I need to delete files from iCloud WITHOUT having those files deleted from all my devices. How do I do that?

Just got off the phone with Apple customer service. It seems there is no around this problem. Once you use iCloud, you're screwed. The day you decide you don't want to have certain files store in iCloud, but you still want the files accessible on your computer, you have to spend valuable time copying/hiding a set of files on each device, and then re-setting up those same files in each device they way they should be once you delete them out of iCloud. Same thing if you decide to cancel your lCloud account.
No software should have the ability to hijack your data this way.

If the song has been purchased from itunes store, you cannot delete the song from the cloud but you can hide it. - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.
You do not need to subscribe itunes match which is a different product from itunes in the Cloud.

Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

My little brother had gotten an ipad for his birthday one year. Since I was the only at the time who had an icloud account, I thought I'd make it easier for him (as he was 8 at the time) and connect my icloud account, to his ipad. However, over time, obviously apps and pictures have accumulated and my icloud account is extremely full, especially as it is linked to my iphone as well. Now, I was wondering whether there is any way of me being able to create him his own icloud, and transfer his photo stream and apps to it. I know I can go to delete account, but would that delete everything on his ipad?

Migrating to a new account will only delete photo stream photos, not camera roll photos. To avoid this, save them to the camera roll by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll, before deleting the existing account from your phone. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on a separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com from a computer and delete the other person's data from your account.
Getting each other's text messages is caused by using the same Apple ID for iMessage. To fix this, the person with the new iCloud account should go to Settings>Messages<Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with their new iCloud ID. To avoid getting each other's FaceTime calls, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

Im using Flash Media Server to stream MP3s for a completely
web enabled jukebox. The trouble is some of my MP3s have "." in
their filenames. For example I have a file called:
Music/O/One Minute Silence/Buy Now... Saved Later/12 - On
Deaf Ears
This will not play. I have tested with other files, as soon
as a . appears in the name it will not play. Ive tried escaping the
filename by replacing "." with "\." this also didn't work.
Any ideas?

I think you misunderstand. I am streaming by using
mp3:<filename> without the .mp3 extension. This works fine.
The trouble is if the filename contains a "."
Here is a proper example then:
mp3:mymp3hasa.init
Which would play a file called "mymp3hasa.init.mp3". This
doesn't work. Im not sure if I'm meant to escape the "." and if so
how to do it.
Ive been googling these for ages, and can't find anything!
