How do you determine what the default filename is when you do a SaveAs?
I have a shcedule that I saved and now I want to save it as a .pdf file, so I go into File, SaveAs and select .pdf in the drop down and the default filename is "document" not what the name of my schedule was. Where is that set? How
do I make it default to the name of the MS Project Filename?

Hi Casey,
Which version, SP and CU do you have? Trying with Project 2010 SP1, the original file name is kept whatever extension selected in the "save as" dialog box.

I've determined (by comparing equation string to body string visually) that Times is in fact the font being used. I just don't see yet how that gets determined. Any further thoughts? -

When shut down and rebooted, the Mac OS X does background maintenance on the system. That can solve minor issues.
Beyond this, it is a good idea to run Disk Repair yourself just to make sure.
Reboot with the option key held down. On the screen that comes up select the Recovery disk icon and Continue.
On the next screen Clcik Disk Utility and Continue.
In DU, in the list on the left select the drive to be repaired - click the item that is indented to the right, not an an item whose name starts on the far left.
Click First Aid, then Repair Disk.
After that is done, quit DU and restart as usual. -
When I upgraded from v4 to v5 my bookmarks was lost. I do have the one that is in the firefox toolbar. Apparently I had a bookmarks add-on. V5 changed my browser how can I determine what the program was and if the bookmarks are still there?

<Edited by Host>You CAN run 10.7, but I don't advise it, buy the 10.6.3 upgrade disk from the Apple Store online and then backup files off the machine and upgrade to 10.6.3., then Software Update to 10.6.8 would be the BEST option for your older hardware and it will run most all of your 10.5 software and be faster than 10.5 or 10.7.
If you go to 10.7 it won't run nearly any of your 10.5 software and you will have to buy all new ones for a machine that's getting a little bit dated, near it's end of life stage. 10.7 will slow your machine down, especially with low RAM.

At your machines stage, the hard drive is getting old, the vents are clogged up with dust and it's going to cost a bit to get the drive etc upgraded. You can if you wish, but 10.7 really needs more RAM (4GB) and a faster hard drive.
But your still subjected to the video card going out etc.
IMO upgrade to 10.6.8 and stay there until the wheels fall off, then buy a new 10.8 machine being released after this summer or 10.9 machine.

Hey there, I seem to have an issue with the 'other' usage thing.
On my computer and ipod, it shows like this:
when I dont even have more than 2+GB in music and less than 1gb in apps and pictures.
I am on iOS5.1.1 because I had many problems with the Wi-Fi bug for iOS6 (no, it didnt fix for me with 6.0.1)
I am very frustatred because I cant even sync music anymore. AndI dont want to do a reset because it takes me 3+ hours to transfer my music.

I already posted this in "Java Programming", so I apologize if you are reading it for the second time.
I'm a CS3 student coding a data structure that uses generics. One of my methods has a possibility of much nicer results than the default if the type happens to be Character. I have been trying to figure out a way to test if the type is Character, but I can't find how to do this. Here are some things I've tried:
1. Stuff that works with variables but not types, like
if (E instanceof Character) // does not compile
if (E extends Character) // does not compile2. Something suggested by someone in "Java Programming":
if (E.class extends Character) // does not compile 3. Something along these lines:
E testOb;
if (testOb instanceof Character)The last one won't work because either I don't intialize testOb, in which case it won't compile, or I initialize it to null, in which case it will always evaluate to false anyway.

How do I see what the play order is when I put a playlist on Shuffle in iTunes 11?
Previously in iTunes, I could put a list on random play and select to view the list in the order it was going to be played. Now in 11, I can't seem to do that. It shows me the order they were put in the list, but not the order they're going to be played in. Is there a way to show this information?

Why are you calling this the most customizable version when you've taken away customization options?
I used to be able to move the back, forward, refresh, and stop (and make them separate buttons as well). With this version, they're immovable, and you're some how saying this is more customizable.
For the first time, starting in Firefox 29, the menu is customizable, and there is a right-click option to easily move items between the menu and the main navigation toolbar. But you are correct that some previously detachable parts of the address bar are no longer detachable, and the tab bar can't be moved below the navigation toolbar through the customize feature.
I don't know how to score that mix of gains and losses, but really, this support forum is aimed at making the current release of Firefox work for you. Did you find a solution, such as the [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ Classic Theme Restorer extension], or are you still in search of one? -

Right-click on that saved image's thumbnail in Windows to bring up a menu.
Select "Open with..." and from that "Choose default program"
A box will open up with a list of Programs to choose from. Photoshop CS6 64 bit should be in that list.
Make sure "Always use the selected program to open this type of file" is checked.
If you do not see it in the list, click the Browse button in this box and it will show folders in the Program Files directory. Double click "Adobe" then Photoshop CS6 (64-bit), then select Photoshop.exe and click "Open". It should add it to the list.
Click OK and when you double-click on your saved file, it should open in Photoshop.
Let me know if that worked for you or if you have other questions.
