How do you delete pictures that have been synced on from another computer?
before our home computer crashed i synced some pictures on my phone, now they are using up space and i dont want them on there anymore but i can't figure out how to delete them. iv'e went through my itunes and i can't find anything. i need help!!
they stayed there when i synced to my new computer. i have thought about doing a factory reset just to get rid of everything, i dont have much on my phone

If photos were synced from your computer then they can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need to remove/de-select them from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

Place that first folder of photos that you synced to the iPad within the main folder of photos that you sync from and select them to sync again. How do I delete videos that have been imported from iPhoto?
Somehow I imported to iMovie 11 all the videos I have in iPhoto and they've been broken down into clips (thumbnails?). I don't want those videos/clips in iMovie or on my hard drive at all! (I just want to keep the originals in iPhoto.) How can I actually delete them rather than hiding/moving them? I've tried highlighting them and using Delete or Command/Delete, but that doesn't seem to work.
iMovie does not have a physical copy of your clips. They reside in the iPhoto library and iMovie references them there. You have to delete them in iPhoto. But be careful, that is your only copy.
You can prove this to yourself by right-clicking on one of your iPhoto event clips in iMovie and selecting "REVEAL IN FINDER". It should take you to a folder within iPhoto. -
How do I see Pictures that have been saved to TC via Cameras Wi Fi ?
Still getting to grips with my new camera and new Time Capsule. I have been trying, via Wi Fi settings on the Camera, to transfer pictures from the camera to my Windows 7 PC. The Wi Fi transfer worked in as much as they are now on the Time Capsule and can be viewed using File Browser from my iPad and iPhone but I can saccess the Time Capsule to see the pictures from my Windows 7 Computer. What am I doing wrong ? Perhaps it isn't possible to access the pictures on the Time Capsule from a Windows 7 Computer ? Thank you.
You should be fine.
Install airport utility for windows on the computer.. that helps loads.
Make sure the names are SMB compatible.. ie all names in the TC are short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
Then in windows explorer, type directly into the address bar..
\\TCname or \\TCipaddress.. where you replace those with the actual name or ip.
More things can go wrong of course.. from the windows airport utility access the file sharing and turn on the guest account to read and write access .. make sure the workgroup is set to WORKGROUP -

Step 1 : Plug your ipod touch to your computer
Step 2 : create a folder on finder and name it whatever you like. leave it empty
Step 3 : go to photos tab under devices, your ipod name on itunes
Step 4 : check "sync photos from" and choose your empty folder
Step 5 : click apply on the lower right corner in itunes
Step 6 : if you don't want any of your photos in your computer to be synced, uncheck the "sync photos from" and click apply
Step 7 : if you want some of your photos to be synced, choose the folder you want to be synced and click apply

Connect your iPod to iTunes, click on your device, and then click on the "Photos" page. If you don't want any photos on your iPod, make sure the "Sync photos from [photo application]" checkbox is unchecked. Or, you could select specific photos in that page to sync to your iPod.

You are not getting the same screen as you used to sync them to your iPad ? e.g. if you select the iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your Mac's iTunes (option-command-S enables the sidebar) then on the right-hand side of the screen the last tab should be Photos :
If the tab isn't showing then is your iTunes screen wide enough for the tabs to fit ?
To delete all synced photos try selecting an empty folder on that tab and sync that. -

Photos than came from computer will need to be uncheck on computer then do a sync to delete.
You can only delete photos from your Camera Roll directly. -
