i try to log in the screen name is on log in and I erase and put in email address but when I hit log in it reverts to wrong name again so cant access my snapfish account. I dont want all my sites to be erased out of browser favorites so is there a way to erase snapfish account out of browser bookmarks and then start over so I can put in correct log in names?

How do you delete duplicate tracks off your playlist - everytime I connect my hard-drive it adds another of every single track - argh!!!!

You are doing something wrong, iTunes doesn't add tracks to the library unless you ask it to, so there is a problem somewhere in your workflow which is creating the duplicates. For example, having iTunes set up to "Copy files to the iTunes Media folder when adding to library" and then repeatedly adding in a folder from an external drive would do it.
Once you've worked out how to stop creating new duplicates you can look at the issue of deduping what you already have. See this recent post for some thoughts and a script that may prove useful.

Not a good idea! The "show duplicates" feature shows "all" duplicate tracks, but you only want to delete the "extra" copies, not the "originals".
