How can i buy Lion again when its already on my Air?

Hi.
I have the new Air with Lion pre installed. This is my first mac and i didnt make an Lion backup install drive when i first got it and now i need to reinstall Lion.
Im not sure why but when i try to switch on FILE VAULT it says it cant do it and i have to fromat the HD and reinstall Lion.
I go to the app store to try to buy Lion but all it says is Installed so i cant get it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

i tryed everything i can in the setting and so on , i even clicked on the downloads arrow to pause it and delete them but like i said it will now stop.

to the right by search library theres an arrow there click on it : it will show you what it is downloading , from there you can pause and select all and delete them but still will continue to download them if you tell itunes to check for downloads. that download engien is crazy i tell yeah.
no matter what we do it will still download them trust me i tryed everything and i also went to icloud to see if it was there but to what i see is that there is no apps there this is some crazy itune program that needs to remade.

I would thin you just do what you did on your first machine. If you getting rid of your first machine you should you should lso sign our from the cloud desktop. On your ne machine all you should need to do is install the cloud desktop application. Open it sign in to your ID with the subscription and install the products you do, Its the sign in the and account with a subscription the does the authenticating and activates products.

When it first opened it had a page come up over the apps with free apps that you could download to the iPad. I clicked on the not now button, thinking it would reappear after closing and re-opening the app store, but it did not. Thanks John. I have tried solutions 1 to 3 from (-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.h tml) and they do not work. So I presume that all I can do is to remove all 25 CC applications and start again!
Incidently, ( http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ ) does not list Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 as an update even though Adobe have announced that it is available (http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2014/04/camera-raw-8-4-and-dng-converter-8-4-now-a vailable.html). The same applies for Adobe Premiere Pro 7.2.2 (http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2014/04/premiere-pro-cc-7-2-2.html). If they are not available this would explain why I cannot download them but I am very suprised that Adobe didn't mention this when I contacted them.

You can double-click unto the podcast line and you'll listen/watch it. If the podcast isn't downloaded yet, it will be downloaded from this time.
If you want to download again all the entries of a podcast (particularly useful when you have deleted some that you want to listen/watch again) : Open the little triangle at the lest of the podcast line with the alt key down. iTunes will show you all the entries for it from the first oine to the latest....

If you reformatted you disk, then you music was deleted.
Apple only allows one download and advises that purchases are backed up.
I guess you don't have a backup?

How do you create a download link?

I want to create a hyperlink so that visitors of my website can download certain files (large pictures in this case). I publish my website by copying the index.html and website folder with the "transit" program to the server.
the only working method that I found until now is the following:
I put the files in the folder of a hidden webside, called pressefotos in this case, create the hyperlinks from smaller pictures to the files, save the website into a folder. After saving the files that I manually put in the "pressefotos" folder are gone, so I put them there again and copy the whole website folder to the server.

can this be achieved in a simpler way?

the actual problem was that hyperlinks don't work when the file name contains umlauts.

ITunes U: how do you restart stalled downloads?

Sometimes a course item will get stalled downloading, so you press the Stop button and it stops and you can press the Download button to start again. No problem. However sometimes an item gets stuck and you press the Stop button and nothing at all happens - you can't stop it, even though it's stalled.
I've tried turning Wi-Fi on and off, turning Airplane mode on and off, end-tasking the iTunes U app, even power-cycling the iPad, and it just won't allow you to Stop it. I even deleted the whole course and started again - but it got stuck downloading the same item. Because the item hasn't completely downloaded you can't even edit the course to Remove it. And of course this blocks all of the other downloads in the queue so you can't download any other content.
One item in particular that always seems to stall part way through is the following:

When iTunes U gets stalled like this, how can you get it to wake it up again?

It happened again today. Good idea, but I'm afraid it doesn't work.
Whilst in iTunes U you can swipe left-to-right on an item to bring up the Delete button it only works on items that have already been fully downloaded - no effect on items you haven't downloaded yet or that are still downloading.
What I did notice earlier while it was working, though, is that items marked for downloading in iTunes U appear in the Downloads section of the iTunes app. But this item that's stuck downloading today doesn't appear there - so it would seem that the iTunes download manager has given up trying to download it, but iTunes U hasn't figured that out yet so is still showing it as downloading.
If it helps: new iPad; iOS 5.1.1 (9B206); iTunes U 1.1.1 (410)
Looks like I'll have to do the Sync/Delete/Subscribe/Sync dance again for now...
