How do you find out the balance on a Gift Card you have redeemed?

Got $15.00 from niece for Christmas. I've redeemed the Card and then proceed to purchase some songs I would have normally purchased over a spread out Period. Yet I am receiving receipts as if purchased on my Credit Card.
How do I know if the purchases are being credited to the Gift Card? Times are tight ad I am getting ready to purchase a new Mac Laptop.

You get a receipt for any purchase, regardless of the payment method. You even get receipts for free content. So the fact that you're getting a receipt doesn't mean that your credit card is being charged. Look at the balance shown at the upper-right of the iTunes window when you're on the iTunes Store, just to the left of where it shows your account ID. If charges are going to your credit balance, that will be decreasing as you make purchases, though sometimes you have to sign out of your account and back in to refresh the display.

Help, how do i find out the host server for a website i have inherited

hi i inherited responcibilty for a website, simply because
there was noone else avalable. i have dreamweaver cs3, but only
about 2 weeks worth of knowledge and experience. I was given info
ie. ftp address and username etc, so have been able to download the
website to my home computer, and have been making updates, now
however i need to find out more about setting up a test server so i
can use dynamic pages, specifically for collecting form
information, collecting donations and selling art work. i will need
some information from the host server to start with, but am unsure
as how to identify and contact them, can anyone help me please. I
am sure it is rudimentary, but the information is essential.
also as a side note, could anyone tell me how to find out
where the websites domain name is regestered ( other than
contacting the original designer, as that seem quite impossible)
because i get the feeling that if all else fails i may be able to
move the website to another host ( not that i now how yet, or even
how to select or find a host) please let me know if any of my
assumptions are wrong.

Hi,
To find out about the host, go to register.com and look up
the domain name.
When it gives you results, it'll say that the name is already
taken, but it
will let you do a 'whois' on it.
Those results can give you some info such as the server DNS.
That may let
you figure out the host.
Sometimes the technical contact in the whois, is the host as
well.

I bought two $ 100 gift cards and both found to be redeemed although the cards were in my safe and the code was intact covered with plastic. Finally Apple put the money back into the defective cards. My question is how to find out whether the cards are good and have $ 100 value each? If I use my I phone then the amount will go to my account and I seldom use I tunes cards. The cards we bought is for our son and daughter. Secondly I bought the cards from Best Buys and both the cards were in my possession with gift wrap. How on earth the cards were redeemed? Apple has tried to inform us about the limits you can have. None the less it does not tell you how to ( for instance) know the size of the memory taken by ( contacts). So they have given us guidance but no way to know how to use it or check it. Can anybody advice how to measure the size of contacts ( for instance).? For business users this could be important. Address Book's own database will be differently structured from an exported vCard so it's not really worth tampering with that.
The vCard is a series of fields separated by line returnes, with records being separated by BEING:VCARD and END:VCARD - a typical single simple card looks like this:

As you can see it's only a small amount of data - 464 bytes - so really I don't think you need to worry about the size of any individual entry except where photos are concerned - obviously they take up a lot more room. I checked a card with a typical small photo and the size was 5,137 bytes: so only quite a large photo is going to cause you any problems.
I don't know of any way of collecting statistics on the all-contacts vCard, except that if you converted it to a tab-delimited format and imported it into a spreadsheet or database program it would tell you the number of contacts.

When you purchase a gift card for another person, it is usually delivered instantaneously by email. If that email has not arrived, then check your Your Purchase History.
If you do not see the gift card in your purchase history, there is a good chance you have purchased it incorrectly and it has not been sent.

You probably can't. There's no place you can see a record of redeemed cards, and it's unlikely that the iTunes Store can tell you, though you can go here:

and follow the instructions to contact the iTunes Store and see if they can tell you. They may not be able to help, but it won't hurt to ask.

If the already running VIs are clones of the same basic VI, open and run with the option "Prepare to call and forget", how can I find out the names and index of each clone?

I had an application where I spawned (= ran with Start Asynchronous Call) multiple (reentrant) copies of VIs, and would occasionally "lose control" of them. I needed a way to find all VIs that were running "Top Level" and stop them (so I didn't have to log off from Windows).
I used the Application Property "All VIs in Memory" to get an array of (wait for it ...) All VIs in Memory. I took each name, opened a VI reference to it (simply wire the name string in, as the VI is, by definition, "in memory"), looked at its VI Execution State, and if it was Run Top Level, Invoked the FP.Close and Abort VI Methods. [To prevent the VI that did all this from "committing Suicide", I compared the name string with the current Call Chain, and did nothing if there was a match].
I think you could adopt this idea to do what you need.

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions; nobody on these boards can.

There is no such list of what is downloaded to each phone except in the backup. So if you have a recent backup of each phone you should be able to find an app that reads the backup files and would tell you what list is saved of the content on each phone.

I basically just want to know at dpi of a single image. Is there other program that will read my pdf file and tell me this information.

Thank you, tylerdurdain! That was ridiculously difficult to find. Not sure what version of Acrobat you're using in your image, but for those using Acrobat Pro 11 (in Mavericks), it's buried under View > Tools > Print Production.
That opens a panel on the right.
To keep from having to chase it down this way each time, right click on "Output Preview" and choose "Add to Quick Tools Toolbar". That adds a button to the top right of the toolbar.
Now you can call up the inspector with one click. Choose Object Inspector as tylerdurdain shows above, then click on the item displayed to get its properties.

You can't tell by the email address since you can pretty much put whatever you want in there (especially if the SMTP server is not filtering anything).
The header may be able to tell you something. There is a Received header value which looks like it has the routing information although I am not sure if this is a complete trace or just the last hop the message took.
