How do you get ical to show on your home screen? I deleted it from my homescreen (somehow) and i want to get it back.

Just open the International preferences panel, go to Times, Customize, and click on the leftmost number (hours). A small triangle lights up, and a pop-up list of various formats opens. Just select the one you like (1-24 or 01-24). Make sure to set the Date & Time preferences to 24-hour clock first.

As long as the app remains in the store then you can re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or via the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
Similarly ibooks can be re-downloaded, and depending upon what country that you are in then music, films and tv shows may also be re-downloadable (if they remain available in the store).

Do you have an Restrictions set that would hide the apps? Settings>General>Restrictions
Have you used the Spotlight search? Maybe you just can't find them.

It is either on another page, in a folder, or you have restirctiosn set.

Also, c.getFontMetrics(c.getFont()) will be an NPE because Font is initially null.Maybe I don't understand the question. The following works for me:

Remember, if you ever want to find an app quickly, you can slide all the way to the left (iOS 6 and lower) or pull down (iOS 7 and later) to get to an app.
If you know for certain that you have deleated the app, please try restarting your phone. There are many ways to do this, but the safest way would be to hold down the power button and then slide to power down.
Once powered down, restart and try to find the icon on your screen. If you still can't find it, go into the App Store and then find the app you were trying to access. It should have an iCloud download symbol since you've purchased it before, rather than saying "install."

Hi Rolomoto, when in Finder, press shift+command+G and type "/Users" in the box (without the quotes). You can also get the "Go To" box from the Finder menu. Finder will show you the different users folders, with the currently logged in user having a "house" for the folder. Because each users' folder is for them only, you won't get permission to see much inside them.
