How do you fix a scrolling problem on Apple TV?
When I click the remote once, it scrolls to end of row or column. I've restarted via remote, unplugged (restarted), restored to factory default = still have scrolling problem. Tried 2 different remotes, same problem with each. Tried unparring then reparring = no joy.

How do you fix a connection problem to the store?
I cannot connect to the iTunes store, use homesharing, or get new updates. I get a time out error. I have tried uninstalling, I've emailed, read articles, called, read more articles and I still can't get it to work. I'm going to school soon and I really need this fixed.
i can sympathize here - i used to get the exact same thing and and something that rubs salt in the wounds is when people who have never had network problems throw the "contact your network provider" at you ... yea, i don't speak fluent indian so i'm going to have trouble there.
then they say "change to a different ISP" ... well they're all the same - if one ***** up on sunday mornings the others will just **** up on tuesday evenings instead lol. anyway no time to moan about the rest - i have to go out in 3 hours
in my case i found the problem was nothing to do with my mac and that getting a different router and/or WiFi hub station sorted the problem out - i got rid of my old router and WiFi box and replaced them with an "all in one" thing and the problem seems to be about 95% better -
How do you fix a dissolve problem cause by a matte?
I use a 4 point matte to eliminate unwanted background but when i do a dissolve with a title, the matte shows up as a reduced luminosity in the title.
I have tried playing around with opacity without a resolution to the issue.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!I tried nesting and it had no impact. I changed the blend mode on opacity to "pin light" and that fixed the issue for the titles where the title was on video 2 and the main video was on video 1
But the problem still remains where I am dissolving to adjacent clips on video 1 as seen below. The area where the matte exists does not seem to be subject to the dissolve. -

You may have a hardware problem, however I'd start by restarting in Safe Mode and if that doesn't fix it I'd recommend running Apple Hardware Test in Extended Mode about 2-3 times to see if any errors come up.

When I go to my downloads folder on my dock and click the file all the content shows up but as soon as I go to open it in the finder, I get a blank window. Has anyone else had this problem, if so, How do you fix it. I also cant delete anything from this folder because of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Trying to install iTunes 10.7, first attempt; downloaded and ran with everything closed, seccond atttempt; just click on run, third attempt; ran upgrade with iTunes open. All of the results were the same.

recently updated iMac and macbook pro to mountain lion. Now mouse and track pad operate backwards i.e. scroll up and page scrolls down. how do you fix this?
System Preferences > Mouse -- deselect "Scroll direction: natural." Do the same for the trackpad > Scroll & Zoom preference.

I can't connect to iTunes. I think it might be an issue with McAfee Security Center - not sure. I am getting an error code of -42408. (Don't know what that means...) Has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?
Having the same issue after downloading the lastest version of itunes. Apple is going to lose me as a customer, if this keeps up with their software updates. They never seem to work.
Really, they should want me to be able to access their store. That's money out of their pocket.
Honestly, I don't know why Apple doesn't have a techie monitering their support threads trying to help fix issues.

iTunes Match asks me to sign out and sign in again every time I attempt to update. How do you fix this problem?
My problem is it asks me to sign out and back in every time I try to update ITunes Match. And it won't let you add a new song to a playlist unless it's updated on Match. So every time I add a song I have to sign out and back in just to put it on a playlist. I saw this issue on the internet but no solution.
Very sorry I did iTunes Match. Shuffled my playlists without asking and this additional extra work just to add a song to a playlist. Not impressed - at all.
I do thank you for trying. Surprised Apple doesn't monitor this stuff and step in and provide a fix. Left to our own devices. Thanks Apple! -

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect to this network OK?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
