Some of the movie trailers just can't be downloaded, have that in mind.
For those that are downloadable:
1. First make sure that
b Enable kiosk mode
is checked (
i System Preferences>QuickTime>Advanced
Once the movies have been loaded completely into the browser (that is, when the bar across the bottom has changed to darker gray) you can either click on the little triangle in the bottom right corner (just like the previous post explains) and select a save option or control-click the body of the movie, a contextual menu will appear with the same options. Do the same thing.

The Video iPods at the Apple Store had movie trailers on them. When I go to the trailers at the iTunes Store, I can view them on screen in different sizes, but I can't download them and put them on my iPod. What am I missing?

If you have quicktime pro you have the option to save any quicktime file off of the internet. It will also convert videos to be viewable on your iPod video.

Trouble downloading movie trailers through the iTunes store

Anyone else having trouble downloading movie trailers through the iTunes store? When trying to download them I get a "The requested resource was not found error". I'm getting it with the Star Wars 3D and also the Avengers trailer. Seem to be happening more often now and I find if it's happening to others.

I've sent a few emails to the [email protected] address from the Trailer section of the Apple website but still have got no reply back.
It seems to me there maybe a push to just stream the trailers instead of having a physical download in your iTunes library ...maybe? iTunes has been pushing the Avengers as a big event so doesn't make sense to not have the links working properly.

You have iTunes installed on your computer ? If not then you can download it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You can buy films from the iTunes store on that - find the film that you want to buy and click on its price. They will download onto that computer's drive and go into the Movies part of your iTunes library. You might also be able to redownload past film purchases (depending upon your country and if they are still in your country's store) via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes

How to get to Movie Trailers from Canadian iTunes store?

It's been a while since I logged in to the iTunes store to watch a movie trailer, so at first (after searching all over the "home" page) when I couldn't find the link anymore, I assumed that maybe they had removed Theatrical trailers from the store all together. But, when I went to the Quicktime site, there is a link to High-Def trailers for the iTunes store!
Anyway, after scrounging around a bit, it seems that in the U.S., because there is a "Movies" link on the home page, which then leads to a "Theatrical Trailers" link, it is possible to get to the trailers. In the Canadian version, there is no "Movies" link, and no way of getting to the trailers (besides logging out of your account, switching countries, etc. etc.)
Am I missing something or is this a mistake?
Any help would be appreciated - maybe there is an obvious link I am missing.

Hi, I have my own apple Id and nobody else but me uses it, and my sister has her apple id and she just uses her iphone to buy things not her computer and there is some songs on her iphone that i'd like to have in my library to put on my devices but I can't figure out how to do it. How do you download an older version of iTunes?

I recently purchased a new laptop, running on Windoes Vista 32bit home premium, and immediately downloaded iTunes onto it with no problems. Then there was a new version of iTunes - 9.0 and subsequently 9.0.1. When it came to installing the upgrade, I wasn't able to do it. The download would get so far, then just stop! No error messages or anything. I was advised to un-install the old version of iTunes and then install iTunes from the Apple website. This did not work and left me without iTunes at all. My question is, is there a way to download a version of iTunes before the 9.0 version? I would appreciate any help with this, as it is driving me mad!!!!!!

ok, its kind of long winded but hopefully this helps:
1. go: My computer/<ipod>
2. in here search for the work control (folder)
3. this will be a transparent folder. right click and change the properties to not hidden and not read only
4. drag it to your my music folder
5. search in itunes for a folder, add my music
6. this should update your music, but the names will be screwed up. remember to let itunes rearrange your music library using rip setting under 'preferences' - hope that helps

Silver AppleTV1 should be configured for syncing to iTunes, then right click on the AppleTV device in the sidebar and choose Transfer Purchases.
