How do you deregister Essbase from HSS 11.1.1.3 ?
We have Planning 11.1.1.3's Essbase security externalized to HSS. However, when we run CSSexport.bat, we do not see Essbase security exported. (CSSexport did export all other security).
CssExport also kicks out this error

Surprisingly, it does not complain about our Planning's Essbase applications - as if they are not recognized.
I was thinking of login into HSS and delete Planning's Essbase applications - which I hope will de-register Essbase security from HShared Services.
Is that a good idea?
I can try to register Planning's Essbase applications to HSS after that.
I have backed up all of Planning's security and HSS security.
Also, our Cssimport works great on production server. It is our TEST server that we experience the problems mentioned above.

Hi,
You could delete the essbase application from HSS then in EAS right click the application again and register.
Though the issue may be more serious than just registering the applications again, you may have to revert essbase back to native and then externalize to shared services but try out the first method first and see how it goes.

If the content is on an external drive, but your library knows where to find it, then it should all work. Connect your device, make some selections for what to put on it, and sync. If, on the other hand, your current iPod is the only place holding some of your media then see this user tip: Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

If you are trying to get all the photos from an old phone to your new phone, you could sync the old phone which would create a backup containing your Camera Roll. Then connect the new phone and follow the prompts to register and name your new phone. You will then be given the choice of restoring data to your new phone from a backup of the old phone. This will replace any existing data on the new phone with the data from the backup so it's really the best option if the other phone is new.
Another option would be to connect the phone to your computer and import your photos to iPhoto or the My Pictures folder. Then you could sync the other phone and under the Photos tab in iTunes you could choose the folders/albums of pictures you want on the phone. They will not be in the Camera Roll, but they will be on the phone.

How do you copy automation from one track to another? Occassionally I mistakenly blow away a track's automation. I open up an earlier version of the song to try to get the automation. It doesn't seem that you can copy and paste the data. After some struggle, I find a way. Is there an easy way?

1. Copy the track containing the desired automation to another track. (create a track below it to keep things organized)
2. Double click on the region and delete the notes.
3. Now copy the region to the desired track.
P.S. Of course when Logic asks if you want to copy the automation data you say yes)

i tryed everything i can in the setting and so on , i even clicked on the downloads arrow to pause it and delete them but like i said it will now stop.

to the right by search library theres an arrow there click on it : it will show you what it is downloading , from there you can pause and select all and delete them but still will continue to download them if you tell itunes to check for downloads. that download engien is crazy i tell yeah.
no matter what we do it will still download them trust me i tryed everything and i also went to icloud to see if it was there but to what i see is that there is no apps there this is some crazy itune program that needs to remade.
