How do you extend a chart's x-axis range?

Hello,
Is it possible to extend a chart's x-axis range to ten seconds, rather than the default five seconds?
I've attached a simplified portion of my code, which contains a DAQ Assistant connected to a chart. I've played around with the chart history length, sampling frequency, and sample numbers; however the chart's x-axis range remains a constant five seconds. I feel this is a relatively fundamental concept, but it eludes me.
Settings currently set to:
Sampling Frequency: 2k Hz
Samples Read: 200
Acquisition Mode: Continuous sampling
Chart Update Mode: Strip
Chart History Length: 1024
Solved!

Thank you. I feel foolish as this was trivial:
For those who don't know:
Right-click the chart
Select X-Scale->Properties
Under the Scales tab, enter your time range in the minimum and maximum boxes.

I have a time capsule in my main house with a password protected guest network i set up an apple express in the guest house to extend the networks. Unfortunately the guest house / apple express is only amplifying the main house network. I would like my tenant to join the guest network from apple express. Is that possible?

  • How do you extend the frame from one side but not the whole thing?

I am updating my blog and want to put a rectangle picture into the pre-set frame. I need to stretch it horizontally but the entire frame (i.e., both sides and top/bottom) stretched instead. How do you extend the frame from one side but not the whole thing?

In Inspector, select the Graphic Inspector. Choose, from the Fill options, Image Fill. Select the image from the dropdown and click Open. Now go back to Inspector and click on Scale to Fit. Choose from the options in the window. There are a number of them which should address your problem:
With the Blog template, you will probably need to insert a text box over the stock placement frame and work with that instead.

  • How do you extend the period of a trend line of a graph?

Hi, I am having trouble extending the trendline of a graph. Can someone please tell me how to extend the period of the trendline?
    Thank you.

Hi wildgherkin - have a look at this very good, cheap app that does what you want and more. It is fully compatible with imovie. You can export the file directly into an iMovie project if you want.

  • How do you extend the audio track on the menu to keep playing?

I am new to using DVD studio Pro 4. I created a menu with a video clip from one of the short films on the DVD. I set it as the asset for the dropzone using the Panes Rectangle Frosted Window 1. The duration of the menu is 30 seconds and then it ends in the last frame of the clip with a still. I have an audio track playing and I want it to continue playing over the still (after the video clip has finished) until someone navigates away from the menu. Any advice on how to do this? Thanks so much!

Unfortunately to do that you would have to edit the clip you want and then have the still at the end actually extend to the end of the audio (so it would really be a still at all but you would create it in Final Cut so it looks like a still - if that makes sense)
Basically the Video and Audio have to be the same length and then the menu loops back. You can't have the visual part of the menu stop at the end as a still and the music continue. You can only fake it so it looks that way

  • HT4587 How do you extend an airplay signal with a second airport express?

I have a speaker system hooked up to an existing AirPort Express. I just bought another AirPort Express to extend that WiFi signal, but also wanted to extend the existing AirPlay signal as well. I set it up as a WiFi extender and it worked fine; however, it created a seperate option for AirPlay and won't "piggyback" the AirPlay signal off the original AirPort Express. Any help on how to resolve this would be appreicated. Thanks!

I have a modem hooked up to an ethernet hub. From the hub I have an ethernet plugged into the first AirPort Express. In that AirPort Express under the Wireless tab the Network Mode is in Create a wireless network, and under the Network tab the Router Mode is on Off (Bridge Mode). Under the AirPlay tab the Enable AirPlay is checked
The second AirPort Express is just plugged into an outlet with no ethernet hook ups. In that AirPort Express under the Wireless tab the Network Mode is in Extend a Wireless Network, and under the Network tab all the options are greyed out and unclickable. Under the AirPlay tab the Endable AirPay is unchecked. (I have tried checking that box and unchecking the box to see if either has an effect on AirPlay from the original AirPort Express, and either way it does not work). Checking the box just creates a seperate AirPlay channel.
Let me know if you need any other info.

  • How do you Extend Index

    I received error ora-01654: Unable to extend index Cashw3.idx receipt_status by 16 in tablespace CFW_HISTINDX : CSTS
Can anyone tell me exactly what it means and how to correct the problem
    Thanks,
    Curtis

OK, you can add a new data file to a tablespac with the command
    ALTER TABLESPACE <<tablespace name>>
      ADD DATAFILE '<<file name>>'
        SIZE <<size of data file>>
        <<autoextend>>If you want to create a 50 MB file, <<size of data file>> would be 50 M.
If you want the file to automatically grow if it runs out of room, specify an autoextend clause of
AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 100 K MAXSIZE UNLIMITEDThis will grow the file in 100 kb chunks forever.

  • How do you extend a Greenscreen (virtual set)

    Greetings,
What I have is footage from a video shoot that involved a Greenscreen and have added the SFX in and now need to do Keying. But, the Greenscreen doesn't extend the full length that is needed in order to completely fill up the screen. If I zoom in then I lose a lot of action as it just shows the torso's. So, my question is how do I or can I extend the length of the Greenscreen. (The red arrows indicate where we'd like to extend the Greenscreen) Is there a way to paint in the Greenscreen in the areas that are showing? As you can see from the captured image, the Lightsaber extends out past the Greenscreen so it gets cut off when you key it out. Hindsight is always 20/20 and it would cost us to reshoot the whole thing over. Perhaps there's a way with a Matte or some other method in AE that will allow us to make the Greenscreen longer so that it covers up the background and they I can overlay the background.

