How do You empty cookies?

how do you empty cookies?

Hi,
I use to clear Cookies ... Cocoa Cookies.
This is a little application to delete the Cookies you don't want an leave the ones you will hold on just by selecting them and keep them there.
ALL other Cookies that you didn't select you can trash.
Look for Cocoa Cookies on VersionTracker website or on Mac Update.
Good luck ...

• How do you empty a vector

Hi,
I am a newbie to java and Iam kind of stuck.
I have created a JTable and I am trying to populate it with data from a flat file.
The Jtable has five column:
name age title grade hobby
==== === ===== ===== =====
The data in the flat file is as follow:
john
23
analyst
63
knitting
jill
30
cook
23
running
I would like the JTable to look like the following:
name age title grade hobby
==== === ===== ===== =====
john 23 analyst 63 knitting
jill 30 cook 23 running
Currently Iam using a DefaultTableModel and adding a vector which contain the data to it.
I think that I should create a vector for each row and then add it to the main vector to be add to the JTable. But then how do you empty out a vector you finished using.
All help is appreciated.

• HT5312 how do you disable cookies

How do you disable cookies in Safari?

On Safari's Preferences (command-comma) on the Privacy tab you can set 'Block cookies' to 'Always'. Doing so may affect how some sites behave e.g. you may not be able to stay logged in to websites if you set it to 'always', 'block from third parties and advertisers' may be better.

• How do you empty part of the Trash?

I do not want to get rid of all the Trash, just part of it. How do you do that? When I attempt it, it appears that ALL the trash will be emptied. Does this mean I have to move what I want to save to another location and then MT the trash, and then move the files BACK into Trash??

Yes. There is no "partial" trash empty.
As an aside, trash is not the place to keep anything you might wish to use in the future.

• How do you "Show Cookies"

I clicked on FIREFOX/TOOLS/OPTIONS/PRIVACY and it does not show up anywhere HOw to SHOW COOKIES. Also, how do you start Firefox in Safe Mode.
This is a reply to fredmcd-hotmail.

Firefox Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode that disables all extensions.
You can start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

You can type macy in the filter bar at the top of the Cookie Manager window to filter for cookies from www.macys.com.
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

• HT2731 how do you enable cookies from the iTune store so I can download music

how do one enable cookies from the iTunes store so I may download music?

Search for music and then buy it.
If you already have music you want to import to the iPhone, connect it to your computer and open the iTunes application on the computer, and start a sync (in the lower right of the window).

• How do you empty mail "In" directory all at once??

How do you delete all entries in the mail In directory all at once, rather than one-by-one?
I can flag them all and mark them as read, but I cant determine how to delete them. Maybe it cant be done.
Many thanks

TThere is no feature to do this on an iPhone.
if you use an IMAP account you can't bulk delete on a browser and it will reflect on your phone.

• How do you empty the trash in the Classic Environment?

There was a large file on my desktop, called ".tif" (no filename, just ".tif" and nothing else). It was apparently created by the VueScan scanning software. It was not an image I asked it to scan, it's just some sort of test image. It only appears to applications running in Classic. It does not appear to OSX applications, and the Find command in the OSX Finder can't find it.
Using Sherlock 2, running under Classic, I was able to find this file, but the only thing I could do with it in Sherlock 2 was move it to the Trash. So now, it's sitting in the Trash of the Classic environment, but OSX doesn't see it, the Trash in OSX is empty.
There is no "Empty Trash" command in Sherlock 2, or any other Classic program that I have. All of the third-party utility programs that I have for OS 9, such as Norton Utilities, DiskWarrior, etc., won't run under Classic. When I try to run them, I simply get a message, "That application is not supported by Classic."
So, how can I get rid of this file? It is only visible to the Classic environment. Are there any utility programs that run under Classic that can cause the Classic environment Trash to be emptied?
Thank you

Hi, Bob. I have no way to replicate your problem and test this suggestion on my Mac, but I'm confident that it will work. Download File Buddy 8 and use its Find command to search for a file whose name is .tif, including both visible and invisible files in the search. (The "." at the start of the file's name makes it invisible in OS X). Once you find it, select it in File Buddy's hit list — make very sure you're selecting the right file and only that file — and use the Delete command in FB's File menu — not the Trash button in FB's toolbar. "Delete" will remove the file instantly and irrevocably, no matter where it resides, ignoring the usual rigmarole associated with the Trash.
File Buddy is to the Finder what Photoshop is to QuickTime PictureViewer, or Word is to SimpleText. Anything FB can't do to or with your files (and much of what it can), you should be scared of doing. But when you need it, there's no substitute.

• How do you empty mail trash with new firmware

In 1.1.4 you could go to your email account click advanced and set the IPT to empty mail trash once a day. I upgraded to 2.0.1 and there is no longer a setting on that screen to set when trash is emptied. I get a lot of spam so I need to empty daily. Anyone know how to do this with the new firmware?
Thanks.

Also, you can move email to the trash folder directly from your inbox without even reading it. To do so from within your "inbox", click on "edit". You will notice there is a blue dot to the left of all new mail (shows you haven't looked at it.) When you click on edit, all the blue dots disappear.
Tap the same area where the blue dot was and a red circle will come up with a check in the center. Tap the Delete All button at the bottom and every red circled email will go directly to "trash".
In Trash, just do as the previous post says. Hit the edit button and then Delete All.
That's it and to me this is worth much more than the $9.95 for 2.0 that there is so much belly aching go on about on this forum.

• How do you empty emails all at once?

Do you really have to delete each email one by one? There is no clear all? No, empty trash? One by one, that it....

For now you cant. I suspect this will definitely be added in a software update.
You can set it to permanantly delete the trash after 1 day I believe in settings. At least this is something for now!
