How do you download SDHC files from Panasonic HDC-TM900 camcorder to a MAC

i bought a panasonic HDC-TM900 camcorder. when i try to download files from the SDHC memory card, i only see
a still photo and it appears i cannot download files onto my MAC. the manual for this camcorder tells me that
i cannot download files from a SDHC memory card except onto a PC. however i am in a remote area and i do
not have access to a PC--only a MAC laptop.

I am also new to Firefox. From Firefox start screen click the add-ons icon. In the search box at top right type in " music downloads " and click the magnifying glass - many options will appear by clicking on the blue " more " of each option you will receive additional info. Hope this helps, I have used the Flash Video Downloader add-on with great results.

The new mini has a Firewire 800 port. Likely the PPC version only has Firewire 400. The OP will need a converter cable which is why I was asking first about what hardware is available and how much is being copied.

I'm guessing your files were MTS or something else, as I've never heard of an MPL file. You should ask your question over in the iMovie forum as this one deals specifically with Final Cut Express.

I want to create the service to download multi-files from web server one time
from browser. It seems no way to do it. My soulition is compressing the files
to zip before download it. The problem is that when the user uncompresses the
files,full path of downloaded files are setted. Look like this:

1. Is there any way not to specify the full path of a file when

Attach your camera via USB cable. Camera must be plugged in to wall power (not batteries only). Set camera to Play mode.
Start iMovie. Wait a minute or two. The iMovie import screen should appear. If it does not, click FILE/IMPORT FROM.. Camera.
From the import screen it is advisable to create a camera archive first, before you import. This gives you an exact duplicate of what is on your camera, in case you ever want to go back to the originals. Once you have a camera archive you can erase the contents of your camera. To be safe, import your clips into iMovie from the Camera Archive before erasing the camera to make sure that all is well.
When you import into iMovie, either from the camera or from your camera archive, iMovie will uncompress the AVCHD on the camera to Apple Intermediate Codec, which is a much better editing codec. These clips will be up to 10 times larger than the AVCHD clips. These clips will go into an event (or multiple events) and you can edit.