Brave to attempt to shoot an action scene on such a small chroma screen. Unfortunately, I don't think it paid off for you. As others have mentioned, it's tedious hand masking that will be your solution. This technique is called rotoscoping. Here are some great resources on rotoscoping that may help things go faster for you: [link] Lots of useful tips and good tutorials on that page.
For future reference, when you're shooting an action scene on a chroma screen, it would be a good idea to have a much faster shutter speed on your camera so that you have less motion blur. The more motion blur you have, the worse your key will look and the worse any rotoscoping will look.
Less motion blur also means tracking the light saber blades would be a lot easier.
I'm working on a commercial for my production company and this is a great scene that we had hoped would make it in.
I can understand - being that you're not a post production company - that you would lack understanding of the basics of compositing, but you should really work on making sure you get the production aspect of your shoots done well. Have someone there to watch the monitor and make sure that your talent doesn't go beyond the green screen. (If it's just the light saber blade that goes beyond it, you're golden though and can just put a straight mask there without the tedious rotoscoping.)

  • How do you duplicate a chart and table? - not so obvious

I have a table and a corresponding chart that I have customized. I want to duplicate the table and the chart.
When I duplicate the chart, it still "links" to the original table. As I change the data in the duplicated table, it does not update the chart.
How do I "link" the duplicated chart to the duplicated table?

    Christopher,
Let me try again to explain, with a little more detail.
In the Sheets Pane, click on the Sheet where the Table and Chart are that you want to duplicate and Right-Click, Copy. Then Right-Click, Paste. You now have two identical Sheets, each having a Table and a Chart linked to that Table, and the Table and Chart are twins of the one in the original Sheet. Now you may Drag the new copies back to the original Sheet, or elsewhere as you desire.

  • How do you extend the time of a rolling credit?

I'm working on my wedding dvd, and I am including a rolling credit that lists all of the guests to be pasted at the end of the movie. The problem is when I include more and more people to the list, the lettering gets smaller in a bid to fit all the text in to a certain time frame. Obviously, the credits should be allowed to run for a lot longer to allow for the extra text. Is there a way of extending the time that the credits last for. I have tried dragging it, have fiddled with the scroll time (58 secs I think, not long enough for what I want to do.) Is it possible to do, or is this way to ambitious for this particular program. If so, would Final Cut do it?

  • How do you extend the reception range on a Time Capsule?

Live in an older home and looking to extend the wifi range of my Time Capsule.  Any advice?

You need to buy another Apple router.. express, extreme .. I guess even another TC.. and run it in extend wireless mode.. this is  just wireless repeater by another name.
Better is to run ethernet and use a second Access Point.. AP which can be any brand under the sun. Faster and you can buy stuff that actually will cover the whole house.. the fact of the matter is, Apple Routers are NOT wifi power houses. They are mediocre at best.

  • How can you make the Chart "Color Highlights" Item Condition val a variable

    Hi,
I have a report with a chart on it.
The chart has on Item Condition on it to change the color of each bar to red if the value is under a certain value.
This value needs to be passed in as a parameter to the report.
    The condition looks like this
if  Avg PerformancePercent < 90 then bar color = red
The 90 in this condition needs to be set from a parameter P_PerformancePercent_Threshold.
I am producing the report in Visual Studio 2005 using CrystalReportViewer to display the report.
Since the value field seems to only take in numeric values I have assumed there is no way to use a parameter something like.
So I am looking at doing this through code.
The object model for the ChartObject does not have many properties/methods on it.
Is there any other way to achieve this?
    Thanks, George

    Functionality using the Crystal Reports SDK in Visual Studio .NET is limited to the appearance of the chart in the viewer such as height and width. See the following for more details;

99% of this time, if you can not do something at design time, you will not be able to do it at runtime either. See [this|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_dev/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes.do] note.

  • How can you extend the signal range of time capsule

I have a time capsule in my office down stairs, and my apple tv upstairs, but the signal strength is very week (only one bar) so when I try to stream a movie is very slow. There is some thing I can do or buy to make the signal stronger??
    Thank you.

You can add an AirPort Extreme to "extend a wireless network" to improve the wireless signal. Locate the AirPort Extreme approximately half way between the Time Capsule and the Apple TV.
    Setup instructions are here:

  • How do you extend the exclude command to subcategories?

In my PSE 6 organizer I have tagged my photios and have various subcategories under a master category. The exclude command only excludes photos in the top directory not to subcategories.

    Thanks for the clarification.
First, you need to make sure that the TC is configured correctly.
o Temporarily, connect an ethernet cable from your computer to one of the LAN <-> ports on the Time Capsule.
o Open AirPort Utility - Click Manual Setup
o Click the Wireless tab below the row of icons
o Make sure that a check mark is entered next to "Allow this network to be extended"
    o Update to save changes
o Disconnect the ethernet cable after the TC has restarted
Next, move the Express close to your computer
o Temporarily, connect an ethernet cable from your computer to the AirPort Express
o Open AirPort Utility - Click Manual Setup
    o Click the Wireless tab
o Wireless Mode = Extend a wireless network
o Wireless Network Name = Same name as your TC network
o Enter a check mark next to "Allow wireless clients"
o Wireless Security = Exact same setting as your TC network
o Wireless Password = Exact same password as your TC network
    o Confirm Password
    o Update to save settings
o Disconnect the ethernet cable and move the Express to the desired location approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of the distance from the TC to the area that needs more wireless coverage. Minimize any obstructions in the signal path.
o Power up the Express in the new location
