How do you get iWeb not to reload my entire page?

How do you get iWeb not to reload my entire page content when clocking on internal links? Sometimes I just want to change one picture from one page to the next and want the remaining aspects of the site to stay as is so that your web browser essentially only loads one image and keeps the other stuff. I have seen this on basically all pro websites. THANKS!

When you eneter information into iTunes Producer for uploading, the info must match what is in the internal metadata. In this case, the book is called Mississippi, but in iTunes Producer it is spelled Misssissippi. There is an extra "s". This will cause an error.

How do you get iWeb to play audio automatically when a page is opened?

I noted elsewhere around here that all one had to do was replace some source that included "Quick Time JS" with other source, but I never actually found "Quick Time" in my iWeb-created pages. I bow in acknowledgment to the wisdom of the crowds...

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. If you've added the music file to a page then you will have to do some post editing on that page's js file which will be in the the iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb/Site Name/PageName_Files folder. The js file will be titled Page Name.js.
In that file look for the text autoplay="false" and change false to true and save. You will need to use a text editor. TextWrangler is a free application and is very good for this type of post publication editing. After saving the file, reload the page and that song will auto start.

I Accidentally synced my notes to my iPod. I didn't know how to unsync, so I deleted them out of the IPod. When it connected to the wifi, it deleted the notes out of my iPhone. How do I get them back?

I would agree to do the spotlight search and see if it appears. I had an issue with my Mail app before where I could not find my sent folder but once I spotlight searched...it magically appeared.

How do you get iWeb to look at a different folder?

I have two versions of my site (one slightly more updated than the other) on my hd, and want to point iweb to the newer one. I know how to point iweb to where it will be pulishing TO, as in godaddy, or my dropbox or whatever. But how do I change the folder it is publishing FROM, the folder that holds the site materials.

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder that you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

How do you get songs not in your library?

I have some songs that are not in my library so I can't download them into my iPod. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Locate the tracks (songs) and drag them into the iTunes "Library" section. Then Create a play list from the "file" menu (so you can quickly find your song/s) and drag the songs from the library, over to the playlist in which you want them and let them drop in.
Plug in your iPod (make sure that you do not disconnect the iPod if it says "Do Not disconnect").
Go to "preferences of iTunes under the "File" menu. Click on the "iPod" icon.
Once there, click on the "music" tab and make sure the box for "automatically update all songs and playlists" (something like that), is checked.
Update your iPod and your newly added songs should be copied over to your iPod.

Once pictures are moved from your camera to your iPad (using the camera connection kit), how do you get the photos off of the iPad? They do not show up in my photo stream or my iCloud. I am able to see any photo I took on the iPad using the iPad camera (in iTunes, photo stream, or when I open windows explorer and browse the iPad director), however I cannot see any photos transfered from my camera to the iPad. The camera connection kit must have put my photos in a directory I cannot get to and cannot sync.

Your fan(s) will run at high speed (i.e., loudly) while video is playing, and you can't get around that.
If your fans are not slowing down within 2-4 minutes after CPU- and/or GPU-intensive usage ends, and the application that was showing the video is still running, Quit that application. (In fact, if you're accustomed to Windows, you may not realize that simply closing a Mac application's window does not quit the application. You still need to use the Quit command in the application-name menu. There will always be a bright dot beside or below the application icon in your Dock for each application that is open.) Quit the ones you aren't using, and see whether that allows the fans to slow down without restarting the machine. If that doesn't do the trick, reset the SMC:

When it first opened it had a page come up over the apps with free apps that you could download to the iPad. I clicked on the not now button, thinking it would reappear after closing and re-opening the app store, but it did not. How do you get this back so that I can have the opportunity of checking the apps out?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
