How do you find who's on your network

I have 6 machines on my AP network for my office & home business. I do not have it password protected. But I have a neighbor who says he can pick up my signal on his laptop. Is there a way to find out who's machine is on your network?

I strongly recommend you password protect your network right away. It doesn't matter who is on your network if even one person is unauthorized. That person could easily get into private data through your network, or simply piggy back onto your Internet connection for a free ride.
If you click on the Network icon in your Finder window, it will tell you the names of all the computers connected together on the local subnet. However, an intruder need not network with the other machines in your system to take advantage of your Internet connection. For example, I have 2 Macs using the Net via my base station. They are not necessarily connected to each other. I can use the Net with both machines at once, but until I actually use Network to connect them together I can't access one machine from another, and I can't see whether or not my other machine is using the Network or not.
On top of that, I have to have Personal File Sharing turned on to share files between 2 machines. You can change these settings in Sharing under System Preferences. That can keep intruders out of your system, but may not tell you who is logged into your subnet unless they Network, or if they have file sharing turned off on their system.
I'm not sure if there is a way to see if you have any freeloaders via an IP address.

Here is help for the operating system:
If you are locked to iOS 3 then you have an iPod Touch 1st Gen.
If you are locked to iOS 4 then you have an iPod Touch 2nd Gen.
If you are locked to iOS 5 then you have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen.
If you are locked to iOS 6 then you have an iPod Touch 4th Gen.
If you can get iOS 7 and have an iPhone 5 sized screen [bigger] you have the current iPod Touch 5th Gen.
I assume since it says you have iOS 5.1.1 you have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen.
Also, you may want to sync it so iTunes can tell you or you can look at the model number on the back.

Your photos are either in iPhoto (Mac) or Photo Manager (Windows)
1. In the new Itunes you can go to View and select show sidebar.
2. When you plug in your device you should see your iPad.
3. Click on the iPad - you should see a screen like this
Select/deselect the photos you want synced to the iPad.

iMessage does not go through the cellular provider.
Either get physical possession of the device and look or if you have the Apple ID and password, set it up on another iOS device and snoop on your child. Just be aware they unlikely to ever trust you again.

Email apple and tell them about your situation ( they will give you a 4 digit number)
Call your local apple store and tell them about your situation and give them the 4 digit number

How do you find who created a user in Active Directory?

I think it would be almost impossible to tell who created an individual AD record, as in my experience there is generally only 1 Domain Admin account for which to create users.

So I've done some research and have found LDAP queries that will tell me when a user is created, but not necessarily who created the user. The reason I am asking is because I ran an audit of active and inactive users and between my boss and I (we are a small company so we know all the users) we could not figure out who some of the users were. I had a similar problem: I wanted to synch my playlist to my iphone. I like to have my playlist sorted by genre. But under each genre, albums are not sorted by the track numbers. This is a problem, especially when I am listening to club mixes when the DJ smoothly transitions from 1 track sequentially to the next one. Under the properties of each audio file, the Track Numbers and Disc Numbers are already there.
My perfect solution was to turn On Sorting - Sort Album under View>Show View Options. Then, select all the songs in that album (Shift click, Cmd click, etc) , and Edit multiple item information (Cmd I). You will see Info-Video-Sorting-Options buttons. Click on Sorting. Then, under Sort Album, Enter the name of the album. Then OK.
You should now have the playlist sorted by Genre, then each album individually sorted by track numbers. On your playlist you should see, if you scroll right, the column added called "Sort Album".

Using MYsql How do you find out who did not contribute to a particular fund raiser that we all just did. There are many titles to the different charities that is under the othpaytitle of the Otherpay table, I however just want to extract the non-contributors for a particular charity title. Is there anyway to do this? When I do the the syntax below it comes up as an "empty set". The search is done by way of the table Id matching and left joins. Please see below.

A friend of mine forgot their Apple ID password and can't log in. They also don't have access to their email, but that's not the issue. He wants to know how you find out what your current Apple ID password is. He awnsered his security questions but all it would let him do is reset his password, without finding out what his current one is. How do you find out your Apple ID password?

You can't recover a password, only change it. The reason for this is that Apple has changed their conditions for passwords. They now need to have one upper case letter, 1 number, and be at least 8 characters. Also you cannot use any password you have previously used in the last year.
